I've tried steeping this tea exactly as instructed. It's not bitter just extremely flat. Everything special about this tea is in the aroma. I found it very disappointing.

What a great tea to warm up with. I've never had a tea that was spiced quite like this, and I love it. From the moment I opened the package and got a whiff, I was hooked. I initially bought 2oz to try it, because I wasn't sure I would like it or not. At the rate I'm drinking it, I will soon need to buy half a pound. This one's in my top three, for sure.

This is my "relax in the evening" tea. Need to be sure that you follow instructions 175 degrees for 2 minutes or it does get a little bitter. I love the big pieces of orange! Relax & Enjoy!!!

I recieved this tea as a gift and I love the aroma and exciting flavors. I did steep too long for one cup and it was a bit bitter, but 2 minute steep time is perfect. Love this tea!

I've been trying really hard to get into Teavana teas, but I've had a lot of misses. I thought this one was, the first time I brewed it I put in the rock sugar. The second time I didn't and I liked it a whole lot better. Sugar in tea isn't really my thing.

I got this on Christmas Eve and it went amazingly with all the baked goods we had around. The aroma is very warm and inviting.

I don't think it is bitter like others have commented, but I brewed it at 175 degrees for only 2 minutes with good results.

I loved this tea for the last 2+ years (you had to ask to hold some of the oranges when purchasing). I would go to the store so I could buy the tea without the excess oranges. Apparently there were so many complaints about the excess oranges, they reformulated. I brought home my pound and discovered the oranges had been shredded. The shredded rinds make it bitter tasting. I miss the original 2008 version before the excess oranges. It used be an incredible tea that was worth the price.

I bought this tea on a whim because it has been "upgraded". All I can say is that I absolutely love this tea, and find myself drinking 2-3 cups at a time sometimes!

I was very disappointed in this tea. It was rather expensive but I decided to give it a try because the reviews said the tea was worth it. I've tried brewing this tea several times now and and I just don't see the draw or spice in the tea that everyone else has. It tastes bland and bitter no matter what temperature I brew the water at or if I steep it for less time than the label states. I'm not saying the tea is bad, just not worth what I paid for it. I'll not be purchasing this one again.

The initial flavor trends towards an exceptional cup of tea. Unfortunately, I brewed it 2 minutes too long and the lingering after notes is bitter. Save my first over-brewed cup, this is an extraordinary tea.

I drink alot of oolong tea and love a good chai, but this one is beating out the chai and I don't know why I tast chocolate but I do. Love it!!!

This tea is my favorite, I drink it every day. You have to be very careful when brewing, steep it for too long it gets bitter. It's great with a few rosehips added to it.

I just rediscovered this tea as the nights got a little cooler. Smooth, spicy and soothing. Great morning, noon and night. As with most white teas, mind the water temperature and brewing time for the perfect cup. If you like chai, try this one.

I was very disappointed in the flavor of this tea. It had an odd aroma steeped, and leaves an aftertaste. I will not be buying this one again. I pawned it off on a co-worker. I'm glad I only bought 2 ounces.

This tea is delicious! I love mixing it with Zingiber Ginger Coconut Rooibos tea - it is really smooth and counteracts any bitterness, as it adds a bit of sweetness without having to add a sweetener. It is my favorite combination and I can't wait to drink it every morning! The aroma alone is so heavenly it relaxes me when I am stressed.

I like this tea very much. I find it to be pretty robust, and I agree with a previous reviewer that you must time it carefully. I followed the directions on the label, as it was recommended to brew 1-2 minutes -- and I went for 2. But it was incredibly bitter. So I went for 1 minute and that was just right -- with a little honey in it. I like the nutty aroma - reminds me of Christmas.

I am a fan of warm flavors (meaning I lean towards dark teas, versus fruity herbal teas), so when the salesgirl at my Teavana recommended I try this, I was a bit wary because of many orange pieces in this tea. When I tried it, I was very pleasantly surprised! The citrus flavors are not overpowering at all - rather, they are an extremely well-balanced complement to spicy flavors. The orange also adds the benefit of leaving a refreshing aftertaste, though I sometimes wonder if it might add tannins, as I sometimes am left with that parched-mouth feeling. The nutty notes in this tea are extremely pleasant, and give it a smooth, cozy taste, if you know what I mean. I would definitely recommend this tea, especially during the colder seasons!

I don't usually buy the white tea since it is not strong enough flavor, but blended with other teas this ones a winner. Great blended with the formosa nut oolong also with the chai. Two completely different flavors but both very flavorfull. Will definitly buy again, love it!

Spice of Life tea is wonderful.... the various tastes remind me of the fall and winter seasons. The tea itself isn't extremely robust, it's a bit on the lighter side. On another note, the only thing I really have had a problem with with this tea is that you must steep it very specifically to the directions... leaving it in for 15 seconds too long is long enough to make your tea very bitter!!! I brew this at 180 degrees for 45 seconds. Very good tea!
