Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This was a truly complex, heightened flavor experience. The tea itself was easy to taste and great in quality, and the added flavors are intense, but pleasing. Take your time when you taste it, as the flavors are complex and bear a second or third consideration.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This was my first Teavana tea purchase...a couple of years ago. It is still my favorite tea. I enjoy it hot and as an iced tea. As a hot tea, it is soothing and a nice relaxer at the end of the day. As an iced tea, it is light, refreshing and slightly fruity. A good all purpose tea that should be a staple for any tea lover.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
When the sale person had me smell this tea, I was in haven. The smell of it made me want to buy it right away. But I only bought 2 ounces because it was pricey and it was a flavor I never tasted. I made the tea with my One Touch Tea Maker, and after tasting it, I wished I didn't waste my money. There's an after taste, that reminds me of old cherry candy. It's the worst tea I've ever had so far. The types of flavors I like are, Blackberry Mojito, Blue Berry Bliss, Strawberry Lemonade. So when I saw that this tea had cherries, I thought this would work out for me but it didn't.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I agree with several of the above comments. This tastes like cherry cough syrup. I love cherry flavor and cherries themselves but this missed its mark. I taste the white tea and cherry but it is bitter and I wish I would have tried it in the store before I purchased it. I'm not very happy with this one...
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I bought this tea without trying it first, mainly because I had never bought a tea from Teavana that I didn't like. Well I hated this one. It smelled delightfully of cherries, but tasted like a dose of cherry Tylenol.
I hate wasting food/drink and hate wasting money even more, but after forcing myself to drink two more sips after the initial one I dumped it down the drain. I'm sure it is packed with antioxidants, but the not even the health benefit is worth the taste.
To the tea's defense I brew all of my teas with hotter water to bring out the flavor more. This flavor should have stayed muted. Perhaps this flavor would be enjoyed by someone who brews their tea for a very short time or doesn't use hot water?

I Liket a lot
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I simply adore the scent of this tea. Every time I'm in the shop, I have to take in a few lungfuls. The scent is what led me to purchase it. When I made it at home, it still smelled just as lovely, though the flavor was perhaps a bit more delicate than I would have liked. Otherwise, a simply wonderful tea.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I wasn't a huge fan of this one.. The smell was Great!! But it doesn't taste the same way it smells. It has a strong taste and after-taste, which is a bit minty or almost like licorice. I will not be buying this one again.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Finally!!!! The previous and PERFECT formulation of Snow Geisha has been restored! Free of the bitter and overpowering hibiscus, and confusing chopped fruits that rendered the tea impalatable . This tea is a delicate and elegant balance of fragrance and taste. The aroma and taste of the cherry blends deliciously with the white tea. It is essentially a cherry flavored white tea with pizzaz. I will recommend this tea to my patients. It is good for your body and nourishing to the soul.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
One of the beat teas I have ever had.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Im sorry i really don't enjoy this one at all. It is so Cherry tasting, i cannot taste anything but cherry. If i steep it at the correct time it's pretty weak, steep any longer and i feel like im drinking cough medicine. I was disappointed because it sounded so good in the description. Maybe i will have to mix it with something else and try again. Any suggestions?
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The overpowering cherry smell is undeniable, but unless brewed perfectly, right time, right temp, I feel this goes bitter and tannic and all the in-your-face cherry fragrance doesn't convert to the same flavor. Going to try blending as a few have suggested and maybe try iced. Will finish my tin but probably not go back for more.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
First impression is cherry cough drops and I can't get past it. I won't buy this again.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I was a tea hater. I referred to it as boiled grass clippings because that was the only taste I ever tasted in store bought tea bags. Until my brother got a job at Teavana. I didn;t know tea had different flavours. Then one day he introduced me to Snow Geisha, but iced rather than hot. I was hooked on how beautiful it tasted and soon mixed it with Strawberry and strawberry lemon flavoured teas. For anyone looking to introduce a friend to loose teas who turns their nose up at tea, iced Snow Geisha is a great introducer.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This new "upgraded" Snow Geisha is good, quite good, but it is nowhere near the original. I have to agree with other comments I've read on here regarding this. The color is not as deep nor is the flavor. I had some old Snow Geisha left when I ordered more and discovered this difference, so I blended it with what I had left. It recovered it, but I'm disappointed they messed with a good thing.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I purchased this tea on my first visit to the Teavana store in Roseville. It was love at first sniff!! I didn't even care how much it cost, all I knew is that I HAD to have it. One of the employees suggested that I use it for mixing. When I brought it home I mixed it with the Fruit Bomba (1 tsp each) and steeped it for the recommended time and at the recommended temp for the Snow Geisha. I always use sweetener too. It was great!! I decided to try it on its own too and it's good solo as well but I would really only suggest using it for a mixer. To me it smell just like a cherry lifesaver. Yummy! Lately I have only been putting a half a teaspoon when I mix it. I was also told that you can infuse this tea up to five times (adding 30 seconds to each infusion). Which is great! But you really need to be careful when steeping because if you don't do it on time and temp, it will taste "weedy".
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea is amazing! It's a tough one to brew in that the water definitely needs to be the appropriate temperature and it cannot be overbrewed, but when done correctly it's heaven!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I got this tea for Christmas from my brother. I love the smell, it knocks you out its go such a complex and lovely smell. The tea itself the flavors don't seem to come out and it is weak even steeped long. The trick which has made me love the tea is mixing it half/half with Samauri Mate Chai. Suddenly it is rich, full flavored and the cherries from the Snow Geisha burst out in flavor.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I received Snow Geisha for a gift during Christmas 2009 and I thought the tea was the most delicious and wonderful smelling tea I have ever had in my life! It was the kind with the whole rosebuds and cherries in it and it had the lovely pale, white color. I received it again this year and I was very disappointed to see that the formula had changed (been upgraded) and now includes cranberries instead of the tropical fruits and is now a pinkish/red color. The cranberries take away from the cherry flavor and I just don't like it as much. I will continue to drink it, but not as much. I really feel that they ruined a great thing. I agree with the others who want them to bring back the previous formula!!! [...]
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I was excited to find a truly cherry flavored tea. It does smell like cherry lifesavers but I don't see that as a con. I like this by itself but LOVE it with Strawberry Paraiso. I can't wait to try the combination iced!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
this tea is perfect for me if i mix it with green Sencha - i purchased the Snow Geisha 2 days ago and brewed a cup when i got home - too fruity and not enough tea taste - then i remembered i had some Sencha in the cupboard - mixed it approx 2 parts Sencha & 1 part Geisha - PERFECT - cannot wait to try it iced!!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Mostly I enjoy white teas the most, but for me the cherries in this a much too overpowering.Alas I will drink this tea but not overly satisfied with the flavor.

It smelled great, but the flavor was... eh. I'd drink it again, but probably not BUY it again. I'd recommend it to friends looking for a nice innocuous tea.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea smells wonderful, even if it reminds me of cherry lifesavers, and is great to just around and smell. After brewing it though I'm very confused because while it has a strong flavor, but at the same time it is rather weak. Great smell though!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I recently began drinking tea after a 15 year hiatus, having no access to gourmet teas after graduate school. After discovering a Teavana store about 1 1/2 hours away, I savored the scent of White Geisha. My first purchase was absolutely HEAVENLY! It was a perfect blend of white tea and fruits, both flavors balancing one another. However, my second purchase was heavy on the fruit and I had to add more white tea. Overall, I'll definitely continue to purchase, as it is one of my favorites, but will have the white on hand to balance the cherry.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I had wanted to get the Snow Geisha for some time after having smelled it in the local Teavana store but felt it was too expensive. It stayed in my mind, however, and I finally purchased it. The brewed product still has the most tantalizing fragrance imaginable, but the flavor is fairly weak and not at all like what I imagined. I cannot taste rose petals or any other type of fruit and the white tea is also undiscernable. I tried this hot with German rock sugar and will try again cold, perhaps blended with another tea that adds more body. The cherry flavor, though pleasant, does seem to be artificial. It actually seems to mask the other flavors in the mixture almost entirely. I do not feel that the blend, though an olfactory delight, is worth the price, however.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I think it's a great tea to have all by itself either hot or iced. It's nice and fragrent both by taste and by smell.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This was my first Teavana purchase in several years and I am glad I chose this blend: the flavour is to die for. Although I drink my tea with raw sugar, I would gladly drink this tea without any sweetener. Most of the white teas by other companies are so "light" that one can hardly enjoy them but this tea has a good body to it and a flavour that lingers quite nicely. This is a tea that I will purchase again very soon. Cheers!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
this is my favorite tea, i worked at teavana and i would mix Snow Geisha with the green tea superfruit unity and it smells and tastes beyond amazing. i am a cold tea type of person so i would highly recommend getting snow geisha mixed with superfruity unity and have it made cold.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea tastes so good! I find it's best when you steap it about an minute and fourty five seconds. It's a bit bitter without sugar, but put a splenda in and it's cherry heaven.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This is a very pleasant tea and has a great aroma. However, the this tea is sensitive to steep time and temperature. If you go beyond 175 degrees or steep longer than 2 min the tea starts to taste like cough syrup and eventually sour cherries. Advice, treat this tea gently and it will be your favorite.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
On it's own, I'm sure it's very bitter and very strong. I haven't tried it alone, I usually mix it with something more fruity or citrusy.
The smell is amazing, however there is a strong bitter cherry bite with it, I do not think it has the taste of cough medicine, but more like a sour cherry candy. Steeping the tea for too long can ruin the tea, since it's so strong.
This tea is best with a low steep time, and mixed with another tea, snow geisha being the tea that is less prominent.
Like that, it can be really enjoyable.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Love Love Love this tea. It is my new favorite. It is expensive, but worth every red cent.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I tried the Snow geisha and Peach Cran-tango blended together on ice slightly sweented. I love it. It was the cherry sweetarts that I loved from childhood.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I think that this isn't a newbie tea to start with.
That being said...I absolutely LOVE the taste of this tea...and if you like a warm cup of cherry comfort..this tea is for you.
I can understand the cough medicine references but that's going to come with anything with a cherry aroma. Try it for yourself and see...I guarantee you'll love it when you smell that delicious aroma.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I have tried many teas and this is by far my #1 favorite. I always have to have it stocked.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
this tea smells amazzzzing! that's why i bought it. First time around, I blended it with the sour cherry. That was extremely cherry flavored, and overwhelming to say the least. Second time around, I combined the sweet amore with the snow geisha. That was a nice combination of spice and fruit, and delicious...UNTIL my last sip. I found myself reminiscing about cough-syrup. It has an artificial-medicinal quality to it that makes me wonder if it has been infused with something lab created.
The smell is still amazing to me, but I am afraid this one may be the last tea to go in our household. Definitely a bold, easily over-brewed, cherry fiasco.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
We got this for Christmas and the aroma reminds me of cherry flavored cough medicine. It is ok when you drink it. I didn't realized they have a new/old version of this.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
It is just a beautiful tea. It has a complex flavor of dark cherry, rich fruit, and a strong finish. If this tea were a wine it would be an amazing cab!
Just make sure it is not boiling water and no more than two minutes. any longer and the taste is bitter and ruined.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I love, LOVE this tea! I go through alot of Teavana's white teas, with Youthberry and Imperial Acai Blueberry still making regular appearances. However, NOTHING beats Snow Geisha iced and in the evening it's wonderful hot. I love the strong cherry flavor that's not syrupy sweet, and the hibiscus gives it just enough tartness to play across the tongue. I even hooked my roommate on it!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The original version of Snow Geisha was to die for when mixed with rooibos peach, this new version is okay at best. It doesn't have the full flavor as the previous version, and it is missing the rich cherry flavor the other one embodied. When you smell this one in the store you think it's the same, but it disappoints

The old Snow Geisha was Amazing....
I am sorry I was not able to stock up before it was sold out.
I am not a fan of the "new" version... It has to strong of an artificial cherry flavor; like cough syrup.
I hope they consider changing this one again...

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I have over 30 varieties of tea in my home, most of them green or white, and signed myself up for the White Tea of the Month club purposefully, in order to bite the bullet and see if there was anything else in Teavana's shop that I liked. I go to the store regularly and have made numerous online purchases beyond the tea of the month club, and I review almost every tea that enters my house. (No, seriously-- go look.)
I did NOT like Snow Geisha. I did not sample the 'first version,' as other reviewers have, but rather the latest version, which was included in my monthly box of tea. Let me tell you why, and why I gave it only one little Buddha.
The ingredients list, like all Teavana blends, is exciting. "White tea, cherries (with pits), rosehips, hibiscus blossoms, orange peel, apples, lemon peel, mango bits, pineapple pieces and rose petals." Of all of these, the chief ingredient, the white tea, is completely undetectable. The cherries, which I strongly suspect are candied, overshadow everything, in tandem with the apples, of which only the peel can be tasted. The rose petals are nonexistent, though a second brewing brings out the rosehips, which sadly do absolutely nothing for this brew. The overall taste is strongly astringent, not sweet so much as sharply sour-- between that and the smell of the cherries (which is the only detectable fragrance of the final pot), the summary impression is Robitussin cherry cough syrup.
The color is not the pale golden pictured above, but a vivid pinkish red. This reinforces the cough syrup impression.
The tea is not soothing or satisfying. Multiple brewings-- experiments with adding sugar, varying the amount of tea used, washing the leaves, reducing or increasing the water heat -- have not produced acceptable results. I like a cherry tea, and I keep the Wild Cherry Green Tea in the house. I do not like snow geisha; it is, in short, a hot mess and a waste of white tea leaves. It is, in fact, the only tea I have every purchased that I will not drink.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I've seen from other reviews that there used to be a different Snow Geisha, but i've never tried it so I can't say if it would have been better. There used to be another tea, Japanese Wild Cherry, that was amazing and they stopped sellig, so when the sales guy showed me this, I was excited. It smells EXACTLY the same as cherry lifesavers and very strongly. You could probably use it as potpourri. As for taste, I may have brewed it too long, but I thought it had a slightly bitter undertone while the main flavor was the aftertaste of cherry lifesavers. And it came with a "dry feeling" if that makes sense. Not sure how to describe it, but it made my mouth feel dry and weird. Anyway, the tea may have been better if the cherry flavor was stronger or less artificial, i don't know. but i still enjoy it. it's great if you've just woken up because the smell is a great pick-me-up.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Cherry flavored cough syrup was the first thing that came to my mind after one sip. The cranberry flavor is much too strong. It takes over the entire flavor and is a little harsh in the after-taste. If I wanted herbal tea I would've broken out the old Herbal Essences. My Dad liked it. It smells really good, looks pretty, but not an interesting flavor. I

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Snow Geisha was the first tea I purchased from Teavanna. It was my all time favorite. I purchased a cup to try the new formula and was disappointed. It tasted flat and bitter. What happened to the wonderful cherry undertones? Luckily I stocked up on the old formula and will be rationing it out.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea used to be one of my favorites, before they reformulated it. It was a very pale tea with a hint of real cherry flavor and delicate floral white tea. Now, it's a very red tea that tastes like bitter bile when I first sip it, then finishes with a very fake, cough-syrup-like cherry note. I did not overbrew the tea or use too hot of water and it still came out bitter. Thumbs down, Teavana... bring back the old Snow Geisha!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea is very interesting on its own and good mixed with the blueberry. I like that I can brew it 2-3 times, but this tea is also very sensitive to heat and water that is too hot, which will make it very bitter. Great when cold-brewed overnight in the refrigerator, which doesn't expose it to hot water at all.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The other Snow Geisha was my favorite of all. please bring it back. Too much hibiscus/herbal flavor, not enough white and cherry
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This makes an outstanding iced tea especially when equally mixed with Wild Orange Blossom....what a beautiful blend they make.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea is great! We were going to give it as a gift to a friend, but when we tried it, we loved it too much! Be careful about steeping it too long though... it can get bitter.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I DO NOT like the new blend. The old blend had a hint of cherry and a smooth white tea finish (as long as you didn't overbrew it). The new blend has too much fruit, tastes strongly of hisbiscus or rosehips, and has no real white tea flavor at all. Reminds me of the supermarket herbal teas in a bag...which are much cheaper! Please bring back the old blend.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The tea smells very similar to generic cough syrup (sweet artificial cherries) with roses and small hint of fresh cut grass. I expected to taste the sweet cherries but only got tartness and roses. I could BARELY taste the white tea and the finish was extremely rough with an aftertaste not really expected. This tea really needs to be reformulated with black tea and not use the delicate white tea.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The old formula was my favorite tea EVER! We usually made it on Saturday mornings as a special treat. Since my husband usually gets up before me and gets the tea brewing, it was a delight to walk into the kitchen knowing what a taste treat I had waiting for me, But no more. The new formula is way to strong, might be OK chilled. It tastes like a grocery store tea now. Won't be buying is any more.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I am an 8 cup a day tea drinker and thought I had found the best ever with Snow Geisha. Then the formula changed and the great taste is gone and the red color reminds me of an inexpensive herbal tea. Why change the formula?

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The old Snow Geisha was the best, my favorite along with Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls. Thank goodness I stocked up before they changed the formula, because after I tried the new version, I was very disappointed. It's more peachy than cherry, and tasted somewhat flat instead of lively. If you want to keep the new one, fine, give it a new name - or give the old one a new name - but please don't obsolete my favorite tea!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I am very disappointed in the upgraded Snow Geisha. The original Snow Geisha was my favorite of all the Teavana teas; the upgraded version is too tart and hides the wonderful cherry flavor the original one had. In fact the upgraded Snow Geisha has a completely different taste and should have been a new tea on its own. Please, please bring back the original Snow Geisha.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I love love love Cherries! I couldn't wait to try this tea. Even the name of this tea is inviting. I went to Teavana to make a large purchase of teas and during the visit I tried Snow Geisha. I was thinking of purchasing it as a gift for my best friend, but wanted to taste it first. When given the choice of the tea being hot or cold, I chose hot. I was excited while I was waiting for the sales person to finish making it. I could smell the cherries, but when I tasted it...it tasted exactly like bad cherry medicine. I really tried to over-come the bitter sharp taste. I went back into the store and added 3 large scoops of the rock sugar to see if I could calm the taste, but no. I was dissappointed. I love the teas at Teavana and purchase mostly white tea, but Snow Geisha is not for me.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
In my opinion, the new "upgraded" formulation is nothing like the old one I fell in love with. With my eyes closed, it tastes like an apple herbal tea. And the new brew is bright red, not tea-like at all. Gone is the wonderful cherry flavor and strong tea flavor -in something that would make a nice iced tea in summer.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
We loved the old blend of this tea, the sales Staff did not notify us of the change. We ordered the tea thinking that it was the same tasty blend. This new blend tates terrible and it is not worth the price. We tried returning this terrible tea and they refused to refund our purchase claiming that the new blend is an "upgrade" and that they could not refund or exchange the tea. This new blend is obviously a downgrade I suspect that Teavana is trying to cut cost be adding cheaper ingridients to their blends it is very dissapointing.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I find that I enjoy this tea when it's been freshly brewed, and then, I refrigerate the leftover tea, & it is is delicious as a cold tea!
It is especially useful to know that it requires a very short brew time, or it will become bitter (I find that is true of all the Teavana teas, because they are so fresh). So if the recommendation is to brew for 4 minutes, I brew no longer that 1.5 or 2 minutes. Also, I sweeten with Stevia, which can be helpful to Diabetics & dieters.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Used to have a lovely, delicate cherry taste and smell. Now it smells medicinal and whatever has been done to the blend overpowers the white tea. It gets bitter easily if your water is too hot or it is brewed too long. Used to be worth the price, I even bought an electric kettle to avoid the temperature problem. BRING BACK THE OLD BLEND!!!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea will fuse well with about any tea that you can throw at it just avoid steeping it to long or steeping with the water to hot.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The new blend has totally ruined this tea. The roses are so strong that you can't taste the delicate flavor of the white tea. The color has also changed from the lovely off white to a pale pink.
Go back to the old formula!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I thought I would love it just by reading the ingredients. Unfortunately it has somewhat of "artificial flavoring" quality to it. If you steep it shorter than recommended the tea is too weak, but the fruitiness is right. If you steep it as recommended, the tea portion of it is right, but the flavoring overwhelming. I tried it iced as it usually works great for this type of tea, but it still didn't do it for me. I guess that maybe if you are a big fan of teas like Earl Grey, than it you'll like it... I love it's smell and the name is a killer! I really bought it for the name - interesting, intriguing... then the aroma, and the list of ingredients just made me expect so much... I am disappointed!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea is great iced and slightly sweetened. Pricey, but well worth it.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
You have to pay attention to how you brew this tea..if the water is too hot and you steep too long, you ruin it, but prepared in just the right way, this is a magnificent cup of tea

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This smells absolutely wonderful, and it blends really well with several other teas. However, I can't drink it on its own; it tastes way too much like artificial cherry-flavored cough medicine.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Snow Geisha is my "bad day" tea. If I've had a really horrible day, or if I'm stressed to the max, I'll brew a pot of the Snow Geisha, listen to some soothing music, and before long I've reached that happy, peaceful place. I love the sour cherry mixed with the flavor of the white tea -- I've never had anything like it. It's a little pricey, but it's completely worth it. A pot of Snow Geisha, the sound of one of our cool-weather thunderstorms outside, and a warm sweater is my personal version of heaven.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea is fabulous mixed with the peach rooibos tea. Love, Love, Love!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
what made me purchase this product in the store? the smell! at first i thought it smelled great. i get home and make a cup, and find the taste does not carry over. its like drinking light tea, with a hint of bad artificial cherry.
one thing i also realized after really trying to pin point the scent of this tea, it smells IDENTICAL to ludens cherry cough drops. i took it to work, and everyone that smelled it (without me telling them what i thought) and they all said it smelled like the same cherry cough drop. im glad i only got 2 oz, i will be using it to scent up my room or car, not drink!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I love the aromatic qualities of this tea. It is excellent both iced and hot. Because it is naturally sweet, I can use little or no sugar. I feel that this is an excellent tea for spring and summer.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I am not a big white tea drinker, but when I took a sip of this tea, the world sort of fell away, like it was just the tea and I. This tea actually tastes like snow - the promise of it, the crispness of the cold air, the faint tickling that comes from the first flakes of it landing to melt on your face... As you drink the cup, the taste doesn't go away. My friend and I were having a Teavana tea sampling one night, and she kept looking into her cup and saying, "How do they do that?! How did they put the snow in there?" We would laugh, and then savor another sip as we remembered cool winter days with the hint of frost around us. This is a divine tea.

This tea is a real pick me up in the morning. It is very fresh and the aroma is to die for...not to mention the taste! I love it. I found about about Teavana about 3yrs ago. And, everytime I visit the store in IL, I purchase this same tea...along with others. I am so so glad they have come to Indiana!!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The tea has a phenomenal aroma during brewing and pouring, but it just doesn't carry through. It ends up tasting like cough syrup. If you like the way Cherry NyQuil tastes, then this tea is for you. I'm not particularly fond of the taste.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Very bitter. Steeped it exactly 2 minutes. I could really taste the rose and cherries.

I have it when i watch movies or when I want to relax. The body of the tea is exactly what I think a white tea should taste with it and its full of unique flavors. It couldn't be any better.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Its my first time trying this tea, it was not what I had expected-in a bad way. I am not sure what is the ingredient that makes it smell potpourri-ish, I'm not happy with it.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
i have gotten this tea from teavana in the past i had gotten it mostly because of the aroma it gave off to me it smelled like a fruit by the foot candy and plus i love to eat the dried cherrys in the tea. when i began to drink this tea unsweetend i had found it to be too strong and a bit bitter it is hard to get the right amount of sugar in the mix but when u get it down this the best tasting, smelling tea i have ever drunk. i wouldve have given it 5 little buddahs peoples if it wasnt for the strong and bitter taste but in all i think you should buy it. (ask to smell it at your local teavana you wont be dissapointed.)

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I love this tea mixed with Oolong but by it's self the flowery/cherry flavour is too strong and I get very little of the white tea's flavour. I think this tea is intended to be mixed with other tea's. I like it with the Monkey picked Oolong and I am thinking I may try to mix it with a black tea as well.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I love this tea iced, and its a perfect summer tea. I like my iced tea light, and this one fits the bill, and my faviorte flavor! I sun brew in the shade, As to not get it too hot in the Houston heat an I don't get any bitterness, it just takes a certain amount of watching and timing.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I was very pleased with this tea, it's probably my favorite at this time and my sisters too. It's really nice with Raw agave nectar too. But don't let steep for too long, it will get bitter quick.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I do like this tea, but I think it is much better iced than hot. I don't know that I'll continue to get it, and if I do, I don't think it will be as often as the other teas I normally buy.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Probably the only reason this tea was bitter was because I steeped it in too-hot water. But the smell and flavor were phenomenal, and well worth the price. Would I purchase it again? Most definitely!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This is a wonderful tea, one of the first Teavana teas that I tried. If steeped too long of if the temperature is too hot, it will taste bitter. When brewed propery, it is beyond compare (so get out the thermometer and the timer!). There is a pleasant fruit aroma and the taste is very mild. I drink this tea in the evening to wind down.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Just the aroma of this tea alone is fantastic! Although I prefer it hot with just a little rock cane to bring out the cherry flavor, it's almost as good without sugar. Mixing it with the Japanese Wild Cherry (Green) is another great way to enjoy it. And, just yesterday I had it iced -- fantastic! You can't go wrong.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This is one of my favorite flavored white teas. I adore cherries, and to me, this tea has a pretty natural flavor - not at all like cough syrup. The smell literally will lure me from across the house, but the flavor is actually very mild and delicate. You do need to be careful not to oversteep, as the type of white tea leaf that teavana uses in all their flavored white teas are very unforgiving and will definitely get bitter. To be honest, that's my only complaint. Using silver needle would make for, I think, a much smoother and higher quality tea, but I understand why it isn't used - the density is such that heavy ingredients would easily fall to the bottom of the tin. Oh well. It's still one of my favorite flavored teas.

This is a special tea, I drink it to treat myself to a wonderful experience.
a great way to start a day!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea has the best aroma! It smells as good as it tastes :D It makes great iced AND hot tea. It's great for people of all ages because it has low caffeine, and its great at any time of day for the same reason. I think it tastes like White Gummi Bears :D
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I really think that there are much better teas available at Teavana like Imperial Blueberry acai white tea, Earl Grey creme black tea, and the imperial green tea.
If you like the smell of cough medicine then this is the tea for you. The smell is very empowering and reminds me of cheap potpourri. The actual taste is not that bad but again it is not the best tea at Teavana by far.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
The first time I ever had this tea, it was mixed with Six Summit Oolong at a Teavana store-front. I recently re-discovered it in my pantry and just had a cup of this blend and it is so fresh and amazing. My husband (who doesn't normally drink tea) didn't even have to sweeten it! I just bought the Snow Geisha today without any other flavor added, and will admit that it is one of my favorites and often hard to find...it is a popular choice amongst steadfast Teavana drinkers! I would recommend solo or as a mix to anyone!
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea was received as a gift to my husband, and I have pretty much stolen it from him. When we opened the bag to smell it, I was in love. Of all the flavored teas I have sampled, this one works for my sweet/sour pallette. In addition, it contains strong floral overnotes. It would be a lovely treat for anyone who likes complex tea recipes.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
this is one of my first teas from teavana, and i have yet to find one that tops it. it has such an amazing scent that reaches out of the cup, and the wonderfuly calm and fruity taste does not fail to live up to its captivating fragrance. i would recommend this tea to anyone either loves tea or has never gotten into it.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I use this great tasting tea in the morning to help reduce arthritic pain. It really works! To be completely honest, I also take Celebrex; however, the Celebrex alone only reduces the pain slightly. But with the addition of the Snow Geisha, I am almost completely free of pain the better part of the whole day while I am at work. I then drink another cup at night before going to bed and remain pain free throughout the night. I have also tried sour cherries alone and they do not work as well as the tea blend. I have been using this tea now for six months and it has been a godsend. When I run out of the tea for several days I am back to suffering with pain that almost makes me unable to walk. When back on the tea I am able to resume my normal routine. I have given the tea to several friends with arthritis and they have had similar results. I have never bought into homeopathic health care, but, this works for me and I am sure it will work for others. On top of it all, this tea has a wonderful flavor and is quite smooth. I also like the fact that it is very low in caffeine and as a result, I have no problem drinking it late in the evening. Why hasn't there been any scientific research done on this tea blend?
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea is more strict on steep time for me. Do not exceed the recommended time by much or it will be bitter. It is one of my favorite flavors.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
When i walked into teavana, this was the first tea i asked to smell, after smelling it i immediately pulled out my debit card and asked for 4 oz. The first time i tasted it i was a little surprised, the tea can get bitter if you steep too long, and it was completely different from any tea i had ever had. after the third cup i was hooked on it. try it for yourself and see! and not to mention how good the tea makes you feel when you arent feeling too hot.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
It is a very good tea. I love it.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
i love, love, love this tea- and drink it throughout the day.
i tend to like the richer/heavier rooibos and mate teas.
the aroma is quite sweet and just amazing.
it is a strong aroma like cherry candy or cough syrup which may turn some people off.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This is a very nice tea but can turn bitter if not brewed correctly. Make sure to watch the temperature and brew time.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Very floral and romantic. Nice tea to drink on a very special night. Soothing flavors and entoxicating scent... definaly recommend.
Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This is the best White Tea I've ever had. It is very smooth and flavorful. The scent is reminiscent of Luden's Wild Cherry cough drops. I would definitely recommend this tea.
