This tea has ruined all the inexpensive grocery store bought green teas for me. Now they're all swill compaired to this. It has a light taste that smells of flowers. I steeped 1 tsp 5 times in one cup and the flavor keeps getting better! You have to start with 1 min. on the first steeping, then add a min. to each steeping after that. It's expensive up front, but what other tea can you re-steep all day?

I just love this tea, it's perfect by it's self if you don't like the fruity flavors. But if you like fruit flavor & mix it with Rooibos tropica or berry bliss it is completely divine! Very smooth and refreshing!

This is a great tea if you make it right. If you steep it too long or at the wrong temp it's going to be bitter and over powering. Best way I found was to mix it with over teas that I enjoy. If drinking just this alone, I steep it for the temp givin or little lower. After 2 min I remove the tea to stop it from steeping any longer. Nice was to unwhine from a stressful day.

I would have rated this tea lower, but in fairness did not want to effect this variety's overall quality rating. Just because I didn't like it doesn't mean it's not good. This was a sip-and-learn opportunity for me, and a good one. I love, love love the aroma of this tea - like flowers! Beautiful! The thing I learned is that I do not particularly enjoy the flavor of flowers. To me, this tea tasted like soap or perfume. Those who enjoy flowery-tasting teas will probably like it, and I could sit and just sniff on a cup all day.

I was never realy a tea drinker, but about a year ago, a Teavana opened near by, and my wife stopped in to purchase some tea. They prepared some lemon berry thing, which I didn't really care for. Out of curiosity, the next time I was dragged in there, I asked for a cup of this. Not mixed with anything. I loved the tea! I now keep it at home, and drink it almost every day!! When properly brewed, you get this fantastically soothing, aromatic tea with a nice delicate taste. Raw sugar is nice with it as well, but only sparingly. I infuse twice, which is nice, since one cup doesn't usually do it for me.

My local Teavana store had samples of this tea mixed with a fruity Rooibos blend, and I went home with some of each. I stored them separately and enjoyed both the combination, and taking each individually. I typically drank this tea in the evening. I was surprised by the intensity of the jasmine aroma and the smooth flavor. I don't typically go for green teas, but this is an exceptional product that I will look for again.

This tea is sensitive. That being said, even when it's made correctly I can't drink it on its own because the jasmine is so strong. I can only drink this mixed with something else -- Wild Orange, Strawberry Lemonade, and Go Go Goji are my go-to choices for mixing this one with. You can tell it's really high quality though because of the pearl form and smooth body, so I keep it around.

My mom made me this tea when I came back home to visit. At first, I found it very bitter and didn't like it at all. Then, I realized she wasn't preparing it correctly because she was just boiling the water and steeping the tea for about 5 minutes. I showed her how to correctly prepare the tea with the right water temperature and steeping time, and it was like night and day. We both sat in silence, savoring the amazing flavors of this tea. It's incredibly soothing, but also enlightening (sounds weird, but you'll have to taste it to see). When we finished drinking it, my mom said, "So that's what a perfect cup of tea tastes like." This is one of my favorite teas. I have always loved jasmine tea, and this one is perhaps the best I have ever tried. It has a strong sweet floral fragrance that takes my stress level down two notches simply by getting a whiff of the dry product.

I have tried it in the combo with strawberry lemonade, but because of how much strawberry lemonade I have to put in to get a decent cup, I now just drink them separately.

This tea has a heavenly scent while steeping. I was a little off put when I first received the product since the scent was a tad sterile. Everything really comes to life during steeping though.

The first and second infusions were great. The third was acceptable but a little bitter. The taste is very light however not watery in the slightest. You feel really good drinking this tea. The aroma stays with you after drinking.

I'll be honest, green tea is my least favorite tea. However, I make an exception for this one. The amazing scent of jasmine in this tea has charmed me. Granted, I've only had it blended with other teas (goes best with strawberry flavors, IMO), so take that as you will. It lends a wonderful bouquet to a brew, and the lingering taste (which lasts a very long time!) isn't fake or perfume-y. Doesn't have that grassy taste I expect with green teas, and for that, it's one of my go-to's for blending.

Jasmine green tea is perfect to relax with after a long day. I think I like the smell better than the flavor! Not as earthy as some other green teas out there, but can seem bitter if steeped too long. If you love jasmine, you will adore this tea! This is one of the first three teas I've gotten from Teavana. I am so glad I gave it a try! It is fantastic! The flavor is distinct but not overpowering. It has an honey undertone when brewed correctly. I can also get 2-3 steeps out of it, making it a bit more economical. The ingredients are extremely high in quality, and you can really taste the difference.

The more I drink this tea, the more I love it. Each steeping is a slightly different experience, and they have all been wonderful so far. While I enjoyed the other two teas I got from Teavana, this is the only one that will become a staple in my cabinet! It is one of the best teas I have tasted---EVER. For anyone interested in a full jasmine tea experience, look no further. I have been a fanatic of jasmine scented teas since I was a child and I have yet to try one better than the Jasmine Dragon Pearls.
Things to note: *VERY sensitive to steeping time. Going over 2 minutes may render a bitter brew.
*When steeped properly it will have a very distinctive and pronounced Jasmine aroma & flavor (although I would not say the flavor is overpowering like others have commented on, after all, this is Jasmine scented tea and it should taste like Jasmine).
This is one of my all time favorite teas. I assure anyone who likes the taste of Jasmine in their brew, will fall in love with this.

This is a beautiful tea with a wonderful fragrance. It's a bit expensive, but the quality is excellent. I was able to steep twice and both cups were very flavorful. Having said that, I think I may like this better blended with other flavors and intend to experiment with that. I just finished my first mug of this and it was GREAT! Wow! I haven't had a jasmine that smooth in a very long time. Usually I over steep everything because I love strong tea BUT I know jasmines can get bitter if not steeped properly so I timed it and it came out perfect once it cooled down a touch. It was actually strangely flat when it was piping hot but the more it cooled off the more floral it got. By the time it was lukewarm I had reached "teavana". I usually sweeten the daylights out of my tea as well but I found this only needed about 1/2 tsp of german rock sugar. I can't wait to try it iced.

BUT, then I went to Teavana to buy fresh pearls, and oh wow!

The tea is crisp and clean, and reminds me of walking down the street past the neighbor with the night-blooming jasmine on his fence, and the fresh air. By "clean", I mean that it's almost like a jasmine tea perfume when you inhale as you drink - no bitterness, and a nice finish that stays in your nose. The green has an earthy flavor, but not the 'seaweed' note that I get from certain greens (which I don't care for). In that way, this is more like a white tea than green.

Gorgeous tea with multiple infusions, highly recommended.

I enjoy this tea tremendously, especially blended with the Rooibos Tropica. That combination is so addictive that I've already had 4 pots today! This tea is very soothing, calm, and puts you in a good state of mind and for me, a long overdue sense of relaxation and well-being. In other words, "Teavana" My only qualm is that the instructions for this blend says 1 tsp and 2 min steeping time at 175 degrees. This is wrong. It should be 1.5 - 2 tsp steeped at about 5-6 min @ 208 degrees F and the infuser with the leaves should be removed immediately from the pot if there are leftovers after pouring b/c it will become bitter quickly. And, German Rock sugar is highly recommended b/c it does not overpower the subtle notes of the tea.
Overall, Better than wine! (and that's saying a lot!) :)

I usually stick to black teas, but this was wonderful! It's on the weak side, so I use some extra pearls and allow it to steep for at least five minutes. I love jasmine, and this tea is all about the jasmine. It's wonderful. Nothing beats the aroma. It is delicious brewed on its own, but the jasmine is not subtle. If you want a very strong jasmine flavor, this is definitely your tea. Although I thoroughly enjoy it on its own, my favorite thing to do with this tea is blend it with other favorites. Nothing beats a soft jasmine note in a tea you already enjoy. I enjoy it with Blueberry Bliss and in Eastern Beauty. I also sampled it in the store with Youthberry, and that was delicious. I add the Jasmine Dragon Pearls to almost every tea I drink.

I steep this tea three times. The first time is strong jasmine, the second is more subtle, the third is a hint. I add the last steeping to what ever tea I have in the fridge (which I purposely brew strong for this very reason).

This is my favorite jasmine tea. I have tried several loose and blooming jasmines, and this is the best because it has no "filler" flavors. Just tea and jasmine. I added a few extra pearls to my brew because I like it a little stronger than recommended (it tasted like flower water with my first try). Once I found my preferred strength, the floral came through on the end and I was happy. I usually get two good brews out of the pearls, and chill the remaining pot and enjoy it just as much as the hot.

Several other reviewers have said - this tea is not for everyone. Jasmine reminds many people of perfume, personally I like that, but some people are unable to get past the scent.
With that said, to me the scent is dramatic and rich, it is honestly a very beautiful tea. It is lovely hot and divine iced - the first time I made this iced, I drank a 24 ounce glass full of this fragrant concoction in less than ten minutes it was that good. The flavor and the fragrance leave the drinker feeling relaxed and soothed, this is a very good tea. Someone has stated that they find this tea to be costly - maybe, but it is worth every penny.

Have spent years searching for a great Jasmine Tea and have never found one that lived up to my standards...UNTIL NOW!!! This was the first tea I bought at Teavana and I love it! Now, that being said it isn't for everyone. It really depends on your taste. This tea is really flowery, and not at all crisp or fruity. My fiance prefers a more fruity taste, and he does not like this tea. I always put a little honey in it, and it makes it even better. Really delicious with some milk or creamer, a couple Splendas and a sunrise. :) Also good to make when camping, it really warms you up and wakes you up! I find that you can save the "pearls" after you brew them and use them 1-2 more times - doesn't make quite as good of a tea, but good if you're intent on conserving it.

Now, I bought this tea based on the reviews here so I want to be very clear on my oppinion of this tea and its taste. I can understand why many people would like this tea, but I think its too vegetal tasting and I've learned I do not like the taste of Jasmine. One review put it, that it reminded her of the tea you get at a Chinese Restraunt (which was a very good comparison). I just wished that I would have listened b/c I, on the otherhand, do NOT like that kind of tea. I have found that if I mix this with a rooibos tea (peach and tropica are my favorites!) then its not so bad, but the Jasmine always overpowers the taste. I gave it a higher rating though, b/c I think it is of good quality and I can see why most would like this. If your like me, and you like the fruity teas or traditional black tea...I wouldn't recommend this.

If I were to describe the flavor of this tea, I would say that it's similar to the kind that they serve at Chinese restaurants- and I mean that in the best possible way, because I love the tea they serve there. My husband bought this for us to try for Sweetest Day and we LOVE it! I brewed it in a Yixing pot we bought here as well. I might have brewed it too hot or too long but it left a slightly bitter aftertaste. Other than that it was awesome! This is my absolute favorite tea! It is very smooth and soothing and is a must for the jasmine lover out there. It has a natural sweet taste to it and if you add 1tsp of German rock sugar to it, it enhances that sweet flavor and really sets the tea off. Mixes well with fruit flavored rooibos teas as well.

This is a wonderful tea. The jasmine flavor is strong and distinctive without ever getting stringent. I got this originally to mix with tropical roobios but it is so wonderful on it's own plus compliments many other teas you'd like to blend it with. Dont use to hot of water, it is sensitive to it and it will burn leaves which will make it taste "off". It is definitely worth the price!

This tea is traditionaly my favorite. I have read some of the bad reviews on it and all I have to say are these few comments:

1. For those who find it too weak; brew it longer. It has multiple infusions (thus the pearl) so just steep it until you are satisfied.

2. For those who burn it; use two to three icecubes before pouring boiling water on it.

3. For those who think it smells of flowers other than jasmine; They dry the leaves with Jasmine blossoms eight to ten times to allow the leaves to absorb the smell, then they roll jasmine in the pearl. That is about as jasmine scented as you can get. Sounds pretty straight forward.

I tried a number of different brands of Jasmine Green tea until I discovered Teavana's Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls and now I drink nothing but. I bought some for my daughter, who used to drink a popular brand of black tea and now she is hooked also. The last time I visited my mother (who is 86) I took a couple of packages with me. At least once every day I was there, she would ask "Are you going to make some of that tea pretty soon?" Now I order enough for myself, my daughter and my mother. I might add, I had a heart attack 5 years ago and was told to quit drinking coffee unless it was decaf. I already knew what a great antioxident green tea was, so by accident, I bought some Jasmine Green and ever since, it has totally taken away my desire for coffee. Sometimes I add a tiny bit of Green Tea Heaven, along with some 'Brown Crystal Sugar' and it makes a great combination.

This is one of the first teas that introduced my to Teavana, and is certainly my favorite. While it puts on a good show while infusing, as the pearls unfurl, the flavor is even better. This is not a typical green tea - I would have guessed that it was a white tea if I hadn't known what it was. It can be infused multiple times, more than offsetting the cost, and is great for introducing people to flavored or premium teas.

I drink this tea in the evening to relax. It has a great floral aroma and isn't bitter at all if brewed correctly. Steep for 1 minute at about 175-180f to get a perfect cup.

By far,my most favorite tea. I discovered the Jasmine-green pearl tea a couple of years ago and I've been addicted ever since. Occasionally I try other teas, but I always go back to the Jasmine pearls.

My girlfriend took me to a Teavana store and this was the first one I tasted. I was immediately hooked. This, along with the Tropica was one of my first purchases. Now I've bought more, including the contraction to heat water (LOL).

I made some for my brother who had a sore throat (and doesn't like tea)and now he almost begs me to make it.

I just love opening the canister sometimes and smelling it...but the aroma (which comes first)and taste is best (with a little honey.)

Wonderful aroma remeniscent to Earl Grey and Hawaiian pikake flower. Enjoyed morning before work and evening after shower. Be careful to remember the steep time as it can prove too strong and bitter if left unattended. Have resteeped 4x and applied 10seconds more at each resteeep.

This Green tea with its great aroma would certainly relax your facial nerves and remove all the stress that you feel in your forehead.
The aroma is exceptional. don't leave it to steep longer than the recommended time as it will taste bitter. some of my friends like it bitter though.
just follow the instructions and make sure you use a steeper that will preserve the heat as this one might loose its heat very easily. I use Teavana perfect tea maker.

Don't allow this tea to over-steep, as it becomes bitter very easily. It's surprising how much tea unfurls from the little pearls, so start with a few, and add more as necessary as they rehydrate.

I use a plunger pot and mix rooibos tropica and jasimine dragon phoenix pearls 50/50. approximately 2 tbsp (more is heavenly, but this will do) for a quart water. Brew 5 minutes or less, but at least 2 for best flavor.

When done properly, this tea is delicious, light, fragrant, and relaxing. Oh, and beautiful and fun to watch unfurl!

Remember, it only takes about a minute to steep. Otherwise, it almost tastes like perfume (which is not a good thing). Also, it burns easily and is undrinkably bitter when burnt! If your water is at a rolling boil, then it's too hot!

This has to be one of the absolute best teas that I have tried. I take half Dragon Phoenix pearls and half of the rooibos tropica and mix them together and WOW! This is a must try. It has become one of my very favorite teas and I drink this one all of the time!

This used to be my favorite tea. It smells and tastes great, and is easy to make. I foudn other teas that have more health benefits (matcha and silver needle) and jasmine oolong is less prone to burning and turning bitter. Still, this is a great green tea that is fun to make.

This tea is easy to transport when traveling, not messy and can just be dropped in your tea cup for multiple cups of tea. I have introduced this to a younger fellow who insured that we never missed our 3:00 tea time. Its fun to watch it unfurl. The aroma is uplifting as is the tea itself.
