These tins are a must have if you are to keep your tea tasting fresh. Forget the plastic bags you previously stored your tea leaves in. These tins are very stylish and you can keep them either in your cupboard or on your counter. They will keep your tea fresh for up to one year. I know this to be true because my tea ended up sitting for about a year before I drank it because I had moved multiple times throughout the year and had forgotten to unpack it. A year later, the tea was still fresh as ever due to being preserved in these tins. I have one tin each for all my favorite teas that I drink regularly. The smaller canisters work very well, too.

I use my xl tin to keep my silver needle white tea. I buy loads of this tea so I bit the bullet bought alot at once as we drink it so much. It is a fuller not rolled leaf so takes up more space. This time is perfect for this as you get lots in the tin and do not pack it in tight so as not to crush the leaves. With silver needle White it wil hold about 6 to 7 ounces at full capacity not packed or pressed in it.
