I got this for my Dad last year for Father's day, and he LOVES it. He uses it twice a day at work, letting it steep at his desk so his co-workers can walk by and be impressed. I had to buy him his own set of tins so he would stop stealing mine to keep his own set of tea at work.

I love the simplicity of this steeper. I just started drinking tea because of a sample I tried at Teavana. This steeper was presented as a reasonable cost and easy to use tea preparer and it certainly has been that.

I absolutely love my Perfect Tea Steeper! I use it several times a day, and its so simple to use. I have had NO issues with cleaning this or with tea leaves escaping into my mug. The only thing that disappointed me was trying to make blooming tea in it. There's not enough height for the blooming teas to fully expand, but I need to get one of the tall glass cylinders when I want to enjoy the beauty of the Peach Blooming tea.

I have five tea presses (four are one-mug sized) and a number of one-cup makers from various manufacturers, brought this one home and it immediately relegated the others to the shelf. Easy to use, sharp-looking, brews a great cup of tea, and you get the tea from the bottom of the brew, so full strength without stirring! And it is fun--friends' daughters kept giggling whenever I filled their cups from it. What a great idea, brilliantly executed.

This product is incredible. You just add tea and water, steep, and press over a mug to release. No leaves and easy to clean. The steeper is perfectly clear and you can watch the beautiful leaves unfurl as they steep. It's stylish, too--it looks like a little teapot. I use this many times a day. Absolutely love it.

I just received the Tea Steeper as a birthday present and I love it. I put my tea in, let it steep and then put it over my favorite mug for the water to pour through. The seal is perfect so that when it's not on the mug there is no water leakage and the little drip tray is great for standing it back down afterwards. I'm going to buy one of these for my friend's birthday now!

I ADORE this product! It's ideal for one or two servings, I can use it at home or at work and have quality tea a lot more often than I used to be able to. Not all cup sizes fit it perfectly, but you can place it over the top of any cup and only press down on half of it so it can still drip into your cup. It's easy to clean, easy to use and I've never had tea leaf particles escape into my tea. It's perfect! Great gift idea also.

This is a wonderful product. Not only can I mix my teas the way I like, but it is easy to clean. I have put mine in the dishwasher several times and it comes out brand new! Although others have commented that it doesn't fit all tea cups/mugs, I find it is easy to use with every mug/cup/glass I use. You simply have to pay attention when draining the tea into a cup. I have even used it to fill my large travel mugs. And nary a tea leaf in my tea! Fabulous!

Just got the Tea Steeper and I have used it to steep different teas: green, oolong, rooibos, herbal, white, etc. No tea leaves in my cup yet!
As the box says it fits UP to 3 1/4 inch diameter so your cup does NOT have t be exactly that size, good thing!
It's easy to use for 1-2 cups, easy to reuse and easy to clean (the strainer pops out!). Seems much more handy than the Perfect Tea Makers that I was looking at.
Do NOTE, as another reviewer mentioned, it DOES NOT GO with the Perfect Tea Cup. My salesperson SAID it did, I asked her to show me, and it DID NOT. Just use a cup/tumbler you already have at home...
Great buy!

If it all possible, I would have liked to have known prior to purchase which
tea cups or mugs sold here are appropriate to use with this steeper. It would be helpful to list them on this website so people like me could order nice
cups and know in advance that they'd work. I find I only own
one tea cup that works with this steeper and it didn't hold as much liquid
as my steeper did...and tea overflowed all over my counter.

But I do like the steeper in its functionality a lot. Now I'm on a search for the perfect tea cup that will work with this.

hello everyone,I really recommend buying this tea maker for several good reasons. This tea maker is really easy to use, the mesh filter is removable and easy to clean (most importantly it is now metal fabric, not plastic anymore), and most important of all, it is made in Taiwan, which promises great quality!

I use this tea steeper everyday and have loved it from the second it came out of the box. It's so easy to use and I like that I can easily create my own blends by adding a pinch of this or that. The large opening makes it easy to fill with hot water even at work. It does stain easily but I have found that if I soak it with a little dish soap it comes clean pretty easily. The fact that the filter is removable was the determining factor as to why I chose this one over some of the other tea makers.

I use my steeper nearly everyday. I bought this about 18 months ago and have no complaints. It works great every time I use it. I use my steeper to heat the water in the microwave and then add my loose tea. The item description now says not to use it in the microwave, but I swear when i bought mine that was one of the advantages to getting this particular steeper!

The 1st tea infuser I got several years ago is still the best - easiest to use & easiest to clean. That was similar to the stainless steel infuser offered on Teavana's site, but has a lid to keep the water warm while the tea is steeping, which you remove and sit the infuser in after removing it from the cup to hold any drips. I wish Teavana still carried this model - I'm going to go elsewhere to get another like that.

I purchased ths product two years ago, right before I moved to a new state. I'll admit, I kept it in the box and during unpacking stuck the box on the shelf and forgot about it. Fast forward 8 months when I was cleaning out said shelf and decided I was going to use this gadget or give it away. So I took it out of the box and from the first use, I was hooked!!

Now, I recommend this to ALL of my tea drinking friends, because it is fabulous! I like to buy lots of loose herbal teas and mix them. This easy tea steeper makes my mixing habits so easy because I can just add a teaspoon of this and a teaspoon of that, pour in hot water and after a few minutes steeping, Enjoy! One of my fave blends is Teavana Strawberry Kiwi and dried spearmint leaves (you can dry your own or buy them).

The only part that I don't like, is that the unit itself is easy to clean, but the mesh filter can retain color and its hard to get the color out.

I have not tried placing the unit in the microwave or the dishwasher. Its easy enough to clean out with eco-dish soap and water or a little vinegar/water solution.

I HIGHLY Recommend this product. If you are a tea drinker or you know someone who is a tea drinker, take the chance, you will love this little steeper.

I LOVE this product! The plastic & mesh do stain after only a few uses, but it doesn't keep it from doing an amazing job. If you add honey to your tea, straining it with the tea mixes it perfectly :o)

this is an awesome product. It all comes apart easily and can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand. I've had mine for over 3 years and it's still working great. We actually bought 2...one for me and one for my husband.

I absolutely love this steeper! The ONLY bad thing is that I can barely get two glasses of iced tea out of it because it absolutely does not hold 18 ounces of water. Other than needing to get the bigger, more expensive steeper to make enough iced tea for two, I still love this for those one glasses. HIGHLY Recommend

This is the third Teavana steeper I've purhased, and the best of all three. I am able to remove the filter, and clean out the tiny tea or rooibos bits that go through. My other two steepers do not have removable filters, and they have tea/rooibos remnants between the filter and bottom of the steeper. This can't be too good for the flavor of my tea.

I bought this as a Christmas gift with a tin of tea and the glass Teavana "Perfect Tea Mug". To my unexpected disdain, the steeper didn't fit on the mug when my friend went to use it. I was really upset that no one told me this when I bought them. So beware! These two items don't go together!

Teavana teas which were gifts. It is easy to steep

I adore this steeper, it's super easy to use, and it's fun to watch how the the tea leaves unfurl as it steeps, especially the six sumitts oolong. Nice to see the gradual change in color from different teas. If you're in an office at work, this would be great to use, cleans easy too, I rinse out leaves right away to prevent staining. Unlike the other infuser, this strainer pops out to clean if needed,though I usually don't need to do that. I'm giving these as gifts for Christmas, everyone that sees it work is just amazed, what a great invention!!

This product is used at least twice if not three or four times a day (we really need to invest in another one) and have to say it really does produce a perfect cup of tea every time. "Perfect" in the sense that for those of us who enjoy loose tea, none of the loose tea transfers into the mug after steeping. It's easy to use, dishwasher safe, and the infuser is removable for more thorough cleaning.

Only one qualm: compared to Teavana's other two steepers, this one is very round. Much prefer the long, angular look.
