I love this one. I am a fan of anything ginger, so this was recommended to me by the person at my local Teavana. I have it mixed half and half with the Monkey Picked Oolong, which makes for a great after-dinner tea. The ginger and oolong help to soothe the stomach. I feel like it might be a bit overpowering if not mixed with the oolong, but the flavor is really delicious.

Who ever came up with this tea blend is pure genius! Just the smell alone should be illegal its so good! Its the kind of smell that brings back memories. It's taste is a perfect blend if you're a coconut lover. I have not tried every Teavana tea, but I have tried more then half, and this is by FAR my favorite. I think its even better with sugar, because I can taste more of everything individually. But that is just preference. It taste good with out sugar as well. HIGHLY SUGGESTED!

Words cannot sufficiently describe how much I enjoy this tea. First the aroma will draw you in. Though it does have pepper in it, the coconut and ginger stand out as the top players. When brewed the color is a lovely deep purply-red. And then the best part....the taste. It has distinct overtones of ginger and coconut that meld beautifully together with undertones of the pepper that will linger later (but not spicy hot kind of pepper, a warm your tummy kind of pepper).

This tea is surprisingly sweet on it's own and even for people who are avid about adding sugar or honey may find that they don't need any at all. Personally I don't put any sweeteners in any of my teas.

LOVE IT AND DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!

I concocted this blend at my Teavana store-in Mishawaka, IN (where I work) when a customer asked about a Thai tea...I started pulling things out, and behold...a wonderful drink blossomed...soon turned into an epidemic for a good week with the staff and customers! I would never have bought this tea if I had smelled the leaves. It smells way too strong before being brewed. But that's what makes it work. It's a very rich, delicious flavor that isn't too sweet (although it is sweet). This one was given to me as a gift and pleasantly surprised me - it's now one of my favorites. I used to long for the days when I could find a Dairy Queen so that I could get one of their Hawiian blizzards. Those days are now over! When I picked this tea up I thought that it was going to be very powerful with the coconut and that it would take the edge off of my cravings for the blizzards I used to get. Not only has it cured my cravings for the blizzard, it has replaced my old favorite treat with something wonderful and new. As I took my first sip I was amazed by how the flavors danced across my tongue and was then having a party inside my mouth. I look forward to trying this one again and again.

I love tea of most sorts. I love Tevana. I think the idea of blends and brewing different teas together is a really great one.

Unfortunately, this tea falls short.

In fairness I wanted a rooibos tea for the health benefits but don't much like plain unadorned rooibos.

I figured Tevana would have a solution to make rooibos tea more palatable. So I asked at the store and was told this was one of the most popular teas, regardless of type of tea at the base.

How could so many be so wrong I thought? Well, I'm here to tell you that many customers can be wrong.

I believe one of the reasons tea drinkers drink tea as opposed to the 'other hot drink' is because it is lighter, clearer tasting, more refreshing than the heavy acidity, heavy oily residue from the beans and a sometimes overpowering flavor of a coffee's roast. That is why people put a milk product in the brew, to tone it down, mask the bitterness. But then, the bevarage becomes creamy - and heavy in another way.

Not so with tea, even tea with milk in it can still hold its refreshing nature.

This tea however has taken creamy to new heights and not in a good way. It really doesn't taste like tea, the creaminess becomes ploying, and in my opinion unattractively so.

I called the store and told them of my concerns, they suggested I brew this with a stong black tea. If a very small amount is brewed with black tea, it is a drinkable beverage.

So it worked to salvage the money I spent on tea I thought I'd have to discard. But I won't ever make the mistake of buying this again.

The one thing the coconut and other flavors did do was successfully disguise and mask the rooibos, but that was not enough of a benefit to say I actually like this tea, for it really doesn't have a tea taste or texture at all.

This tea is amazing! I tried it on a recommendation from a Teavana associate, and although I was unsure, I absolutely love it! I pair it with My Morning Mate, and it gives my morning cup of tea life! The ginger and coconut are apparent, and although it has a little spice to it, it is completely different from the flavor of the Chai teas. I do add cream, and occasionally a little bit of rock sugar, and it is delicious hot or iced. This is my morning cup of "coffee", and I cannot think of a better way to begin my day.

I just found teavana about a month ago and this tea is my favorite. If you like chai spice teas then you will love this. The coconut flavor adds a smoothness and an aftertaste that is like biting into coconut cream pie but is not overpowering. I am new at the whole Tevana. I wanted a fruity tea without caffeine so I could enjoy it anytime. This tea has a bit of a spicy kick to it with the ginger but I found it to be a very nice, enjoyable tea. You can taste the coconut slighty but the ginger does over power it just a little. I add just a little of regular old honey and I am good to go. So far it's one of my favorites I have tried. It does remind me of the chai tea but this one has a completely different spice flavor to it. Enjoy!

This tea has a very bold unique flavor - spicy, creamy, and nutty - it will tickle your taste buds and leave your tongue tingling. With ginger and pepper, it has a kick. The coconut and almonds blend to give it a slight Amaretto aftertaste.

While I didn't add sweetener, I'm guessing that a light sweetening would take this tea from a great anytime beverage to a delightful dessert tea.

For those who like bold and unique, this for you.

I was reluctant to try this tea because I am not a fan of coconut by any means, but I'm glad I didn't let that stop me! This tea does not taste like ginger or coconut to me - it doesn't have that bitter ginger taste. It smells wonderful and has a complex, spicy taste that's also a little sweet, too. Perfect for a crisp autumn day. Add a splash of vanilla creme to really bring out the flavor if you want, but it's perfect just on its own!

I have a hard time explaining this tea. My guru, John, suggested this blend to me (Zingiber Ginger Coconut and Peach Tranquility). At first sip I didn't like it but after I let the ice melt a little more and "lightened it up" it was soooo good. It will not replace my Bangkok Life but it is still very good. If you like to bake this tea is for you! I work at a Teavana, go to culinary school, and love love love to bake with as many Teavana teas as I can. This tea added to the milk for a pastry cream or spice cake is so amazing. All Teavana are so fun to bake with and the Raz Riot Mate tea is great in a dark chocolate truffle.

The aroma of this tea reminds me of vanilla yogurt, which isn't necessarily a good thing. The flavors are strange all together. The ingredients would make it seem like they'd be good, but it's a bit sickening to me. I had hesitated to try this tea for so long. Cannot even imagine why now! I love this tea. I agree that the coconut pieces are a little large, but I'm getting used to that. I mix it with My Morning Mate, Matevana, and the Rooibos Sweet Amore in the mornings. It's also good with Honeybush Vanilla. It's also great for curing a sweet craving at night. This could be one of Teavana's best. Coconut and Black Pepper with Ginger- who knew? I was eager to try this because I adore Chai spice teas. As I took a whiff of it, it had a great smell, so I tried a cup at the store. I had my first sip, and I knew it was going to be my favorite. I only ordered it lightly sweetened, and it still had a full, sweet flavor to it. The next time I went, I ordered some in loose leaf and steeped it for about 6 minutes, and it was just as perfect. This tea is easily one of the most pleasing tastes that I was lucky enough to experience.

Note: I'm making the tea as I write this!
As I open the bag, I get a huge waft of coconut and a distinctive smell I can't put my finger on. I then realize it's that cherry smell that lingers around with almond paste or pure almond extract.(No amount of chemical tampering could create that lovely aroma!) Although a little harsh, the scent calms down as the tea steeps. Now, six minutes later, I'm in HEAVEN!!!!
My only complaints are: it's a little weak (but that's my own mistake; I added too much water) and the pieces of coconut are a little large. This makes it a little difficult to get the right amount of each of the ingredients. But that's no biggie! ;D The perfect food pairings: a fresh-baked almond croissant (forgive me if I misspelled it!) or an oatmeal cookie! And when you've gotten as much as you could out of it, don't toss it, unless you're tossing it into your compost pile! ;D

I purchased this tea because I fell head over heels in love with the Rooibos Chai, and thought this would be a good compliment to that....Sadly mistaken. I believe the tea tastes good, except I can't get passed the artificial smell. This is a flavored tea (found out the hard way). This smell is like an artificial cherry which doesn't correlate to any of the ingredients. I wanted so badly to like this tea since I love all the ingredients. Tea is 50% aroma to me, and I just can't get passed the smell.

I just found Teavana at the Mall of America....my wallet will never be full again! My DH and I fell in love with the "sample" tea which was a blend. We bought that one, but I wanted another one to take home, too. When the counter person let me get a whiff of this one, I was in love! Once I got home and tried it...I was truly hooked! It's good by itself, but my dear grandmother had gotten me hooked on a little cream and sugar or honey with my tea. Once I added that...the love affair began and I've enjoyed every single cup since. I really like the combo once the cup has cooled, too, so I know I'll love it as a summer cold latte, too! I think it will be a nice addition to combine with other teas, too. I've had a canister of this sitting in my pantry for a year. It's just not my favorite. I do not prefer spicy teas (although I eat spicy foods all the time). I brought this tea to my sister in law's house when I went there to babysit the kids. My 3 year old nephew is now obsessed with it. He literally followed the smell around the kitchen until he found the cup I was holding and asked for a sip. Amazing tea. Having my 2nd glass right now. I tried this tea as it was a suggested replacement for the now-discontinued Pacific Sunrise Roosibos (which I loved!). I may actually like this tea better! Okay - if i had to design my own tea that describes what I think of my own personality - this would be it, hands down. Alluring scent, subtley spiced, well balanced with hearty comfort driven flavor, addictive and at its best when treated with sweetness.

There isnt a way to over steep this in my opinion. I bought this tea in an assortment I collected in a maiden trip to Teavana. With the German Rock Cane sugar, every sip of this tea helps you to take a break from reality or - is like a hug to help you deal with it.

Of all the teas I bought bags of (11 to be exact), this one has been depleted the greatest. It is not heavy but the blending of ginger and coconut is well constructed with each cup.
If you must choose a first tea or if you must only choose one Roobios, then this must be your pick.

This tea is so flavorful and unique! My 8 year old daughter even loves it for desert or an after school treat! I also enjoy mixing it with my favorite Samurai Chai Mate. In my perfect tea maker I mix 3 scoops of Samurai Chai Mate with one scoop of Zingiber Ginger Coconut Rooibos. Such a wonderful mix of flavor for my afternoon pick me up!

YUMMO! One of my new favorites! This tea has a wonderful smell, but not a kick-your-face-in type smell like some of my other favorites. The reviews noted that it was spicy, but in my opinion there are a lot more spicier flavors Teavana makes. I get a VERY light undertone of the pepper and ginger while drinking it, and a slightly spicier aftertaste. So if you are not a fan of the real spicy stuff, like the flavors with a lot of cinnamon (or just the mentioning of pepper), I would definitely not knock it. It is very soothing, malty, easy to drink, and the coconut adds a nice creamy taste.

I love this tea. The flavor is wonderful. I haven't yet drank this tea by itself, but it is wonderful with Monkey picked oolong and Golden Monkey black tea. I can't imagine that it isn't just as great by itself. This tea is a must.

This one smells even better brewed than it did at the store. The ginger and pepper make for a nice caffeine-free pick me up while the top notes of the woody her and coconut really make for a delightful experience.

The only drawback for me is that my other half is not as big a fan.

This has to be the best tea available through Teavana. The blend of coconut, ginger, almonds and spices are such a perfect harmony of flavors; you will be craving for more. Its excellent hot or cold. Makes a fantastic solo ice tea and mixes superbly with Azteca Fire, Rooibos Orange, Pina Colada or Taraco Ruby Orange. I've served it to family and friends, and always have raving comments how delicious it tastes. Something about this tea... it has an overpowering flavor of, I don't know what. To me, it didn't taste as good as I thought, I may have liked it better if the flavor was more subtle. I think it is better iced than hot, but I think it's because it takes the edge off. Other people seem to like this tea based on the reviews, but it is simply not my thing.

I love to have this tea mixed with the Spice of Life white tea every morning! It is a heavenly combination and I encourage you to try it.
