For a person just wanting a nice flavored tea that I do not have to add any sugar to it and still get a smooth flavor...this tea is it!
Comments about Teavana Vanilla Rooibos Tea:
I'm a huge vanilla fan, but this didn't really taste like vanilla to me. A very bold and strong almost black tea-like taste (so if you like black teas, you might like this. I'm not a black tea fan).
Comments about Teavana Vanilla Rooibos Tea:
I'm a huge fan of this flavor. I've already mixed it with several other teas as well as trying it alone. This is such a universal flavor that it can only enhance other teas, or be enjoyed by itself.
I've mixed it with "Mate Vana" and "Plum Harvest" and I wasn't left disappointed one bit. I recommend trying it mixed.

I'm so sad they discontinues this! buy it while you can folks! I's great to blend with other teas and cuts down on the tartness of a lot of my favorites.
Comments about Teavana Vanilla Rooibos Tea:
I agree with previous posters that out of the can/bag this tea certainly has a nose reminiscent of tobacco - which is not represented (thankfully, to me) in the brewed tea. The notes of vanilla play well and it is indeed a nice strong tea and represents rooibos well. A nice way to get into this particular type of tea for the novice.

This is my favorite Teavana tea. When I first brewed it, the aroma reminded me of cough syrup, but I've gotten used to it. I love it with breakfast. It has a wonderful color and a smooth feel.

I loved this the vanilla/caramel mix is perfect for someone like me who is trying to cut out their coffee addiction.
Comments about Teavana Vanilla Rooibos Tea:
Not bad, just different. What to say... When I first got this tea, the smell took awhile to identify, but finally I decided that it reminded me of pipe tobacco. I love the smell, just not sure I want to smell it while I'm drinking something. I have gotten used to this tea and I think it's best slightly sweetened. As a matter of fact I'm thinking, because of the vanilla flavor that it might be useful in flavoring homemade ice cream.
Comments about Teavana Vanilla Rooibos Tea:
delightful year round blend that goes well with almost anything.

Comments about Teavana Vanilla Rooibos Tea:
This was one of the best teas I have ever had. It was great in the morning and in the evening as well. It was also a good tea for mixing with some of the other roobios teas, like the orange. Making a orange-cream flavor. It is a great stand alone or a base for other flavors. Plus it makes excellent iced tea. It's sweet enough that you don't need additional sweeteners, which is always a good thing. My friends thought that it's "health benefit" worked entirely TOO well (it can help keep your system running smoothly.) But I am on medication that sometimes keeps things backed up for days, however for me, when I drink this tea, I am no longer having issues with that anymore. It's one of my favorite teas, not just for drinking but also for using the tea itself in flavoring other things.
I recently made some chocolate truffles and while heating the cream, I used the tea to flavor it. There was a fruity, spicy flavor imparted to the cream from both the tea leaves and the vanilla beans. I just poured the cream through a strainer and into my chocolate so to mix up my ganache. When everyone ate the truffles later they were a big hit but no one could guess what the added flavor profile was, they just knew that they liked it.
I have also used the tea in making a rub for certain meats, along with additional spices: cocoa/chili powder, cumin, allspice and fresh herbs: garlic, cilantro, mint, lemongrass, and lime leaves and a few other things and all of this was blended together to make a paste, with some added citrus juice and a can of cheerwine and I use it on chicken as well as other meats for both baking and grilling out. Its a delightful sweet profile to the spiciness of the rest. Something everyone can enjoy.
Tea is not just for drinking anymore.

Comments about Teavana Vanilla Rooibos Tea:
My absolute favorite brand of Teavana tea is Mate Vana and I was looking for something similar so that I can switch up from time to time. This tea is very close to the Mate Vana. It is rich and smooth and since it is caffeine free it is great to drink before bedtime or any other time you want to mellow out a bit. It is great alone or with a little cream for an even smoother taste.

Comments about Teavana Vanilla Rooibos Tea:
This is a wonderful tea. By itself it is especially soothing during stressful times, as the naturally caffeine-free rooibos is very smooth and delicious. The vanilla adds just enough flavor -- it's not overpowering at all, and it tastes great. This is PERFECT for mixing with other teas that are great for sweetening -- I'm drinking a blend with one tablespoon of this and half of Teavana's Almond Biscotti flavored black tea. I may try this tea later to help round out the flavors of bagged tea, but I haven't tried it yet. All in all, a great tea, especially if you like as few extra ingredients as possible.
I did mention an "odd scent" as the only con of this tea. My tea smells vaguely like apples to me. It's not a bad scent, and is likely just due to the fact that it got accidentally left in a hot car one afternoon, but it is fairly strong in the tin. During and after steeping, though, this goes away.
