Comments about Teavana Pu-Erh Organic Tea:

I've tried it hot and cold and enjoyed it equally both ways. It has a straight forward taste, not fruity or sweet in any way. Reminds me of our traditional grocery store orange pekoe teas, but much better.

Comments about Teavana Pu-Erh Organic Tea:

i got this because it was a very popular tea and decided to give it a try. honestly it is one of the worst things i have ever tasted. it tasted like i drank straight old man essence, very earthy and bitter taste. even with excessive sugar, honey, and lemon i couldnt finnish one cup. maybe my pallet isnt "developed" but most of the other teas i have tried from teavana i have loved but this one has been tossed on the bottom shelf

Comments about Teavana Pu-Erh Organic Tea:

The first time i tried this tea, I had the bag of loose leaf tea in hand, and a cup of hot water. I didn't have any sort of infuser, as I had walked over to a bookstore to sit around. I simply tossed some leaves in to the water to let them steep continually. I found that no matter how long those leaves had steeped, the tea did not become bitter. I was pleasantly surprised.
This tea is very bold and strong tasting, with a slightly musty and leathery smell. Generally, if you arent used to things with a musty taste and smell to them, you might not like this tea. I decided to try it in order to get away from the lighter cups of tea, and try something that had some intensity to it. Believe you me, this tea can be brewed to be as black as coffee, and it can be very intense. The only downside I can really think of is the lack of any sort of recognizable "tea" flavor.

Comments about Teavana Pu-Erh Organic Tea:

I have had this tea numerous times, and found that it is very filling, as Brett has said. However, I did find that it is a very down-to-earth tea -- I like that because I'm a very down-to-earth kind of guy myself.

The tea, I found, was especially good after a medium to large meal, mainly dinner. I usually feel somewhat bloated after such a meal, but with the Pu-Erh, I found that bloated feeling went away. HUGE plus for me :D

Comments about Teavana Pu-Erh Organic Tea:

It's a very grounding, 'warm' tea. Great for afternoons and before bed. It is very satisfying and filling. It is a straight, plain taste, nothing exciting. But the taste is very strong and full (the most of any tea I've ever sampled in fact. I've never been disappointed or had to add more). Thus making it easy to make and giving you a lot out of your cup. It indeed never gets bitter and is very good at multiple infusions. It's something I can drink throughout the day and never get the "to sweet" or "to flowery" feeling like with some teas after a while. It is WELL worth the 80oz price tag. I did and am glad. It's great not having to worry about rationing. I'm willing to share it as well. =)

Teavana has my devout Loyalty. You guys have the best storefronts, most knowledgeable staff, and greatest stock (and deals) I've ever seen. Hail!

(oh cool you can add a pick. I will do so. To prove my mantel so you can trust my opinion.)

Comments about Teavana Pu-Erh Organic Tea:

It wasn't too bad. Very earthy, very simple. At the end I could smell and taste something that came off to me as hay. It was still decent, nothing amazing. It did satisfy my desire for a simple, comforting, cup of tea but just didn't impress me and came off as average. It did seem to fill me up more than a regular cup, I didn't need a second or third cup to feel full.
