It is simple to use and it does work. But it would be nice if the pieces came apart for ease of cleaning and if measurements were marked on the outside.

I own 3 of these and have been very happy with them! Have a few cups of tea everyday.No thinking involved and makes a wonderful cup of tea! Cleaning is difficult at the bottom. My current issue is that they leak water while sitting on the coaster or on the counter. I am thinking that as I have had them for a number of years-that it is time for a new one???

I bought this along with some Raspberry Riot Lemon today. As soon as I got home I made some iced tea. It was so simple! But what do I do with all that tea? My pitcher isn't big enough to make 2-3 batches at once. How do I get it all out & store it?

I have tried strainers of all kinds and always ended up with tea leaves in my tea. This is PERFECT! ANY tea drinker should have one! Seeps tea perfectly without leaving a trail of tea debris!

The screen has collected gunk below it so I cannot get anything out of it but it's been of great use. We love them and we use them every day. We'll be getting something different due to the cleaning part of it, but if you continue to wash them right after you use them, there shouldn't be any issues!

I love this product and it is almost perfect. For perfection Teavana needs to make the lid removable for easier cleaning. I am a huge fan of iced tea and drink hot tea in the mornings. Making iced tea at home has been a messy process steeping tea in large cups then straining them or using lots of tea bags. This takes all of the hassle out of making iced tea. It works great for hot tea also. In the mornings the tea maker strains into my teapot and for iced tea I can put it directly into a glass or an iced tea pitcher. I put the tea in pour the hot water and set the tea timer on my iPhone. (Another great idea Teavana!) It's so easy I use it almost daily. Like I said above it would be perfect if the lid was removable so it could sit flat for cleaning and drying. **Also worked great to make iced tea quickly for a bridal shower**

I absolutely love this tea maker! Before, I would boil water, pour it over the loose leaves in a measuring cup, then pour it through a strainer with a coffee filter to make iced tea. Now, it is a one-step process. I make two 32-ounce pitchers a day with only one thing to wash!! My kids love to watch it in action. I use the 16- ounce for hot tea and it fits perfectly over Teavana's perfect tea mug. It also fits perfectly over Williams- Sonoma picardie tumblers if you want to make iced tea. The 32- ounce fits perfectly over some 32-ounce glass pitchers I already owned from [...]. This totally simplifies making tea!

I love this accessory and will say this. Everyone who has ever come to my home has immediately wanted one. In 2009 I ended up buying 9 of these as gifts and the people who received them rave to me how much they love theirs.

This makes great tea and I think it's well made. Unfortunately there is no apparent way to clean this item aside from reaching into the canister, scooping out the wet tea leaves, and throwing them into the trash. I am not going to rinse the tea leaves down the drain or it may clog. Also, I discovered that the tea maker only fits 2 out of about the 25 mugs that I own - this maker only fits mugs of a certain diameter, so be aware of that before you buy! I also wish there were volume markings on the side of the canister so I knew exactly how much tea I was brewing.

I DON'T MISS COFFEE NOW. THIS MAKES BREWING TEA QUICK AND EASY. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT DOESN'T CLEAN WELL. A MAGIC ERASER WILL CLEAN TEA FROM THE INSIDE WITHOUT SCRATCHING, BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO CLEAN UNDER THE SCREEN.

I've had this for several months. Overall I'm pleased with how it works. That said - possibly it's the type of tea I drink, but the strainer has started to look really stained. My bigger frustration is that you can't see when your cup is getting full. If you use clear glass, it's fun to use; if you use opaque mugs, transfer your tea over the sink!

Love this item. It has made drinking loose leaf tea a no fuss/no muss proposition. I only wish the infuser had lines on it. I pour my hot water into a measuring cup and then into the infuser. It would be nice if I didn't have to do that!

Makes a great cup of tea. Strains the tea better than anything else I've tried. It could be easier to clean. The lid, strainer, and other pieces should be removable to be placed in the dishwasher. Other than that, it's perfect.

Since I purchased this, I am making/enjoying various Teavana teas at work. I brew the first batch in the morning and transfer to a mason jar. From there I can decide to have hot or iced tea. The tea maker works great! I got a steal of a deal when I purchased mine brand new for 50 cents at a garage sale!!

I love this tea maker so much! I have had it for several months, and use it every day at least once if not twice or three times. Insanely easy to both use and clean. It has NEVER allowed annoying bitlets into my teacup. Flavor of tea is great.

The only thing to think through is how much tea you drink and how quickly. I have a HUGE teacup (OK, it's a mug) and the 32 oz size makes two of these. So once you brew your tea, it's still in there steeping until you drain it out. I have gotten distracted and had to discard a few pots because I didn't pour them soon enough, but my solution is to brew a full pot and put the second cup into a stainless travel mug until I'm ready for it. Works great!!! Another tiny con is that there are no ounce markings on the side, which would allow you to more easily judge when to stop pouring without overflow. But I just learned where in the pot my cup's line is, and don't go further.

Just recently I switched from coffee to tea. I heard about Teavana from my friend and I was new to loose leaf tea. Since I was new, this product helped me out a lot and it is so easy to use! I drink tea everyday now and it's just so easy to do now too! just awesome!

I look forward to making tea now that I have this great tea maker. Rather than sticking a mug in the micro, I boil my water on the stove, pour it into the tea maker and have fun watching the tea steep and drain into my mug. No more tea bags for me. This product is great and I love it.

When I received this as a present I thought it was the coolest little thing I seen in a long while. The next morning I decided to use it right away with the Jasmine Oolong tea I also received, and I wasn't disappointed: it worked like a charm.

It kept the boiling water hot during the entire steeping process, and the draining process was exactly as described. Innovative and simple to do, it took less than 5 seconds to drain the tea into my cup -- best of all, there were no loose tea leaves or fragments I had to fish out!

I am excited to begin my own loose tea collection and experience my tea the way it was meant to be. I don't think I'll ever go back to tea bags again!

I love this little instant tea maker and I own three - two 32 oz. and 1 16 oz. I take them on trips and use it daily. I wonder if they shouldn't be used in the dishwasher though because I noticed my first 32oz. tea maker has cloudy buildup around the plastic near the bottom by the wire mesh. I'm seeing the same thing happen with the second so I wonder if it's the dishwasher or harsh chemical cleaners. I have soaked them in bleach because the tea tends to stain them and that could be the problem. I love my little tea maker though and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.

I have had 2 of these tea makers which sit on my counter and are in use all day. I loved them. However, both have begun leaking after several months of use. Wish you could make one that would hold up under constant use!

I only use this size... and am thinking "who can I give my 16oz t-maker to?"

I make at least 3 pitchers of iced tea at a time.. finish them off and do it again... everyone who tries it wants one.

This is used at least 3 times a day. It is the easiest way to make tea. Even my mother, the coffee drinker, was impressed!!!
