I only tried this tea over ice, but I have to say I was not a fan. Perhaps it was the raisins or the currants, but I thought the slightly bitter aftertaste did not pair particularly well with the vegetal taste of the bamboo.
It looks beautiful, however, and I would occasionally drink it when I am in the mood for white tea. This tea does not, however, make it into my regular rotation.

Comments about Teavana Emerald Bamboo Forest White Tea:
I love this tea. Everything from its fruity scent to the beautiful red color it takes on when brewed. For those that may wonder about having beets in a tea, take a chance. The beet is subtle and adds a sweetness that doesn't overpower.

Comments about Teavana Emerald Bamboo Forest White Tea:
I think the flavor with these two teas combined is wonderful. It has a mild flavor that's just enough to wake up your tongue and senses. I disagree that it is too sweet. It is a very pleasurable tea combination. I first tried it in the mall where they were providing samples to shoppers. It had been a long day and the sample was so refreshing. I had no intention of buying tea and went back for a another sample and coudln't resist. It was so welcoming.

I honestly think this tasted like sugared Kool-Aid and I drank mine without sugar. It would be nice to get your kids drinking this even if just for the health benefits, they prob would like it, but I just wasn't feeling it. I did give three stars becuase of the quailty of ingredients, which Teavana never seems to lack.

It can be used as a base for a fruit salad.i.e. Brew a 1/3 of a cup and add to the fruit melange.(cut apples, grapes, rasins, orange slices, peaches, rasberries, and seasonal fruits as appropriate. Stir in German Rock candy and let it marry the flavors in the fridge before serving in lovely glass compote glasses. Wa-la!!
