My boyfriend used to buy Teavana all the time when he lived near Seattle, so when he visited there on a business trip some months ago, he thought this would make a good introduction to Teavana for his tea-crazy girlfriend. Though I didn't like one of the teas in it (the Frutto Bianco, weirdly enough), I fell in love with Teavana just based on the presentation. The box is beautiful, sturdy, and reusable. The tea tins inside are lovely and it's easy to peel the labels off the bags and put them on the tins (and to reuse the tins later with different teas by just peeling off the labels again). I normally don't care for mix sets like this, but if you know someone who likes teas, I think they would like this set very much. There's a little bit of everything in there. (Beware: two of the teas have white tea in them, which does have some caffeine in it, so this set is not going to work for people who absolutely must avoid all caffeine. I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine's effects, so this isn't actually a "goodnight" tea for me, though I like it earlier in the evening!) A very nice and thoughtful gift for someone who likes good tea.

This is a terrific set to get a variety of night-time teas with the beautiful washi tins. The only way to make it absolutely perfect would be swap out the Swiss Vervaine with Tranquil Dreams. Bangkok Lemongrass has this wonderful velvety vanilla and orange overtone. Lavender Dreams reminds me of Provence in a cup. Frutto Bianco blends with so many other teas or is absolutely perfect by itself. Swiss Vervaine is what I consider the quintessential chamomile with a light citrus twist. Out of all the Teavana sets (and I've bought almost all of them), this is my favorite!

The problem with this package is not service but the tea I tried was weak and yes, I did prepare it according to directions. I have been drinking Teavana Teas for years and this package was a disappointment. ALSO: I picked this package specifically because of the four tea tins shown in the picture and that is NOT what you get. I thought they would complement our kitchen and allow me to keep my teas on the counter. I drink tea all day long and I would like to have them more convenient. I simply like to get what I order and the picture is deceiving and does not state that the tins are random.

I was really surprised at the price. It's a great savings buying it as the gift set rather than piece by piece. Makes my gift giving simple and affordable--- and recipients LOVE it.
