I purchased this tea mainly to help with my insomnia, but I must admit, I am a fan of the vampire Diaries, so I couldn't pass up the chance to try vervaine tea. It smelled delicious, and it did help me sleep a little better. However, I am very disappointed with how it tasted (or rather, DIDN'T taste). I tried honey, rock sugar, regular sugar, cinnamon, and lemon, and nothing made this tea taste good. I will not purchase any more of this tea, but I will use what I have when I have a stuffy nose and need some sleep...

I was intrigued by the name and unusual ingredients in this herbal blend, so I orderd it to see what it was like. It wasn't a bad tea, but something about it tasted off. I don't know if it was too weak or if I just wasn't used to this combination of flavors. Something on the tongue actually tasted spicy. I'm guessing it was the ginger. There was also a subtle creaminess to it that I can only imagine was the marshmallow leaves perhaps. It's good, just not excellent, but I plan to play a little with the amount I use, in case all it needs is a little extra tea.

This is the third tea ever that I've bought (not counting the store-bought tea bags that left me feeling meh about tea). I stopped by Teavana last weekend and got two half pounds of a a green tea blend and a white tea/chai blend. I got a lot of tea, since I'm really in the stage of wanting variety! Anyway, I wanted something nice for bedtime, and I read the reviews here so swung by on my lunch break to get the Swiss Vervaine as well as Tranquil Dreams. The girl at the store commented, "I drink the Swiss Vervaine whenever I have a headache - it's like an instant cure." Well I get lots of tension headaches - and happened to have one today! Even though it wasn't bedtime, I had a couple cups at work in the afternoon, and not only was it a lovely tasting drink that required no sweetener, but I feel so much more relaxed, my headache's almost gone, and my stomach feels better as well! I think I'll have another cup ;)

I didnt know this until I tried this tea but some people are allergic to vervain also called verbena officianalis. It can cause a tight chest and skin inflammation. It made me very flush and breathing was constricted so make sure that you dont have this allergy or you can be caught by surprise.

This tea has an incredible scent that makes my kitchen smell wonderful. I thought the taste would be too strong because of that, but boy was I surprised. The flavor is extremely smooth and relaxing and I can hardly wait until my next cup.

I chose to purchase this blend after reading a review about someone with Fibromyalgia (thank you for posting!). Both mother and I have FMS, and find this blend to be soothing. It really does help with difficulty sleeping, yet doesn't overwhelmingly do so. Great blend, love the aroma. It's an awesome addition to an insomniac's arsenal! :)

I've been a black tea drinker for sometime now and thought I would stretch out and try an herbal. I had no idea where to begin and bought this particular tea purely due to it's high reviews. I would have to admit that the tea has such high marks for a reason. It is delicious, refreshing and a pleasure to drink. It's a nice break from strong malty black teas.

Side note: I was worried about it making me sleepy at night (since I'm a student and like staying up late studying), but I haven't noticed any soporific effects.

Great tea! Highly recommend!

Pour yourself a cup, and cuddle up and relax. This is definitely my favorite tea for unwinding at the end of a crazy day. Since it is caffeine free, you can even have a refill (or 2)! This tea is also a feast for the eyes. Prepare it in a glass teapot and watch all of the colors unfold as it steeps. A treat for the senses!

I liked this blend at first, but after a few weeks I fell in LOVE with it. I drink it almost every evening. It is very calming and relaxing. It is also great mixed with chamomile. I have fibromyalgia and when I am feeling a bit under the weather I brew up a cup of Swiss Vervaine Melange and I start to feel better as soon as I start sipping. It also looks beautiful in my glass storage jar on my shelf. This is a must have tea for me.

This is an interesting tea. The aroma is almost intoxicating, very strong but pleasant. I really love the taste and it is a very relaxing tea. Minty with a floral note. I'm not usually a fan of floral teas but this one works.

I tried this tea for two reasons. The first is because I read reviews about it helping with migraines and insomnia and since i have a serious case of both I decided to try it. I normally do not even feel sleepy until 3 or 4 in the morning but I tried this tea at about 9 at night and was very sleepy a half hour later. I fell asleep pretty soon after I got in bed a while later. The second not so important and slightly stupid reason I got this tea was because of the vervaine. What vampire diaries fan wouldn't want to buy a tea with vervaine?

I love this tea. Before I bought this tea, I tried all sorts of chamomile blends, and none of them relaxed me the way this tea does. I used to get up several times in the middle of the night, but after having one cup of this tea before bed, I sleep straight through the night.

This tea has a great flavor, so it's enjoyable to drink as-is. I like my tea on the strong side, so I usually put 3 tsp of tea for one cup rather than the recommended 1.5 tsp.

This is one of our favorite nighttime teas. Is has a light and fluffy aire about it that puts you at ease and tickles your taste buds. Add a small pinch of honey and it's the perfect after dinner drink to relax with and ease into dream-land with. Sipping a cup of this tea is like having a small fairy made out of marshmallows and love do a tapdance in your soul.

Even if you don't like this tea; it's worth buying for the name alone... it's fun to say; go ahead and try it. You can't say it without smiling can you?

...bottom line... Swiss Bebayn-Dudang (how it comes out when I try to say it) is worth a try.

My kids and I tried this before bedtime. Swiss Vervaine has an interesting flavor, I have not yet decided if I would purchase it again. Its flavor seems suitable for when one is not feeling well. So I would choose this tea not necessarily when I am well but definitely when I am sick. The flavor reminds me of liquid cough medicine?! But, at the same time, it is VERY relaxing. So I would recommed this for when you have a cold and need to feel better but not necessarily as a daily bedtime tea.

This tea seems odd to me at first because of the ingredients and also because the smell it's just so unique it's hard to make judgment.

but, after trying it a couple times is definitely one of my new favorites. it works wooonderfully, as it says, to calm your nerve and get you in a good peaceful state.
the taste of it, like the smell, is just too complex/unique for me to describe in my words, but if you enjoy the GINSENG VITALITY , i think you'll like this. that was the only other i felt i could compare it to.

I have Celiac's Disease and my digestive system is very sensitive. It was acting up one day and I know Ginger and Peppermint help on so many levels... on a bad day I drink this tea and I feel completely cured. This is a wonderful night-time tea because there is no caffeine in it, but it's very soothing and I could drink it anytime of the day. One interesting point to note is that while it is a relaxing blend...it is not a "weak" or "wimpy" tea. It is very flavorful (which I prefer) and it smells just as wonderful as it tastes. Key flavors include citrus and mint.

A lovely, relaxing tea in the evening, and especially nice mixed with a little Tarocco Ruby Orange. I prefer a long steep for this tea so I use the Harmony Glass Tea Tumbler. The tea stays hot and continues to steep while drinking. I like it with just a bit of honey.

This is the first tea I have tried at Teavana, and I went in just to check it out. I suffer from debilitating migraines at least once a week, and I was checking out the Medicial Tea book they have. I asked if they had any of the teas that were listed and they did not, but the girl said that she uses this tea for migraines, mixed with the lavendar. I didn't want to try both at once (i'm cheap), so i just got this one. I really like this tea, I drink it at any time.
I had a really bad migraine yesterday and had taken all the perscriptions i was supposed to and still laid in pain for 3 hours. before my husband put me to bed he made me my tea. I usually wake up with more pain, but i slept through the night and woke up fine, just a little tension in my neck. :)
I am very excited about this, as I take an unnatural amount of over the counter and perscription drugs-- yay for natural relief!

I bought this tea to help my husband and I sleep better. While steeping up a pot, I decided to check the internet to see if vervaine is safe for pregnant people. Everything I read said NOT to drink it. Bummer, because I tried a sip and it was pretty good. It did help my husband sleep better, but I am still on the lookout for a soothing tea for myself.

I was looking for another good night time tea that would also soothe my tummy after a big meal and during my "lady time". This sounded great, intriguing even, because of the peppermint and ginger flavors. What a miss. It tastes like a regular tea you could pick up anywhere and pretty bland. It smells yummy and minty, but the taste doesn't match the smell, and once brewed, it smells musty. I blended it with a home made chamomile/spearmint tea and it actually made the tea better.

I have to admit - the first time I went into my local Teavana store, I thought it was more a gimick than anything else. But the more I've been back (I think I now have 10-12 different types of tea, the more I'm a believer. I'm really finding different teas give me different results.

I went tonight to try and find an accompanyment to my Lavender Dreams tea that would also be good on it's own. At first, when the put the two tins out and did their signature "waving" of the tin tops, I didn't get it. But then I closed my eyes and tried it again. What a great combo! So mellow, realaxing and calming to the senses. Slightly sweet and instantly puts me in a mellow mood just by smelling it.

I'm really starting to love Teavana!

I prefer this tea hands-down over chamomile! It has such a noticeable relaxing effect on the nervous system, and doesn't have the strong diuretic effect that chamomile can. I love it!

This is a perfect tea for the end of your day. My husband even loves this tea. I strongly recommend it for anybody who works crazy hours and needs a bit of "me" time at the end of the day. I would recommend the rock sugar as it adds a very nice touch. You only need a tsp.

I went into Teavana looking for some herbal and peppermint teas to help with my recently diagnosed stomach problems. The man behind the counter recommended this tea, which I thought smelled great but had doubts about how it would taste.

In hot teas, I like tea to taste like tea - not like fruits & flowers. When I made a pot at home, I was surprised at how good it tasted hot. It is very soothing and the mint is very mild (which I prefer). I'm happy to find a non-fruity herbal blend to enjoy before bed and when my stomach acts up.

This is my absolute favorite tea. I received a nice assortment of teas from Teavana for my birthday and several weeks later stopped by the Teavana store at a nearby mall and went a little crazy! I now have over 12 different Teavana teas, but this one is the one I go to first. In fact, I often have to force myself decide on one of the others. I'm always in the mood for this one!

Tranquil Dream is a very good tea, but this one is better. Steep it for five minutes and then drink it when it's not quite so hot (without sugar) and it's delicious! A very sweet mellow taste. Plus, it does all that it claims to (aid in digestion, relax mind, and promote better sleep)!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this tea when I smelled it in the store, but I must say that I like it.

Its a pretty light tea with the overall flavor being peppermint with a hint of citrus.

It has a very smooth, soothing taste which makes me inclined to believe what the literature says about promoting relaxation and a better sleep... Hopefully I'll have a definitive answer in the morning.
