Comments about Teavana Ginger Bread Cookie 2OZ:

Some teas are like food and this was no exception. I actually ate this tea by the spoonful. When brewed it was too sharp and tart. It is hibiscus and rose hip based so I should have known better. This tea is better blended with another tea, probably a rooibos. It is also better consumed cool rather than hot or warm.

One of the absolute best tea flavors of all time!!! This tea has a great fall aroma reminiscent of carmel apples, pumpkin pies and vanilla tarts but has a faint fruity edge that makes this a well-rounded succulent treat! I highly recommend this completely enjoyable tea that tastes best when you brew for a strong cup. Enjoy!

The description for this tea gives one high hopes. Alas, I was disappointed by the rancid nuts, stale popcorn, and weak nature of this tea. It does not taste like gingerbread. Maybe this is an acquired taste but there are so many truly wonderful Teavana tea choices. This was awful. I threw it away. Sorry.

This is definitely my favorite tea! Though it is a little weak, so I use 2.5 tsp usually. It's also very sweet and doesn't require much sweetener.

I'm sorry but this tea was positively repulsive. Awful smell, worse taste; couldn't even taste the sweet stuff like pineapple. Tried to save it with more sugar but for naught. It's the first and so far only tea I've ever thrown out.
Try at your own risk.

Comments about Teavana Ginger Bread Cookie 2OZ:

I didn't notice any of the bitterness that people have commented on, nor any overwhelming popcorn taste. I do agree it could have done with some crystallized ginger or something.

It's a very comforting tea with a nice nuttiness and spiciness that reminds me of a gingerbread (or maybe more like a gingernut) cookie. Wonderful tea for the evening, and would be amazing during winter!

Only con was it was a bit weak for me using the instructions, and the popcorn caused a film of oil on the tea which was offputting.

Comments about Teavana Ginger Bread Cookie 2OZ:

This tea unsweetened is bitter. If sweetened, it does take on a cookie-ish flavor, and I can see how some could enjoy the flavor but it just wasn't for me. I don't like teas that require a lot of sweetening to enjoy.

Comments about Teavana Ginger Bread Cookie 2OZ:

IMHO: The pieces in this blend are too big to ever brew a "complete" cup. To gain the entire flavor profile without an entire pot is impossible... so I brewed a whole pot.
Which is when I discovered that there is too much fruit... and not enough spice...
And it needs a kick in the but.... which I've been achieving by adding Mate... but that isn't as good to me as the rooibos+mate combo.

So if you've received it... that's the only way I can make it tolerable... But I would never purchase it.
Good trail mix though...

Comments about Teavana Ginger Bread Cookie 2OZ:

This was absolutely horrid. The tea is extremely bitter, the popcorn really overpowers the flavor to the point it should have been called tart corn. I've tried the cane sugar, the mixture with the mate nothing seemed to help. I even spent a great deal of time picking out the popcorn nothing worked. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If you require a more vivid description try those popcorn flavored jelly beans, that taste is quite similar if not identical. No ginger flavor at all, very disappointing.

The tea is very strong and very bitter on it's own. It is much better if you soften the flavor by mixing with a mate, but still doesn't taste like gingerbread.

I don't understand why this DOESN'T taste like gingerbread at all. It smells and tastes like fruit, and needless to say I was extremely upset that I spent my money on a product that did not taste the way it was advertised. I wasn't too happy with how it tasted as a fruit tea either, however my boyfriend thought it would make a good fruity tea.
