Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

I was a little hesitant to try this at first. I prefer strong black teas and have recently been converted to Mate as well; however, this tea has got to be the best herbal tea I have ever smelled/tasted. It has such a strong sweet smell and when brewed hot it has a light taste of vanilla. I suggest adding more tea than recommended because it is a little weak, but the flavor profile is so fantastic I must purchase again.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

This is one of my favorite teas from TEAVANA so far. Combined with milk and rock sugar, this is a delicious tea that has a creamy, warm, sweet taste that lasts. You don't even have to add a lot of sugar to it to make it delicious.

The smell is beautiful and has the same sweet smoothness as the taste does, but the smell isn't particularly strong. The taste isn't overpowering, either, and that's good: the sweetness is mellow, the creaminess (with a type of milk) is perfect.

I'd highly recommend this tea! It tastes like sort of a miniature dessert. I was very happy with this tea :). I have nothing bad to say about it. It delivers!

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

My first time buying hot tea outside the grocery store. The flavor is wonderful just like the people who worked on helping me find just the right twist. Blends of honey and vanilla are strong yet leave way for a smooth taste. This is defiantly a dessert type of tea, in my opinion, w/an offering of calmness.

I originally bought this tea because I am a huge fan of anything vanilla and it smells amazing. I bought this to use as a mixer, but I find I rarely use it for such. It's great mixed with Haute Chocolate and Cacao Mint, but I often forget to use it. If you like vanilla, you won't be disappointed.

I love Teavana and drink at least 3-5 cups a day. I normally love Rooibos teas but did not like this one at all. It has a weird taste. I have a girlfriend who also is an avid Teavana tea drinker and gave her the rest of mine thinking she might like it. She was shocked that it was a Teavana tea, in fact it took some convincing before she would believe me that it truly was a Teavana tea. Maybe it would be better blended with another tea, but I never tried because I just didn't like it. Sorry Teavana! I love all my other teas and only drink Teavana!

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

I only had this tea once as a friend's apartment. I didn't think it was anything special, so I never purchased any. I really like vanilla and was disappointed at the lack of vanilla flavors in this tea. There's not really much else I remember about it, which is maybe more beneficial that if I would have written paragraphs about it.

Reviews are highly subjective and one person's favorite tea may be another person's least. I tend to like light, fruity, sweet white teas or herbal infusions as well as the occasional green tea as long as it's not too earthy or vegetal tasting. I also like spicy teas such as a good cup of chai, as well as teas with cinnamon and/or vanilla. I tend to dislike robust black teas, anything that tastes like coffee, and anything with a floral smell and/or flavor. To give you a better understanding of why I like this tea, here is how I have rated other teas:

Can't Drink – 1 Star
Sweet Oolong Revolution

Didn't like – 2 Star
Almond Biscotti Black
Cocoa Praline Tart Rooibos

It's okay – 3 Star

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

Ok, so I walked by Teavava in the mall, and they were handing out samples. I tried something with mango and it was good, so I walked in. The salesgirl was very helpful, asking what I liked and such. I told her vanilla flavors, so she goes and opens this one up and gives me a smell....SO good!!! I was sold right away. Then she goes, but its really good when mixed with this, and pulls out the Golden Monky Black Tea,which also smells amazing!! Now I'll be honest, Ive never had loose leaf tea, I like tea, but usually just buy the stuff in the grocery store and Im fine with it. So anyway, just based on smell alone she sold me on this blend, which she ratio'd at 1/2 Honeybush 1/2 Golden Monkey. So I buy this neat little cup with a strainer at the top so I could go home and try out this tea. After the money I spent, I definitley made sure I steeped it properly at the right temp and time. I have to say, I was pretty amazed, both teas have amazing flavors!! I can definitely tell the difference in quality between Teavana teas, and grocery store products. I love the hint of vanilla/honey and the spiciness of the black tea blended together. I was a little sticker shocked at the register, but Im sure I will be going back to try more products in the future!! Just be aware if you are a new shopper that the prices are per 2 oz, not lb, cause thats how the sales girl presented it. But I do recommend trying this tea, I think next time I may try it alone :)

When I opened the package I was overwhelmed by the sweet scent of this tea. It was a little off-putting, actually, because it almost smelled like frosting. I made a cup and...wow. Smooth, creamy, a little hint of almost a citrus flavor in the middle (might be just me), and a honey and vanilla sweetness that's captivating. I first tried this in the morning and can't wait to use it to relax tonight! Definitely a winner and a fabulous caffeine-free choice. It'd be great to make recipes from...tea bread maybe?

The smell of this tea is amazing. It's undeniable. It makes me a little hungry and it smells amazingly close to such a beautiful honey note. It's hard to express the scent.

The tea itself is a beautiful color.I sipped it and loved it. The smell seems a bit stronger than the taste though. It's a great tea and would combine really well with something like Haute Chocolate Rooibos which I LOVE experimenting with as well. Overall a bright tea with amazing appeal.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

I should preface this by saying that I don't like anything very sweet and love unflavored teas, so perhaps that's part of why I do not love this tea. I love vanilla tea, but I hardly tasted the vanilla in this. The honey was overpowering and too sweet for me, and it had a very long sweet aftertaste. The smell is wonderful though. After trying it alone, I mixed it with Silver Needle white tea. That was better as it toned down the sweetness and honey. Next I'll try mixing it with a bolder unflavored tea like black or oolong. Overall, this tea is okay. If you are looking for a tea with a strong vanilla taste then this is not it.

I enjoyed the Rooibos Vanilla so I had high hopes for this one too. The Honeybush comes off weaker although the honey element is there. The Vanilla is not, not in the taste nor the aroma. Maybe it just needs more vanilla added to the blend. I am not writing off this blend, I just think it needs some improvement to bring out the flavor profile more.

Whether I am at work, home, or traveling- this tea is simply the best. I drink other Teavana teas as well, such as the Organic Peppermint, but the Honeybush Vanilla is the best tea ever. I love the way that it smells, too. It is great for waking me up in the morning, and because it is caffiene-free it is also great in the evening. Now, if you are asking how is it that this tea wakes me up in the morning when it is caffiene-free, well....simply the smell of this tea (whether straight out of my storage tin or out of a freshly steeped cup) is enough to open my eyes wide open.

I recommend trying this with the Rooibos Chai tea, too! They make a perfect blend.

Hello vanilla! This is very strong on it's own so I usually just mix it with something spicy like Coconut Zingibar. The vanilla flavor it almost fake tasting, but adding a teaspoon to another tea makes a world of difference.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

When I first smelled this it was wonderful - the aroma so full of vanilla and "warmth". I brewed it many times at home (by itself) and could hardly get it down, left a weird after taste in my mouth. Then, I was feeling creative and mixed it 1/2 and 1/2 with Youthberry White Tea and WOW! I added a touch of cinnamon honey and it was a perfect cup. The vanilla came through and the touch of honey with cinnamon brought out a uniqueness but the best was the subtle berry flavor from the Youthberry. You must try this combo!

Bought this tea to blend my favorite MateVana. I have not tried it by itself but with Matevana. It's sweet and you can taste the honey, vanilla, and what seems like caramel also. It blends great with Matevana really smoothing out the tea and adding a nice sweetness to it. I have yet to blend it with other teas but will soon after reading other reviewers liking their blends too.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

This tea was suggested to me by a Teavana employee who is also a singer. Honeybush acts as a mild demulcent, so it's great for performers. Plus, this tea is delicious. It's not overly strong, but the flavor is rich, and I quite like the flavor of the honeybush leaves. I drink this tea with honey for the added benefits and can't seem to get tired of it.

What an unusual flavor profile, with prominent notes of butter and caramel. It brings to mind a hot rum toddy! Let it steep to bring out deeper flavor, and a touch of honey helps as well. Rewarding on its own, and should add depth and interest to other teas. Very nice!

This tea alone might not be for everyone. I felt it to be a bit weak. But when I added it to some Earl Gray, ... wow. Then I added it to some black chi, and then some peach, and then anything that needed a little smoothing out.. YUM. I now have to have this one on hand all the time. I even had some old Twinning English Breakfast in the back of the cupboard and I tried adding the honeybush to it.... It saved the tea.

The aroma of this tea is what grabbed my attention when I visited the local Teavana store. I purchased it as a gift and had to go back and get some for myself. I like my tea a little stronger, so I steeped it for 8 minutes and came up with the perfect cup. It has a very smooth vanilla taste with a touch of honey. Nothing needs to be added. Definitely one of my favorite teas!

Another tea I will always keep stocked. I took this tea, chilled and pre-made to a group meeting and let others try it. (I don't make my tea with any added sugar because I like the tea alone) None of them added sugar and tried it as I had made it, all of them were amazed by it and none added sugar because they loved the flavor of it by it itself. If you like no sugar, like me, this teas flavor will hold it own. Wonderful!

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

I am sitting at my desk drinking this tea with some of the rock sugar I bought from Teavana yesterday afteroon. It is a very soothing tea. Very calming. I think the vanilla is responsible for the smooth taste of the tea as I don't really smell it once the tea is steeped. As I inhale to drink the tea I smell honey. It is wonderful tea. More of an afternoon tea. Not really a wake-me-up in the morning tea. Great though. I will buy again. This tea is a milder/weaker steeped tea. But I honestly prefer that. I don't like super strong flavored tea. Some people might not like it for that reason. I love it for that reason.

I see in the reviews a few people say this tastes medicinal, I don't get that at all. It is a nice light tea. Not bitter at all, which is great. It is soothing. It does not stand out as wonderful to me, it would need a stronger vanilla taste for that, but it is just an all around good tea.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

Reading the other reviews, I feel like a lot of people have missed the point of this tea, mislead by the "honey" part of honeybush. Though sweeter than a rooibos, it is not a sweet tea by itself, especially when using real vanilla beans rather than an artificial extract. It's a wonderful disgestive tea on its own and steadies a lot of other teas heavy on spice. Try it with the Matevana and Peppermint and two scoops of rock cane sugar - like drinking a cookie, a recommended concoction for migraines. Honeybush is also good for pregnant/lactating and menopausal women, in addition to its advertised benefits as an expectorant (clearing the lungs). Do not brew this longer than 5-6 minutes. That works for fruity herbals, but honeybush is actual plant leaves. I hope the negative reviewers give this a second chance.

This tea pairs perfectly with honey, and butter cookies...(for him, not me..well..)

I have tried lots and lots of red teas, herbal teas and flavored black teas. This tea, by far, is my favorite. It has a smooth, delicate honey-like taste which I find both unique and comforting. The vanilla is very subtle too, not at all overpowering like some other vanilla teas I have purchased. The rich redish-amber color of the tea is simply beautiful in the cup.
I like to drink my tea very hot with locally harvested raw honey. This tea is also soothing to the throat and digestive tract. It has no bitterness or acidity. It is just the best! It is perfect for someone with a sore throat or sensitive tummy!

The description sounded enticing enough.. how could you go wrong with honey and vanilla? I've tried it a few times and I just don't like it. I don't want to give up on it yet.. maybe it just needs some sweetener or milk? The scent and flavor is very acidic or medicinal to me.

I love Honeybush tea. Except this one seemed a little too mellow. Perhaps it's the vanilla that smooths it out, I bought like a pound of it so I can dilute the bitter taste of the discontinued Honeydew melon white tea, except I found moldy pieces in that one so now I think I'll just drink the Honeybush by itself and throw away the other moldy tea.

I have to eliminate sugar/sweets from my diet, and this tea helps me get by those tough cravings. I add just a teaspoon of Xlylitol (Smart Sweet) to it to help accentuate the flavor. I've tried quite a few teas from Teavana and I'd have to say this one is in my top five. It definitely tastes better than it smells. If you like this flavor, then you might also like the Almond Biscotti (it is a black tea); it's my favorite...so far!

I love anything vanilla. This tea smells absolutely delicious, and tastes even better! Most things claiming to be vanilla flavored just have a nice aroma, but this tea actually tastes like vanilla. The slight honey flavor gives it a little "oomph!" so it's not so... vanilla.

It's great anytime, as it has no caffeine. I find it more calming and soothing to me than chamomile. I usually take it hot and slightly sweetened as an after-work "me moment", or curled up with a cat and a good book.

I just got this tea in yesterday and I am not too impressed. The aroma is not great, in fact I think it upsets my stomach a little, so as you can imagine I was reluctant to try it, but to my surprise it tastes pretty darn good.
I gave it 3 stars because I am one of those that likes to constantly smell my tea while I'm drinking it, and this tea doesn't compare to the delicious smell of some other teas I've had from Teavana.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

This is one of the 3 teas in my dessert tea blend that i invented while working @ the Teavana @ Town Square in Las Vegas. I mix equal parts of Azteca Fire Herbal Tea, Hazelnut Dolce Rooibos Tea, and Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea (layered in your teamaker in that order, Azteca on the bottom, Honeybush on the top). Add no sugar or a lot based on your personal preference. It's delicious with or without. This blend is best served hot, but makes a good iced tea too (use double the tea when making it iced).

Comforting, is what comes to mind with this soothing vanilla tea with a sweet ending and great aroma. It brews into a beautiful clear deep amber color that adds to the ambiance. It makes me feel special, when I sip it hot, I can ponder the mysteries of the universe and still be in my cozy home, let the storms rage.......

Honeybush Vanilla was the first tea i have bought at Teavana. The taste is very flavorful and unique. The vanilla is definetly there but not overpowering the rest of the ingredients. Its so relaxing and has a pleasant aroma.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:

I loved the tea without anything in it. It was better hot, although I enjoyed it on ice as well. It had enough body to be served on ice and preserved its vanilla flavor.

Loved the deep burgundy/brown color
