Nice little tea. Not a favorite but nice to have on hand for a change. One of the very few I would add sugar to. Looks like it would blend well with other teas.
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
I see in the reviews a few people say this tastes medicinal, I don't get that at all. It is a nice light tea. Not bitter at all, which is great. It is soothing. It does not stand out as wonderful to me, it would need a stronger vanilla taste for that, but it is just an all around good tea.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
Reading the other reviews, I feel like a lot of people have missed the point of this tea, mislead by the "honey" part of honeybush. Though sweeter than a rooibos, it is not a sweet tea by itself, especially when using real vanilla beans rather than an artificial extract. It's a wonderful disgestive tea on its own and steadies a lot of other teas heavy on spice. Try it with the Matevana and Peppermint and two scoops of rock cane sugar - like drinking a cookie, a recommended concoction for migraines. Honeybush is also good for pregnant/lactating and menopausal women, in addition to its advertised benefits as an expectorant (clearing the lungs). Do not brew this longer than 5-6 minutes. That works for fruity herbals, but honeybush is actual plant leaves. I hope the negative reviewers give this a second chance.

This is the first tea I've been disappointed with. Very medicinal in odor and flavor. I got this tea on recommendation to go with the Spice Nut Mate. Very glad I kept them separate.

I thought I would love this tea, but it just doesn't taste very good to me at all. It tastes too much like medicine.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
This tea is great on it's own but also blends well with just about anything. The tea has a soft, soothing vanilla scent and taste and is delicious served hot or cold. It blends well with all the fruity teas I have tried it with, including Strawberry Pur-Eh and Cloud 9 Rooibos, as well non-fruity varieties like Earl Grey and Mate Vana.
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
This tea definitely has a strong vanilla flavor. I tend to like to drink it later in the evening to satisfy my sweet tooth. I find it to be a soothing tea.

Bought a cup of this one at the store. Very nice - light & refreshing. Simple flavor - nothing too complex. Would be wonderful with dessert or before bed.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
This tea is wonderful for PMS. I drink it a lot the week before (and throughout) my "time of month," and it's benefits have been amazing.
My husband enjoys this as a nice evening, relaxation tea. It's slighly sweet, and we add natural, unprocessed honey to enhance the flavor.
This tea pairs perfectly with honey, and butter cookies...(for him, not me..well..)

Try this blend anytime it's called the Feel Good Blend......equal parts of Jasmine Pearls, Honeybush vanilla, Pepermint and Silver needle. Be careful...it's so good you will want this everyday!

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
I have tried lots and lots of red teas, herbal teas and flavored black teas. This tea, by far, is my favorite. It has a smooth, delicate honey-like taste which I find both unique and comforting. The vanilla is very subtle too, not at all overpowering like some other vanilla teas I have purchased. The rich redish-amber color of the tea is simply beautiful in the cup.
I like to drink my tea very hot with locally harvested raw honey. This tea is also soothing to the throat and digestive tract. It has no bitterness or acidity. It is just the best! It is perfect for someone with a sore throat or sensitive tummy!
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
I ordered this online so I didn't get a chance to smell it first. If I would have, I would not have purchased it. The description sounded enticing enough.. how could you go wrong with honey and vanilla? I've tried it a few times and I just don't like it. I don't want to give up on it yet.. maybe it just needs some sweetener or milk? The scent and flavor is very acidic or medicinal to me.
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
This is an excellent alternative for rooibos-sweeter, without the aftertaste. The vanilla is not too overpowering, and perfectly blends with the honeybush, which really tastes like honey. I love this tea.
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
I have never liked vanilla before. Yeah, I would use it in baking but never liked the sweet smell of it or the sweet taste UNTIL NOW. I mix Honeybush Vanilla tea with Haute chocolate, Rooibos chai, peppermint, and anything else that I can think of. It makes any tea smoother and more full bodied without adding sugar. I can't say enough good things about my new favorite tea!
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
This is a really nice creamy vanilla tea. I am having my first cup of this tea right now and I am really enjoying every sip. It's about 9pm and I think it is a great bed time tea too. I love the aroma this tea gives off as well. I mixed this one with honey instead of sugar and I think it is simply delightful!
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
I love Honeybush tea. Except this one seemed a little too mellow. Perhaps it's the vanilla that smooths it out, I bought like a pound of it so I can dilute the bitter taste of the discontinued Honeydew melon white tea, except I found moldy pieces in that one so now I think I'll just drink the Honeybush by itself and throw away the other moldy tea.

I have to eliminate sugar/sweets from my diet, and this tea helps me get by those tough cravings. I add just a teaspoon of Xlylitol (Smart Sweet) to it to help accentuate the flavor. I've tried quite a few teas from Teavana and I'd have to say this one is in my top five. It definitely tastes better than it smells. If you like this flavor, then you might also like the Almond Biscotti (it is a black tea); it's my favorite...so far!

I love this tea! I love that you don't need really any suger in it, the aroma is what makes the tea.

Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
I love anything vanilla. This tea smells absolutely delicious, and tastes even better! Most things claiming to be vanilla flavored just have a nice aroma, but this tea actually tastes like vanilla. The slight honey flavor gives it a little "oomph!" so it's not so... vanilla.
It's great anytime, as it has no caffeine. I find it more calming and soothing to me than chamomile. I usually take it hot and slightly sweetened as an after-work "me moment", or curled up with a cat and a good book.
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
I just got this tea in yesterday and I am not too impressed. The aroma is not great, in fact I think it upsets my stomach a little, so as you can imagine I was reluctant to try it, but to my surprise it tastes pretty darn good.
I gave it 3 stars because I am one of those that likes to constantly smell my tea while I'm drinking it, and this tea doesn't compare to the delicious smell of some other teas I've had from Teavana.

This is one of the 3 teas in my dessert tea blend that i invented while working @ the Teavana @ Town Square in Las Vegas. I mix equal parts of Azteca Fire Herbal Tea, Hazelnut Dolce Rooibos Tea, and Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea (layered in your teamaker in that order, Azteca on the bottom, Honeybush on the top). Add no sugar or a lot based on your personal preference. It's delicious with or without. This blend is best served hot, but makes a good iced tea too (use double the tea when making it iced).
Comments about Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea:
Comforting, is what comes to mind with this soothing vanilla tea with a sweet ending and great aroma. It brews into a beautiful clear deep amber color that adds to the ambiance. It makes me feel special, when I sip it hot, I can ponder the mysteries of the universe and still be in my cozy home, let the storms rage.......

Honeybush Vanilla was the first tea i have bought at Teavana. The taste is very flavorful and unique. The vanilla is definetly there but not overpowering the rest of the ingredients. Its so relaxing and has a pleasant aroma.

I loved the tea without anything in it. It was better hot, although I enjoyed it on ice as well. It had enough body to be served on ice and preserved its vanilla flavor.
Loved the deep burgundy/brown color
