See, I've read comments that people think this tea has no mint flavor, and is overly bitter. I beg to differ. It does have a bold, slightly bitter bite, but it's followed by a cooling mint taste. I've used this blend frequently by itself, and think it's wonderful. I can't wait to try it with others!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I was not much of a green tea drinker, but mostly because I didn't brew it correctly. It is hard to brew green tea without speacial equipment. Well I purchased the Breville automatic tea maker and now every cup is perfect! Now I LOVE green tea - especially this one.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I cold-brew this tea for 12 hours and then add agave syrup and shake with ice. It is the best iced tea. So refreshing and never bitter. As caffeine content is a concern for me, I have read that cold-brewing extracts less caffeine than hot. I wonder how much caffeine ends up in each glass?
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Sort of earthy and not what I am used to, but great for night time and really inexpensive!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Love this tea! I live in the south where it is super hot and this tea is very refreshing and light. I drink it every afternoon as a treat! I don't add any kind of sweetener and its amazing! I like it strong so I add extra leaves to intensify the flavor. I also let it steep for at least 2 minutes. So glad I chose to give this tea a try!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
When I opened the bag and felt the strong mint fragrance I was ready for a disappointment - the mint will overpower the tea and it will taste like a plain herbal.
Well, the very first sip was a pleasant surprise. The tea and the mint blend together extremely giving a very refreshing feel. I wish I had time to make a second cup! A very inspired blend.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Was pretty disapppointed with this tea as my batch has very little mint in it at all. I am following the directions and steeping for only 1 min. One review said to steep longer to taste the mint more, but I am afraid that will make the green tea bitter. The green tea in this mix has a strong smokey flavor, which I don't care for. My husband called it interesting. I wouldn't get it again. I do like the full body though.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I LOVE this tea!!! from the startling refreshing aroma when you open the bag, to that warm cup with sweetner, it is WONDERFULLY good. tickles the taste buds. It is especially good ICED- SOOOOO refreshing and delightful. I much prefer spearmint to peppermint, which i find harsh and burning. for example i picked most of the peppermint out of the chocolate mint tea Teavana has. but this was wonderful- i hope they keep it forever as a classic staple!! one of my top 2 favorite greens now, next to jasmine dragon pearls. seriously , try it sweetened with ice this summer- what a cool thrill! tastes like a mojito!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
My grandmother, who is from Morocco, would make a green tea exactly like this! I could never make it the way she did, but this tea tastes exactly like it. It is very ethnic and I share it with all my friends when they come to dinner. It is an aromatic, minty tea and is a great dessert tea. If you like spearmint, you'll love this!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea makes for a fine cup hot, but it really shines as an iced tea. I add just a dash of sugar, and it instantly becomes what may be my favorite summer drink.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I tried this tea for the first time today. Absolutely delicious! It was very smooth with a subtle taste of mint. I tried it with honey the first time and drained my cup in 10 minutes! Second cup without honey and it's still just as tasty!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Becoming more and more of a tea enthusiast. Gave up carbonated beverages (for the most part). I really like this tea. Quite minty but still balanced with the more robust gunpowder green. Usually I make a good 24 oz. and just let it set on my office desk. By the time I finish it it has become room temp. Tastes good regardless of the temp. I add a little rock sugar but not too sweet at all
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I look forward to drinking this tea every evening to unwind.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea is so light and has a great mint flavor. I love drinking this tea straight or giving my herbal tea a kick by adding the mint flavor.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I bought this tea because green tea infused with mint is known to help heartburn. I drink probably over a gallon of tea a day and must say this helps in the evening when I do have heartburn. With that being said this good can go from good to awful in the blink of an eye. If you get it the least bit HOT it will burn the tea and be VERY VERY bitter. I have found that any hotter then 140F is too hot and sometimes even that leaves a bitter taste by the third cup. My suggestion to really enjoy this tea is to heat to 130F and steep no more then 2 minutes. Enjoy!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
To start with, it smells amazing. The spearmint is not overpowering. I steeped this for about 3 minutes and added just a drop of honey. I must say, that this might move to the top of my list of green teas right now. Flavor was simply great. I could drink this all day long...but I have too many different varieties in the cupboard to do that.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
LOVE this tea! It's not too over the top with mint. It is fantastic on it's own or paired with other fruity teas. My favorite to mix it with is Blueberry Bliss (iced with splenda or rock sugar), so pleasant and satisfying! Just be aware of how long you steep and the temperature of the water. If the tea steeps too long, it may have a bitter edge. Otherwise, it's one of my favorite.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I have searched for a good, smooth Moroccan mint tea for several years now that isn't bitter and doesn't taste grassy; this tea made the smoothest most perfect cup of tea I've had in a long time! Perfect as a palate cleanser at meals or just as a pleasant, soothing tea experience after a long day.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Here's the truth: This tea is an under-appreciated gem.
Anyone who complains about it being bitter or not being able to get the flavor out of it must be doing it wrong. The right temperature and the right steep time (REALLY, just ONE minute) will get this tea to sing for you all year long.
It is possible to get a weak or bitter blend but that's not the fault of the tea, that is the tea preparer not working with it the way it needs to be. Teas are like people: You can't just force them to perform for you. You need to work with them the right way to get the most out of them.
This tea is amazing for the price but it is not one for beginners. It is not easy to get just right and it does no provide a second steep at all from what I've tried but that shouldn't be a problem for such an economical blend after all. it also mixes with other teas amazingly well. Ironically, silver needle and silver yin zhen pearls make a great combination if you don't mind steeping two different pots of teas separately and then mixing afterwords. Maybe I'm a little crazy for trying it but it was just magic when it happened. I had two emptying pots and a spirit for adventure. Mixed them both and found a gift from God. Amazing tea with amazing quality and potential if you are willing to work with it and discover how good it really is.

I was really surprised on how much I liked this. I've always been a fan of Peppermint tea...but just on a whim, thought I would try this one. It surprised me. So happy to add it to my collection. Especially on days when my nose is a little stuffy!

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I went to a Moroccan restaurant and was served the most wonderful cup of tea, after research I found that teavana sold something like it and when properly brewed it is EXACTLY like the tea I had. It has a nice almost flowery taste to it that really speaks from the green tea, I'm tempted to let it steep longer to the traditional brewing time to see if it can successfully mimic the flavor. Although the mint flavor is a little of the weak side it is the perfect tea to just sit and relax with.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I had this for the first time right before bed and I love it! Very soothing.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I generally like subtle flavors as opposed to strong flavors in tea, that's just my preference. I think it's great that neither the mint taste or the green tea taste overpowers the other, there is almost perfect balance.
Also, I'm prone to feeling ill after eating, and I find that if I drink this tea while I'm eating or afterwords I don't get sick. I'm not a doctor, but I believe this tea is VERY helpful for digestion.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea soothes the bodies stressors. It helps the body calm down from any harmful triggers that a person may be going through. It puts me in a gentle happy mood, I love it.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This is by far my favorite tea. It a very light flavor and not too minty. I probably drink 3 or more cups a day of this stuff! LOVE IT!

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I love this tea, I have read so many people say that they have made a bad brew or two out of this tea. I have brought the water to a full on violent boil and let the tea steep for ten minutes because I got wrapped up with someone on the phone and guess what it was still GREAT! I added some rock sugar and it didn't taste bitter to me, it didn't taste bad or anything. It was minty and refreshing with a smooth body and really lovely fragrance.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea may sound simple, but it is truly sublime and delicious. This is the only green tea I can drink without getting jittery. (For some reason I am very sensitive to the ECEG, or something in green tea that is energizing.) This tea is WAY better than trying to mix some mint and green teas yourself.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I love this blend, the mint is definitely there, but not overpowering the green tea. Make sure your water isn't too hot, and I steep somewhere between a minute to 1:30, no longer. Also, the mint leaves are quite small compared to the gunpowder green tea, the reviewers who didn't get any mint flavor might need to mix up their batch a little, as they could easily settle to the bottom of the bag/can. Great tea, especially for the value conscious.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I've been drinking tea since I was little, and mint green tea is always one of my favorites. This new take on a classic style is different but pleasant. The smoky gunpowder green tea does overpower the spearmint flavor, but I added my own peppermint leaves to the infuser and the result was a better blend. Overall, this is a great tea to for the Tea Rookie, ideal for gifts and a decent one to try.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
After reading the reviews that this was a bad tea I decided that I needed to get the Moroccan Mint's back. I have made quite a few bad batches of this tea. Always though, it has been my fault. I've either made the water too hot or I have let it steep too long. Make sure the water is no hotter than 175 degrees and I usually let it steep for about a minute and a half. I normally use 1 tsp if I am drinking it hot in a 12 oz cup. This tea is really refreshing and makes a great cup of iced tea on those hot days. I actually just made a cup of iced tea and it turned out great. 16 oz of filtered water, 2 tsp of tea, steep for 3 minutes and pour over a 16 oz glass full of ice. Try it and you won't be disappointed.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Green tea is my favorite kind of tea. I had only tried Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls before, so I decided to be adventurous and try something new.
At first, I was put off by the mediocre reviews, but then I told myself, "Reviews don't apply to everyone, and you're not picky anyway." That being said, I am so glad that I decided to try this! It is now one of my favorite teas ever!
This is a very soothing tea with a taste that isn't too strong, but it's not weak either. It's also one of the lowest-priced green teas, which is another bonus!
I've heard that steeping it for more than one minute and/or in water that's too hot will ruin the true taste, so brew this one with caution.
I will definitely be buying this one again! And remember, it pays to be adventurous!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
It is soothing and calming. Great for upset stomach and worries. I enjoy mixing it with other teas like white ayurvedic chai, samurai mate, my morning mate, etc.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea is perfect if you are looking for something light and refreshing. Not for those looking for bold taste. Great for end of day to unwind. I love mint tea but grocery store tea bags were a bit strong. This is perfect.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Mild green tea with good flavor. Mint flavor isn't strong but I find it does calm my stomach if I'm not feeling well. I enjoy this tea anytime of day.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Reading the other reviews I was a little surprised. I received this tea as a gift, as I am an avid tea and Teavana fan. I really enjoy it as part of my collection. It is a very delicate tasting green mint, especially if you are used to grocery store brand tea bags and such. I personally liked that it was "weak" which to me was more of a peaceful experience. It is a subtle tea comparatively, but high quality and worth the shelf space for times that you don't want a really bold flavor. I still "felt" the mint, and drink it often while I am doing something at the end of the day to unwind. To those who claim it is bitter, that was not the case at all for me. I had no "smokey" aromas or flavors and absolutely no bitterness. I brewed it exactly as directed. Maybe in trying to get more flavor people are brewing too long and thus, bitter. But I enjoy it simply as it is, delicate and smooth.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I'm an escapee from herbal tea-in-a-bag land who grew up loving sticky sweet peppermint teas. Teavana's Moroccan Mint is like all of the happiest bits from my childhood favorite mixed with a wonderfully adult flavor profile. The name says it all- the mint is light and refreshing while the "morocco" hits you with a depth of warm smooth smoky flavor- evoking both familiar comforts and exotic locales. It's an imagination tea- good for sipping while daydreaming...

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea is very easy to oversteep and very easy to make too hot (both create a bitter taste), but all in all is mint tea. Mint tea has an excellent flavor clarity, which goes well with almost anything honestly.
16oz blends:
blend with earl grey creme black tea for a wonderful vanilla mint tea, nice caffeine value equal 1tsp a piece.
blend with any rooibus tea (2 tsp roobius, 1tsp green) to add a delicate mint background onto your tea for little caffeine and extra anti-oxidants.
Blend with a mate (1+1/4 green for chocolate flavored mate, just 1 tsp for other mate, 2 tsp mate) for an amazing mate to give you energy without that deathly strong taste.
Never blend with oolongs, they are too precious... and unless its pure white tea (no additives), never blend with white either.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea is perfect for iced tea. It's important to follow the directions for making it. Steeping it too long or with too hot of water will make it bitter tasting.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
love the drink but it could be alot stronger in taste.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I had high hopes for this tea as I love mint teas. However, this tea has a gritty, bitter flavor to it. If you're looking for a refreshing mint tea, I'd go with their peppermint herbal tea instead!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
It's a good tea, but it does have a bitter taste. I have to add a lot of sugar, more than usual, to get the bitter taste out of it. Other than that, it's really good and gives you some pep in your step, not to mention minty breath.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea is the only bad tea I have ever had from this company. It's not minty at all, and has kind of a soapy water taste.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Smelled fantastic, but know matter how long or short of a brew it just didn't have a mint flavor not even compared to mint green tea I've had in tea bags never mind Persian cafes. Also had a bit of an ashy flavor. I really wish I could've made this work.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I love this refreshing mint tea any old time, but especialy in the afternoon, or after an Asian dinner. Soothes when my throat is a little scratchy. Hope the mix of reviews doesn't impell the folks at Teavana to 'pull' this one from their repetoire ... there's no disputing taste, I suppose. I miss their Mandarin Orange Green!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
It seemed no matter how long this tea seaped, it just didn't have any real mint flavor.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I had high hopes for this tea, but was thoroughly disappointed. I tried it hot, iced, barely steeped, oversteeped, mixed with other teas, etc. and was always turned off by the taste and smell of the finished product.
Steer clear of this one.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This Green Tea prior to steeping smells great. I had high hopes for it. After it is steeped it takes on a whole new life that is rather disappointing. The taste is rather light and nothing like the full bodied smell that comes at you when opening the can. The flavor was pleasant and not bad but where the tea REALLY fell off for me was the smell after bruing,it reminded my of faint cigarette smoke. It really smells light you are drinking a Cigarette, the flavor is ok but I can't get past the smell enough to enjoy it.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Great tea to drink after dinner (or other meals). Perfect with a biscotti or by itself. Keep this flavor!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I am a fan of mint green tea as it tends to help me feel better when I am sick or have a sore throat, but I also enjoy mint tea at any given time. This tea however was weak to me and had a smokey taste to it that reminded my of faint cigarette smoke. The mint flavoring was very light and not what I was looking for or used to. I will not be purchasing anymore of this tea, but will be on the hunt for another mint altenative with no smokey undertones to it. Save your money, look for another mint tea unless you like a small hint of mint, smokey, weak tasting green tea.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
A delicious cup of tea anytime of the day or night.
Do not oversteep it. It does get too strong.
Have stomach problems this tea helps me out.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
After dining in a restaurant run and staffed by Moroccan nationals, I was excited to try the Teavana Moroccan mint tea. Being a big drinker of gunpowder, I was not sure that the flavor would mesh well with the mint. The mint tea at the restaurant was very minty and only slightly tasted of green tea, definitely not gunpowder.
The Teavana blend is very light on the mint flavor. The smokiness of the gunpowder was not overpowering, as I had feared, but the tea was not nearly as refreshing as I was hoping. As the tea cooled, it got more interesting on the palate.
Taken on it's own, this tea is not bad. It's not my favorite, but it's pleasant, if you're looking for a very light flavored green tea.

I drink tae all the time and I love this one!!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
Looked forward to trying this tea. Tried several cups, different days, to give it the advantage. I gave some to friends and spouse-same review. Hate to downgrade it, but save your money - try another tea.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea has just the right ammount of mint. It does not fight with the green tea flavor as so many other "moroccan mint" teas do.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
As peppermint has always been, and will always be, my favorite tea (no matter how well-developed I continue to grow in my knowledge/experience with tea), I tried this on a store associate's suggestion.
Oh, how I wish I had never listened.
The first cup I gagged down; it tasted like cigarette water. Like the disgusting aftertaste of a cheap menthol cigarette.
I again tried to blend it with peppermint, as the associate swore she loved because she "really loves mint."
Well, I really love mint, so maybe this would work.
NO.
It simply tainted the peppermint and left me again with that same weird, bitter aftertaste.
I warned a coworker, but she decided to try it for herself.
No surprise; she feels she wasted money on the 2 oz. she bought, because she immediately threw it out.
If you like mint, PLEASE GO FOR PEPPERMINT INSTEAD!!!
I love all mint, spearmint perhaps even more, but this was a total letdown and has so far been the only Teavana tea I've disliked this strongly!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This is by far the best green tea I've tried. The mint flavor is just right. I love adding a little extra sweetener to make it a sweet spearmint undertone. Smoky flavor hits the back of your throat and makes a lovely drink. This is by far my favorite green tea I have tried.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
The mint flavor isn't nearly as strong as a mint herbal tea, but it's a nice accent. The tea has a stronger flavor than most green teas that I'm used to. Very good.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
i want more mint flavor!!!
i add more, i get nothing more.
it's good if you want a very light flavored tea.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I drink 2 cups of this tea every morning, and have for the last two years. I have stomach problems which often flare up in the morning and the mint in this tea is very soothing. The taste of this tea is far above any other loose leaf tea brand I have ever tried! LOVE IT!
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I got this a while ago and liked it, then when i started in glass blowing this year an instructor suggested using a mint green tea when in the studio (which can reach over 100* F) so i gave it a shot and it has helped keep me cool (as a drink and because it has the mint in it).
i drink about a gallon of this tea a week when i work in the studio and i love it.
Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This is a great tea after a meal or if you are feeling under-the-weather.
