I received this as a gift from one of my best frieds. Whenever her and I get together we sit down and have a glass of tea. This is the perfect way for both of us to blend our own tea without putting too much or not enough in and not making it strong enough, or maybe even too weak for the other person. We basically have the same taste when it comes to tea and the flavors she bought are wonderful. I know people love watching the tea infuse but if you are in a rush you can get the tea bags like she purchased for me and then make it before you go somewhere and just have that blend w/ you incase you decide to have a tea while you are away from home, or you can put the tea in the bag and just remove the infuser if you are a little clumsy and are afraid you will break yours. The best thing about this gift, you can do it however you want and use any flavors you want. I completely recommend this to anyone who loves tea.

This is the prettiest & most functional cup!
The lid keeps the tea hot, the infuser lets you see the tea dancing around as it steeps.. just gorgeous!
Have not had any issues with cleaning as previous reviewers, also the cup seems much sturdier than one would expect from a glass cup.
Great purchase at a great price !

My boss has one of these and loves it but I accidentally bumped it and the middle part broke. The mug and lid are still together but the inside was shattered. Have to get another one now.

I love this mug. It is so nice to watch the tea unfurl and admire the beautiful color, BUT I only had it for 3 weeks before my Hubby broke it, We are ordering 2 more but we'll see how long these last. I just wish it was less fragile or my significant other wasn't such a klutz!

I received this mug as a Christmas gift from my coworker. It's a gorgeous mug and I love its shape. I even love that it's a thin glass, it makes me feel like I'm drinking out of something special when I use it and I like the sound the lid makes when I place it on the mug. It's perfect for brewing tea at my desk while I'm at work, which is how I use it. My only complaint about this is that many particles of tea escape through the infuser and end up in the bottom of my mug. It's not a huge deal, but it's annoying and I would prefer that it didn't do that. I end up not drinking the last sip or so because I don't want the particles in my mouth.

I ordered this glass and some tea as a gift for my mom. Got it in time for xmas but the diffuser is warped so that the lid doesn't fit. Plan to exchange it, but won't have time before xmas, so mom has to open a defective gift and give it straight back. Too bad, because it is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to drink out of it myself! Would definitely recommend as long as many people don't complain of the same problem.

Yes, this tea cup is very delicate. You have to handle it with utmost care. I have now 8 of these cups. We often use these beautiful and fun cups to have tea at the end of our dinner parties. Our friends LOVE them and we always have a lot of fun during our "tea ceremony" (we have a great selection of Teavana teas and truly enjoy them). I do wash the cups in the dishwasher (top rack)making sure they are secure and don't "dangle" while there. In the last 4-5 years my husband cracked one infuser. Not a bad track record. Not only I would recommend this to my friends, I GAVE these mugs to my friends as gifts. Just be mindful of how delicate these mugs are - they are well worth your special care!

I love my Joli glass mug with infuser and have been using it daily for over one year. Yes, some tea leaves due get stuck in the infuser slits. However, they are very easy to remove. With a wet tooth brush, brush the infuser slits... comes out clean every time.

I just received this mug and it is very pretty. It is very light, thin and delicate. I love the shape and the delicateness of it. I do wish that it was made of thicker glass so as to be more sturdy and hardy.

I do love this product, it enhances my enjoyment as it keeps the tea warm and provides a brewing visual. However, the infuser slits are so small that it makes it a challenge to clean, which, overtime, makes the infuser slow to drain. To me, it looks as though the slits are clean, but there are tiny pieces clogging. And, the infuser appears so delicate that you can't clean it too aggressively.

The first time my infuser broke, I blamed myself. I use the Joli mug and infuser at work and left the infuser in the dish drainer for an hour to drip dry. I figured someone clunked something against it. However, I just broke my SECOND infuser when I dropped in the sink while washing it. The infusers break to easily and need to be sold separately. It's too bad, because otherwise the mug is very beautiful, and the infuser works much better than the cheap teaball I tried using before this.

I love this little cup. It is so perfect. My husband and I don't drink the same kind of tea so a tea pot was not our best option. It's easy to clean and it's the just the right size. Some of the tea falls through the infuser part so i'll have to get use to drinking tea leaves. Thats ok it's a wonderful and lovely cup.

I've had this since July 2009 and have enjoyed it each time I use it! I love having a lid to keep the tea hot, and it doubles as a place to put the infuser while I'm on the computer reading the morning news.
I found that the infuser fits perfectly into a taller mug I had so if I want more tea I'm able to use it that way as well. I'm online now ordering one for a friend.

Absolutely love the cup but have broken 2 infusers in 10 months--the infuser is extremely delicate. I seldom break anything, but last night it slipped about 3" coming out of the dishwasher and broke on the plastic-padded upper dishwasher rack. Joli needs to create a strong infuser (perhaps metal)or provide inexpensive glass replacements as a separate item.

I got this Saturday along with some blossom tea and it really is fantastic, however, I did find that if you use a tea like Earl Grey or something in it, little bits of tea get stuck in the infuser slits. Fear not, just take some floss and you can get them out very easily. However, DO NOT try to clean it in the sink with high water pressure! I did this, my hand slipped, and the infuser fell and broke. Sadly, they don't sell just the infusers, so now I have to buy a whole 'nother cup.

I bought this the other day so I could have tea at the office without having to bring my Perfect Tea Maker with meback and forth from home. The Joli looks nice and you can always see the tea pearls (or whatever)unfurl before your eyes and produce a nice color. It also strains a lot better than the other mugs with holes. The Joli still leaks some very small and fine granules but it's not enough to bother me. However, the slits to get small tea bits stuck in them and are rather hard to get out. As of right now I have a couple of pieces stuck in there and am unable to get them out with high water pressure. All in all this is a good product for the office, but for home I would definitely recommend the Perfect Tea Maker.

The cup with the infuser is a great addition to my husband's love for tea.
But so far, 2 infusers broke. They are very delicate at the bottom part.

This mug is so pretty! It has a very simple design, but I'm impressed each time I make tea in it. I like that you can see the colour of the tea you're brewing and you get to watch the tea unfurl or just dance in the water. I'm a little scared I will break it though, it seems to delicate! But so far no incidents, and I'm going to buy more as gifts for sure.

This infuser mug is of a much better quality than the Yves glass tea infuser mug. I had the Yves mug 2 monthsn before the infuser cracked (I took very good care of it!). This mug is much more sturdy and it strains the tea well.

The only problem is that the steeper can be difficult to clean because the tea gets stuck in the slits. I suppose that is to be expected with this type of mug.

The mug itself is very nice but very delicate. It retains the heat of the tea very well. The infuser slits are very tiny, but small grounds of tea still seep through so when you're done brewing, instead of having a clear cup of tea you have lots of little granules in the tea and on the bottom of the mug. I would recommend this only if you're going to use whole leaf tea or unless you don't mind having granules of tea floating around. It would also be nice if there was a way to judge how much water you should add when you don't have a measuring cup.

This looks very delicate and elegant but amazed me by keeping my tea hot for a very long time.

The Infuser wisely has narrow slits to drain the water through, this makes it more difficult for small particles to escape into the cup and is easier to clean than lots of little holes. Watching the tea dance is beautiful too.
