I ordered it once (20 OZ) and I certainly do not regret! It was my first tea ever that contained pepper, and it was a bit weird to get start with. But once I got used to it I got hooked. I drink like 1 CAN a day of this super tastefull tea. My friends liked the tea aswell and they even are no real "tea-drinkers"

I really like this one. It reminds me of an orange cinnamon tea I used to drink. It has a definite cinnamon flavor. The only negative is minor: I'd prefer an even stronger cinnamon bite to it. When I like a flavor, I want it to be strong. Great tea, though!

This is by far, in my opinion, the best Teavana tea out there. Granted I am a big fan of Chai and I have yet to try ALL of the Teavana teas, but I would think this one is hard to beat.

It is spicy with cinnamon, clove, and pepper notes - however, it is smooth and clean tasting unlike most powerful chai's on the market. If you prefer to balance some of the spice with sweetness, you can add 5 or 6 chunks of German rock sugar to it for a nice sweet treat. I am not a big sweet tooth person, so if I need to add a touch of sweetness I typically go with 1-2 rocks of sugar for a nice little sweet note.

I truly did not think I liked tea... until I came across Teavana. Of all their teas I have tried... and enjoyed... none compares to White Ayurvedic Chai.

The scent is intoxicating and the flavor is unforgettable. The cinnamon and clove stay with me long after I have finished the cup. Even in the hot Southern California summer, I enjoy this tea any time of day or night.

I love it in morning mixed with Samurai Chai Mate'. The spiciness of the White Ayurvedic Chai mixed with the sultry taste and caffeine kick from the Mate' gets my day started off right. That same blend in the afternoon keeps my energy up!

In the evening, with a touch of sweetener and I've got my dessert.

Hands down this is my all-around favorite tea.

Realatively new to the tea world, this tea stood out to me when I tried it in the store. I had a craving for it. It's NATURALLY the perfect sweet without the need for additional sugar. I love that. I generally drink it when I want a fuller tea and something a little sweet and spicy. Two most notable flavors are the coconut and Cinnamon.
One thing I'm not too crazy about is it's a bit hard to get the perfect brew. just a few seconds too long will leave a bitter after taste. Too few seconds steeping it will not have a strong flavor. It has a notable cinnamon after taste so be ready for it.

This is one of my more favorite teas. The sweet fruity cinnamon scent is to die for. I like it better outside of the Chai/Chai blend they offer, but the blend is a good mix-up.

I am usually not a big fan of white teas, but this one hits the spot. And it makes a fantastic tea latte, just brew it with milk instead of water and add a little sugar = pure heaven. It is a bit weak so I tend to add a little more or brew for longer than instructed to pull more of the spices out.

I love chai tea anyway but was blown away the first time I tried this. I really enjoy the spicy cinnamon flavor so I brew it strong (1.5-2x the directed amt of tea per cup) and steep it much longer than directed (5-7 minutes). The result is a spicy/sweet delight. My only gripe is that a bag of this stuff never seems to last very long in my house :-)

Very unique chai. Has a predominantly spicy (in a more herbal way, not a heat way)with complementing tropical undertones. the tastes are well balanced, some more predominant but not overpowering. it has a smooth transition, no gap between flavors. Great sweetend with a splash of milk!

This tea has earned the reputation of "God's Nectar" in our dorm. We all love to drink this tea! I like to brew mine extra strong and it's actually a blended with the Samurai Mate. This is my 'go to tea'. I love this tea. I drink it at breakfast and at night. I drink it when I need to 'pamper' me. I love the flavor...subtle yet diverse. This is a smooth tea. I first sampled this tea in the store and loved it. It was mixed with Samurai Chai Mate. The smell is unbelievable. This tea is amazing. My son was sick with fever/sore throat/cough for 5 days and gave it to his brother who was also sick for 5 days. I have a very poor immune system and get sick easily. I drank 1-2 cups of this a day and didnt get sick at all. I also lost 5 pounds in a week and a half. I cant say enough about this tea and all the other teas at Teavana. I absolutely love this tea. It's my favorite of the five or so blends I've tried at Teavana. It's a great chai--spicy, warm and aromatic. Can really taste/smell the cinnamon in it. However, after purchasing the tea in store, I was surprised to learn that this is not just a white tea, but a white and green tea blend. This is not something that was mentioned at the store, but that I found after looking at the ingredients on this website. Not necessarily a bad thing--just surprised to learn this.

I find that the cinnamon is overwhelming in this tea. I'm tempted to say that this is just a matter personal preference. But I think that the cinnamon is so strong that it hides all of the other wonderful spices in the tea. Lighten up on the cinnamon and let the other spices shine a little.

My love affair with this blend began at first sniff. I was enthralled because it smelled fruity and floral and spicy all at once. Once I found out what was in this particular blend, I had to try it. That sold me! Every time I go to Teavana, I pick up at least a 1/4 lb of it. It tastes fabulous by itself, but its ability to "sing" with other teas (my personal fav combination is White Ayurvedic Chai and Earl Grey) just makes it even more special. The only thing I have to watch against is steeping it too long. If steeped too long, it takes on a bitter taste which I think comes from the cinnamon. I love this tea and serve it to almost everyone who comes to see me and drinks tea.

This tea is delicious, and it's almost always the best part of my day. I first tried it in the store as the blended sample, and fell in love. I was worried that, when I made it, it wouldn't be as good as the tea in-store, but the instructions that were given solved that could-be problem. Since, by itself caffeine isn't a problem, I can enjoy an extremely relaxing cup of tea before I head to bed. The only thing that I changed about the preparation instructions was simply making it stronger, and I was happy to find that it has never gotten bitter, no matter how long I've let it steep. I always feel like I'm indulging, but I also know how healthy this tea is, which part of what makes it so awesome :)

I'm an avid tea drinker and this has been the most satisfying, delicious, and delightful tea I have ever tried! It has a noticeable amount of sweetness which is not overbearing- so there's no need for sugar and it has all of the warm spices that you'd expect from a cup of traditional chai tea except with the infusion of delicious fruits such as coconut. Whenever I sip this tea I always find myself smiling when I finish.

I tried this mixed with Sumari Chai Mate at the store and immediately told the salesperson, "I want that!" I got 2 separate tins so I can enjoy this tea by itself at night without the caffeine from the Sumari Chai Mate. It has an awesome chai taste, but is not super sweet. The blend I tried in the store used the rock sugar. I have been trying to cut down on sugar, so I didn't purchase it. But the sweetness with the sugar did taste awesome!

My father was raised in a family that only drank lipton tea with either sugar and milk or honey and lemon. No one deviated from this set. Yesterday I purchased for the first time the White Ayurvedic Chai and went home and made a cup of tea for myself and my dad. Came across a Teavana store while visiting a friend in Dallas. They had this tea combined with the Samurai Chai Mate as a sample that day and the smell was fantastic. Just had to try it. This chai has a nice kick to it, but the cinnamon flavor overpowers everything else. I like chais where you can taste the individual spices, and although cardamom and clove are included in the ingredients I can't taste them at all (and cardamom is one of my favorite flavors so that disappointed me) OR taste the tea itself. The cinnamon also has a slightly fake aroma - some people have mentioned that the tea smells like red-hot candies, and to me that's an artificial scent. Even adding milk doesn't help. It just tastes like fake-cinnamon-flavored milk.

I get really bad anxiety attacks almost daily from stress and other factors, recently it has interfered with my life. During one of my attacks, my husband made me some of my white chai, and after a couple of cups I felt better. It helps to calm my nerves and also helps me sleep. Recently I was visiting friends in Seattle. While shopping, I noticed a Teavana store. If the employee had not offered me a sample, I am not sure that I would have taken the time to stop. Well, that was all that it took for this to become my favorite. I do not live in an area with a Teavana store, unfortunately but I order online and have been very happy with everything that I have tried. This White Ayurvedic Chai is my absolute favorite and the default tea that I drink when I can't decide. My co-workers loved the smell so much that after I let them taste it, we all placed a large order. We are all impressed by the quality of the tea; definitely the best.

I consider myself a tea expert, as I have worked in a similar tea cafe for years and dabble in herbalism as well. I prefer medicinal teas and blends that offer cleansing benefits. I visited Teavana mostly to browse, at first I didn't find anything too extraordinary. By suggestion, I was shown this tea and instantly shrieked, "That one!" It smells like christmas, you could probably clear out your sinus cavity just from the whiff of it! I tried it as soon as I got home and instantly felt energized(which is saying a lot, as I have been immobile for over 6 months, diabetic and also a singer with a sore throat!) The combination of pepper/cloves/cinnamon/ginger is good for circulation, and the white tea gives it a really nice, delicate balance. I can't tolerate drinking chai on a regular basis, as the black tea is super dehydrating. Overall, this is a great tea that I am super impressed by. If you are looking for a tea you can drink anytime, or a cleansing tonic to help battle colds/improve circulation, this is definitely it!

I first came across this tea at the mall as a sample. The minute it hit my tongue, I knew that I wanted to take some home. I was looking for a drink to replace my afternoon coffee and also something to warm my bones since my employer keeps the building COLD and thought this sounded interesting. The thought of red & black pepper in my tea sounded crazy, but once I tasted the tea it was INCREDIBLE. All the other flavors balance out the peppers so its not like putting crushed red pepper on your pizza. I compare it to a strong cinnamon. Very warming, very energizing and a great mid-day treat. I've had plenty of Chai drinks, Chai lattes, Chai teas, Oregon Chai, etc...but I realized after drinking Teavana's White Ayurvedic Chai that I had never had pure, real chai before. There are no syrups, sugars, or creams to mask this tea and I'm surprised at how much better it is unmasked.

Even if you don't generally like chai, I suggest trying this out. It's has a mild spicy profile that at first sip is very mellow and smooth but every few sips leaves a subtle but noticable flavor kick in the back of your throat. It is a perfect tea for warming up on a cold day/night as the properties of red pepper and cloves definitely send some warming sensations throughout the body.

This tea is very easy to customize to your momentary flights of fancy...if you want something spicy, add more tea. If you just want a soothing, warm bodied drink, add the recommended amount. The main flavor is definitely cinnamon but not straight up cinnamon and not the "fake" taste of cinnamon we're used to...it's rich and warm, not hot or overpowering.

This is an excellent alternative to all the flowery and fruity teas. I definitely suggest not passing this one by...this is not your typical Chai!

This is an amazing white blend chai. I use it every day mixing it with Mate Vana or the Samurai Chai Mate, it helps to give me that bold pick me up I need in the morning with the Mate teas, I also mix it with Sweet Oolong Revolution which is my favorite combination. This is the first tea I tried when I discovered Teavana (blended with the Smaurai Chai) and it's what made me fall in love with tea and Teavana. So, for Christmas, I received 2oz of tea from my Dad, because a few years before I had asked him to get me one of those dragon teapots. The tea that he gave me was delicious. I looked at the bag and the first thing I read was "White Ayurdevic Chai". That night, I decided to buy a good 1/4 pound of it. Anyway, when it came in the mail, it didn't taste like my present. So I grabbed the bag, and read that it was WITH Samurai Chai Mate. The mixture made ALL the difference! Sure, this white tea was spicy, but it didn't have enough kick to it without the mate. I mean, when I opened the blend, I did not need the use of sweetener or cream - it left a sweet aftertaste with the primary spice cinnamon, while still tasting the coconut and pineapple. Just by itself I tasted the coconut and some cinnamon, just not to the extent of the mixture, and the sweetness was barely there. By the way, for all the teas, instead of buying the expensive rock sugar, I just buy evaporated cane juice or clover honey to bring out the flavors.

This is my favorite tea to make as a latte. I have a great cheapo espresso machine that I make steamed milk to top a nice big mug of this at nights after the gym. To make the latte: I use leaves to make 16oz of tea in my perfect tea maker, but brew water for a single 8oz cup, then and add the other 8oz of hot milk with the freshly brewed tea in a tall mug with sugar. Steam the milk to top off my White Ayurvedic Chai latte. Yummo!!

Wow. I mixed this with the Samurai Chai Mate and it's pretty much the best tea I've EVER had! I tasted a sample in the store and just had to buy some. It's a little pricey, but you end up with 2oz. of both kinds. Worth every penny. It starts out with a sweet and spicy cinnamon flavor then the cinnamon mellows out and you get a slight taste of orange. Incredible. The smell alone is wonderful; like freshly baked cinnamon buns. My mother bought me my first teavana set and tea as a GIFT when I came home from the hospital after having my son. It was the perfect gift! We found a decaf Chai that I drank while breast-feeding, then I went to the Teavana store and was encouraged to try this particular Chai. Recently I went to a well known coffee shop and ordered Chai with apple juice. i was asked if I wanted it served hot or cold; my personal preference was cold as I was warm and thirsty and wanted something to cool me off. I loved it! Generally I do not enjoy strong tasting spicy/fruity tea, but this one was excellent. So off I went in search of the perfect Chai and I found it at Teavana. The flavor is hearty and distinquishable when blended with other juices such as apple, berry etc which is my preference. It is refreshing, smooth and actually sweet. I love it! I have tried it as a hot beverage and did not like it as much. But again I am not fond of hot, spicy, fruity tea. If you are, I highly recommend it. It is my number 1 as a cold drink. I tried this tea this evening, and it was so easy and quick to make! It is a wonderfully light, yet flavorful tea, with a lovely color and intoxicating smell. I enjoyed it, both with and without the small amount of sugar I put in (admittedly the smallest amount I had ever put in tea, ever). Normally, I need a diabetic's nightmare of sugar in my tea, but a very small amount was sufficient to make this tea incredibly wonderful.

This tea, brewed with Samuarai Chai Mate, just blows my mind. I keep it at work, and every morning, I actually look forward to coming into the office, because I get to brew this. I bought 2 oz of this, and 2 oz of Samurai Chai Mate. Like other reviewers below, I think this should be brewed strong. I use 5 tsp per cup, and let it steep 4-6 mins (otherwise, it's not as sweet). It's pretty expensive and comes to almost [$] a cup the way I brew it, but it is really good. Lots of cinnamon, and a funny sweetness that hits you under your tongue after you swallow.

This is a very good tea - light, spicy, and refreshing. It also does not suffer from long brewing like most other whites; I find it handles multiple steepings quite well without becoming bitter.

I love Chai Teas and ordered this with the Samurai as soon as they came out. The cinnamon spice makes this one. Not bitter at all like other white teas and I have noticed you can let it sit longer to steep so it will be stronger. Also you can add maybe a half a scoop to the old and get another serving or two out of it. Would like to find other teas to blend this with.

I loved this tea, from the amazing smell, to the wonderful taste. I even tasted the tea leaves themselves. This was a delicious tea, light, fruity, and spicy. Perfect for anyone who likes things a little different. I just wish they had a longer list of the ingredients, because I'd like to know what some of the little particles are just for my own curiosity!

I bought two oz. of this with two oz. of Samurai Chai Mate and am HOOKED!

My teenage sisters sampled some and fell for it; they keep making me make them cups!

It has a spicy smell and a lighter, sweet taste (once some stevia is added!). You can definitely smell the cloves and hint of ginger, but it's not a stinging spice; the sweet balances out.

This will be a switch-up for my usual morning MateVana/Rooibos Chai routine.

To me, this tastes just like a weaker version of the samurai chai mate, which was disappointing. Not that I dislike either, but they're both too citrus-y for me and I was expecting more of a kick from the pepper. Also, I can't taste any coconut. And this is after brewing it with an entire extra teaspoon. Again, it isn't bad, but not as unusual as I thought it would be.

I try different teas every few weeks. I purchased this and shared with my husband. It has enough spice to interest him. The cinnamon and spices makes the tea a little more masculine and still soothing. I had it for breakfast on the way to work this morning. It keeps me warm and calm during my commute. I also drink before bed or make as iced tea. This is one of 2 teas my husband really enjoys.

The first time I made it he did comment it was a little weak but I notice most of the Teavana teas are if you follow the guidelines. I usually put in an extra teaspoon or a half teaspoon to make it a little stronger but you can make it as strong as you like.

For a white tea, it is not bitter at all and is ready very quickly.

This tea definitately has a kick to it from the black and red pepper! I like it but it is something I wouldn't drink all the time, as it is very unique in flavor. Not something I would serve to just anyone.
