I am obsessed with this tea! It's perfection - light minty taste with hints of chocolate. As always, the taste differs based on the water heat and steep time, but I don't believe this tea can be ruined. Great as a tea latte. One of the best teavana teas I've tried. I just love it.

I read the reviews about this tea and purchased it yesterday because I really wanted to try something totally different. I usually buy teas with a nutty/spicy flavor, but I really liked the idea that this had not only the mint and chocolate, but also hazelnut undertones. The tea is exquisite!!!!!!! I think it would be the perfect after dinner drink, but I'm so in love with it that I can completely see myself drinking it anytime. It is so aromatic, and the smell very closely matches the flavor. Upon first sip I taste the chocolate and the hazelnut, and the mint is a burst right at the end which is refreshing and fabulous!! I will certainly re-purchase!!!!

I love chocolate flavored coffee's but find they cause my teeth to hurt, so was a bit worried about trying this. Turns out that the tea doesn't cause my teeth any problems. I wanted to compare it to a black tea flavored york pepperment patty, but think it has more in common with a girlscout thinmint :). I drink a cup at work, usually later in the day before I head home.

If you are a fan of Mint & Chocolate together, you will surely enjoy this blend. The minty taste and aroma comes instantly, you definitely taste the chocolately undertone, and slightly notice the hazelnut as a complement to it. I personally was sold on the scent of this tea alone.

This has easily become my after dinner reward, I can see myself keeping it re-stocked for a long time.

My friends and I all like mint & chocolate in just about anything, but everyone has different taste, do some research before gifting to a friend.

This tea is just okay in my book. At first it tastes great but when the mint flavor comes out it just leaves me with a medicinal aftertaste. Kind of like a cough drop.

This is one of the first teas I tried and I am in love! The best way to describe it is a very light rendition of a Girl Scout's Thin Mint cookie- The chocolate flavor is very light and the mint is not overpowering. It is a very smooth drink and leaves a very clean taste. I added a small amount of the German sugar to the second pot I drank and it was even more delicious! Definitely recommend!

I bought this tea on a whim, and wow do I love it! I read a few reviews so I splashed some soy milk and rock sugar in with it and it was amazing! The chocolate taste is light enough to get hints of and mixes really well with the mint creating a lovely afternoon pick-me-up. Tastes almost as delicious iced as it does hot. If you want more flavor add an extra tsp, don't steep it longer or else it becomes very bitter.

I drink this tea whenever I feel like it. I gave it as a Christmas gift this year to a friend and she fell in love with the very chocolate/mint aroma that filled her kitchen and really loved the tea itself. It's like eating candy!

This is like dessert in a cup! I usually brew it strong. I love the ratio of the mint and chocolate together, neither of them overpower the other. This is one of my favorites that calm my sweet tooth... But, sometimes I still eat it with a sugar cookie or two!:)

Like many of the flavored black teas, the tea itself is a bit weak and extra tea is necessary to get the full flavor. I typically double the amount at two teaspoons per cup.

The mint is the overwhelming note in this tea. The chocolate and hazelnut seem to impart only a little of their aroma or flavor.

That is to say, this is not a bad tea and is pleasant but does not quite live up to the high expectation I had when purchasing it.

I am in love with this tea! I drink it every night after dinner to replace my bowl of mint chocolate chip icecream. And boy oh boy, does it taste better than the icecream! My first visit to Teavana has been a major success. First the people who helped me were amazing and very helpful!

I am first and foremost a fan of mint/chocolate and the aroma of this tea is just incredible. I also purchased the tea steeper and just couldn't wait to get home. It only took me twice to find my perfect prep for this. I use the German Sugar which I add in the steeping process and for 16 oz I use a 1/4 c of whole milk. It is so comforting and soothing. The chocolate and mint are evenly balanced and one doesn't really overpower the other. With the milk and sugar, it sweetens the tea just right and makes it even more dessert like.

I am going back tomorrow to buy another 4 oz!

Ehh, not as rich and chocolaty as I expected. Tastes a little flat and dry perhaps the mint is a little overpowering for me. Not a terrible tea just flat and minty like over chewed gum.

This tea is amazing; it's one of my favourites. I will admit that the chocolate notes are a bit subtle if you don't add cream and/or sugar, but that's not a bad thing. It's a very smooth tea, with a good feel in the mouth and the taste lingers perfectly.

I don't care for this tea on it's own but blended with Azteca Fire it's the perfect balance for me. It does remind me a little of mouthwash without the Azteca Fire.

This really is like peppermint patties or thin mint cookies in tea form--so it wakes me up as well as satisfying cravings. Drinking this instead of eating candy or cookies isn't even a sacrifice!

This tea has a delightful touch of chocolate and a strong, but in my opinion not overpowering, undercurrent of mint. I'm not sure what the tea base is (other than "black"), but I'd like something a bit stronger. This tea definitely needs milk, but beware that this is NOT hot chocolate! If that is what you are looking for, you'll be disappointed as it is rather light.

I loved this tea the first time I tried it! The mint flavor gives this tea a real kick in the pants. I have a co-worker who is a consumate coffee drinker and normally dislikes tea - she came down with a nasty head cold, and I made her a cup of this - she couldn't tell it wasn't coffee until I told her! (Although, a stuffy nose most likely contributed to her error!) This tea is wonderful for all times of the day or when you just need a good pick-me-up. Also good iced, or with a bit of cream and rock cane sugar. *WARNING* This tea must be brewed properly, because it's just nasty bitter otherwise!

I found this tea intriguing simply by its name. I've always been fond of the chocolate and mint combination, so I gave this tea a try one day, and I absolutely love it. I drink it every morning now. A friend of mine introduced me to a combination of Peppermint Tea and Azteca Fire, which I thoroughly enjoy in the evening as it is minimally caffeinated. But I like a little pick-me-up in the morning. So I just swapped the Peppermint Tea with Cocoa Mint Black, and I can't get enough of it!

I do have to be very precise in my steeping times, however. Too long, and it's fairly bitter. I've begun adding about a half teaspoon of brown sugar to 10 oz of tea so I don't have to be quite so careful. I'm often busy in the mornings, and I tend not to hear the timer beep when my tea is done. But the sugar also gives is a nice smooth flavor that the combination doesn't have on its own. I find that I actually enjoy it more with the sugar, and I'm saddened why my tea is gone!

I have been searching for a tea with mint that WOWED me and I have found it. Even family that aren't crazy about tea just love this one. Beware - this mix can be addicting. If your craving a dessert but don't want or can't have the sugar or calories then this tea will provide you with the feeling and satisfaction that you've just cheated.

I love this tea!!! I inquired about a chocolate tea after reading about a chocolate tea in a mag. I did not have any particular brand in mind so was pretty much green when I went into Teavana. After, I asked about a chocolate tea the clerk allowed me to smell the leaves which were absolutely wonderful!! I purchased a single cup and left the store to walk around the mall while my tea cooled and I tasted. Within less than 5 mins.I returned to the store and purchased an 8oz supply!!!!! I am sure I will be back SOON!!!!!

I am not a fan of black tea...they always seem to strong for me, but this tea was GREAT! I mixed it with a touch of the cane suger & YUM!!! This tea tastes like an Andes mint! If you like mint chocolate, this is the tea for you. This would be great mixed with a bit of cream or milk.

I really like this tea any time but in the morning is really good when it is cold outside. The chocolate and the mint blend really well. When brewed correctly it is not bitter. I like it with just a little sugar. The mint taste you get after it leaves your mouth is just wonderful

This is a delicious tea that fits a wide profile of taste buds. I highly recommend adding cream as it enhances the cocoa flavor which otherwise can be weak (I usually forgo adding sugar and cream). Drink as a treat, since the character is too much like an after dinner mint for general use.

This mint in this is strong enough to not be overpowered by the cacao. Chocolate and mint have always been a favorite combination for me, but I never would have thought to combine the two in a tea.

I was glad I tried this tea even though the ladies at the Teavana counter seemed reluctant to recommend it for some reason. It was delicious! I drank it w/o any sweetners and it tasted just like chocolate mints. It satisified my sweet tooth and the mint flavor helped soothe my stomach after my meal. I am sure it would be extra delicious with a splash of milk and some sugar. WOW!
