Almond Biscotti is my favorite of all Teavana teas. It caught my eye in the store (I love almond and cookies) and I had to try it. Not overly artificial in the almond like a lot of almond flavored treats. I highly recommend this as a gift or for your daily morning brew.

I bought this at the counter the other day as an impulse buy. I was told that the aroma matches the flavor very well, and I am a huge fan of almonds so I had to give it a try.

The flavor is quite enjoyable, however, next time I will be adding an extra half teaspoon or so to get more of that bold flavor to come through. I really enjoy the deep flavor of good quality teas, but my only mistake was not using enough in a 16oz steep.

The salesman was dead on with this, as he recommended it because of my other tea purchases in that same outing. The flavor really does carry through with the aroma after steeping and makes for a nice bodied black tea infusion.

I love this tea! I got it as part of the Tea of the Month club and it is my favorite yet. I make a thermos of this every morning with a bit of rock sugar and milk to bring to work. My work tea in the past had been Assam Gold Rain Black Tea for a while, and then Samarai Chai Mate. I love a good Chai, but I have to say I have enjoyed this tea much more. It is strong enough to be very flavorful even on a second brew, but not too strong. It has a very nice nutty and sweet flavor. I don't think I'd call it "cookie-like" but it is very good nonetheless. I will definitely buy more when I run out. This is one of the Teavana teas that has made my coffee-loving husband a tea drinker.

I was so glad to find this tea on Teavana after the company I regularly bought a similar tea stopped selling that particular tea. This tea is almost identical and I love it. I mix in local honey and a splash of vanilla soy milk for a perfect cup. If you use too much tea or steep too long, it will turn bitter.

The first couple of times I tried this tea, I mixed it with a couple of different teas...I didn't really like it. I started drinking it alone with either cream and sugar or low fat sweetened condensed milk and I LOVE it!! I either drink it between breakfast and lunch or as a dessert tea and it's very satisfying.

When I saw that this tea had a "cookie-like" flavor, I was so excited. I mean, who doesn't like cookies?!? Sadly, when I brewed a cup, I tasted no cookies and what I did taste, I didn't really enjoy. What I tasted was a regular black tea with an artificial twinge to it. I can drink this tea if I mix it with Toasted Nut Brulee Oolong and add German rock sugar and milk.

Reviews are highly subjective and one person's favorite tea may be another person's least. I tend to like light, fruity, sweet white teas or herbal infusions as well as the occasional green tea as long as it's not too earthy or vegetal tasting. I also like spicy teas such as a good cup of chai, as well as teas with cinnamon and/or vanilla. I tend to dislike robust black teas, anything that tastes like coffee, and anything with a floral smell and/or flavor. To give you a better understanding of why I didn't like this tea, here is how I have rated other teas:

I originally received this tea as a gift from a co-worker who knew I loved tea and I loved it so much that I came back and bought more myself. It is wonderful if you don't let it steep too long. About a minute is perfect, but much longer than that and it will be bitter. I love mine with a healthy dose of sugar and some milk. Perfect when you want a little indulgence of sweetness.

Its very bitter to start off with. I even add local honey to it. The after taste is nice through, very nutty and cookiesque. I think next time I'm going to try it with a splash of Almond milk to see if it takes some of the edge off or mix it with another suggested tea.

This is a really good tea IF brewed properly! You really have to follow the ratio and time instructions, otherwise it becomes bitter and fake sweet at once. If brewed properly though, it's amazing! I use rock sugar and almond milk with it which is perfect, especially as a relaxing evening tea :).

I got this tea blended with the Cha Yen Thai black tea. It smelled amazing and I am a fan of strong, nutty dessert teas. Well, I tried it the first time, adding sugar, and it tasted disgusting! It was bitter and medicinal and had a cloying cookie taste. I tried it again, with more sugar and a lower steep temperature (I've found some of the black teas need to be steeped around 180-185 if they're delicate) and it was still cloying and artificial.

I got this tea as a replacement tea for Toasted Hazelnut Creme Brulee Tea, which was much too spicy for my taste. You can really taste the almond flavor with just a hint of the cinnamon, which works well for me. This tea is perfect for breakfast or any other time.

To tone down the artificial, "cookie" flavor of this tea and give it more guts, I blended it half and half with the Irish Black tea, which I don't see on this site any longer, sadly. With a bit of cream added, the resulting blend is EXCELLENT: very smooth and energizing. I can only recommend this tea if it is blended it with another unflavored black tea. I DO hope the Irish black tea is brought back!

From start to finish this tea is a winner. The look of the tea is rich, organic and very textural. The scent of the unsteeped product is tantalizing. The steeping tea is quite aromatic. The flavor does not disappoint even compared to its rich and enticing scent. Who needs the biscotti; this tea with milk or a french vanilla creamer is all I needed!

The first time I brewed this tea it was a little too spicy for my liking.
The second time around I decided to experiment a little and added some milk and what a difference it made.
I usually add about a tsp of rock sugar to my tea anyway, but the milk made me fall in love with this tea! I love the smell especially.

Add a little french vanilla creamer to this tea and it opens up with a beautiful body. It's a lovely tea, not too strong as I imagined it would be though if you let it sit for awhile it does get that bitter tea flavor. It's an awesome tea that i recommend to ANYONE who is just being introduced to loose leaf tea. It retains that black tea flavor that people who arent a fan of fruity and aromatic teas might be but at the same time is a great find!! Its wonderful anytime, love to wake up and cool down with it!

Really wanted to love this tea after reading several reviews that said it tasted just like a biscotti cookie. First brew came out very bitter even though I put ice cubes into the perfect tea maker before pouring in the water (which was not to the boiling point). Dumped everything out and tried again, this time adding more ice and the water in the pot was cooler than the first time. Also used less tea leaves (exactly 1 tsp). Still not impressed with this tea. Tasted like black tea, but did not have the sweetness I was looking for. Tried other reviewers suggestions of adding sugar, milk or honey but none were to my liking (I usually add no sweetners or dairy to my teas).

I will probably end up giving this tea away so I can have my tin free for another new flavor to try.

My husband bought this tea when he first visited Teavana to buy me The Perfect Tea Maker and a few teas to sample. He couldn't resist the name "almond biscotti" or the aroma of the tea. Of the four he bought that day, this was our favorite and I just bought 4 more ounces. I am sensitive to caffeine so I only drink it in the morning or afternoon. I serve it with sugar (less than a teaspoon is enough) and a splash of soy creamer. The sugar and creamer enhance the sweet and creamy flavor of the tea and round out the cookie flavor. I would recommend this tea to anyone who likes black tea, almonds, cookies, cinnamon, or a soothing breakfast/dessert drink.

I've made hot cocoa with roasted almonds and amaretto before, and wile amazingly tasty it's a little heavy. This is a PERFECT substitute!! The smell is what got me interested, such a great rich smell! I found the it's not too strong, but not too weak, even after reusing (I hate to waste good tea!). Very well balanced flavors and great for after dinner! I live with a non-tea drinker and even he loved it. :)

It took me a few tries to get this one just right...I'm used to a strong tea and I began by mixing 1-5 to 2 Tsp/8 oz. But this is one that is very sensitive to strength, so follow the directions for 1 tsp to 8 oz, or it becomes very bitter. Steeping at 2 minutes tops worked best for me. Once I got this down, it was like sipping a sugar cookie without the guilt! I plan on mixing this with some Morning Mate or MateVana next just for a change of pace.

I love a hot cup about 3:30pm for a pick-me-up before I work out and make my way home to a "To Do" list. I add sugar and a very small amount of cream and it's like eating a cookie. I can't help but relax when I drink it. Do not brew over 3 minutes as it will get bitter like black tea can. Such a great tea!

I bought this tea to blend with Matevana. I would give this a 5 but I'm just not a person who likes spices and cinnamon in my teas. Still it's wonderful and very much like drinking a cookie. I recently rediscovered Teavana, and after giving up soda I've become a big tea drinker. This is by far my favorite Teavana tea. I've tried mates and green teas, but this one is my go-to tea. It does have plenty caffeine in it to keep you up, though, so don't drink it in the evening. Absolutely try it!

I found Teavana during a brief trip to Chicago. Of their entire selection, this was the tea I chose. (I have a large collection at home and try not to get too over-zealous.) I add a teaspoon of raw sugar and 1:4 soy milk to water and sip from a large mug. I drink all types of teas, with the general exception of herbals, and this is my favorite. I prefer it as a dessert tea. I admit I taste the almond more than the cinnamon, but the blend is fantastic.

For the person who said it is bitter, any tea can be bitter if brewed too strong.

Just looked up Teavana's site today to see if any locations are in my state, and indeed, I will be buying more of this tea.

I absolutely love this tea! It smells amazing, sort of like a chocolaty-nutty-cookie-esque scent, and it lingers for a while even after your cup has been empty (in case you want to continue sniffing it). As for the most important part (taste, of course), I think that it's excellent and one of the best teas I've ever had!

It might taste a bit strong to some people, but I'm not picky about my teas at all. I've been adding a little less than a teaspoon of honey just to sweeten it a tiny bit, but I even enjoy it without adding anything. Also, black teas have the most caffeine (if I recall correctly), so it may be best to consume in the morning or early afternoon, but I'd say it can still be drank anytime since its caffeine levels still don't reach that of coffee.

My dad didn't like it for some reason, so this may not be the best tea for people who don't like strong or deviant flavors. But those of you who, like me, are adventurous and aren't picky about tea, will enjoy this a lot!

I love black tea, almond, cinnamon, even biscotti cookies but I was surprised to find that I did not like this tea at all. I bought a bag and learned a valuable lesson... try it before you buy. I disliked this teas so much that I gave it away. It has a funky taste. Tired it plain, with sweetener, with milk, but it wasn't for me. I tried the mint black in the store today and liked it so much I bought some of that instead.

Wow! I just bought this and was addicted after one ship. It takes milk very well and I think is sweet enough on its own that it requires no sugar (I never put sugar in tea, anyway). YUUUUUMMMMMMMMMY! Of all the Teavana teas I've tried so far...this is my favorite. I have a sweet tooth and must eliminate sweets from my diet, and this helps satisfy those cravings. The delightful salesgirl introduced me to the Almond Biscotti black tea. I was immediately hooked by the fragrance.

I'm a sweet lover and I figured this would be right up my alley.

She was spot on with her recommendation.

I made myself a full 12 oz tumbler of tea this evening and I was blown away.

Even a few hours after finishing off my tea, I could still smell the aroma lingering in the air around me.

Such a delightful and blissful experience.

**I must add that this tea was mixed with MateVana, so perhaps it was a combination of both that made this a superb experience.

This tea is as good as it gets, especially if you are looking for something on the sweet side. Rich and flavorful, it's aroma is indicative of it's taste, unlike some teas that smell nice but lose all their heart when it's time to go to bat (you know who I'm talking to, mango green tea...). This is an excellent tea to drink when relaxing - I think it would be perfect for those days when you want to just unwind or curl up indoors. The flavor is so smooth, and is strong without ever getting bitter on me. I love the way it smells, and I find that the taste matches the scent very accurately. I like this plain, but I've found that adding a little bit of brown sugar makes it even more delicious. I haven't tried it with cream because the flavor is substantial enough without, but I think it would be delightful either way.

This is the most amazing tea. I keep it in my cupboard always. When ever I am willing to share it with others, it gets rave reviews. I also make vanilla sugar and use it for the sweetener.
