Comments about Teavana 9 Treasures® Flavored Green Tea:

I made it with hotter water than is recommended, as it was so weak at first. Fortunately it held up to repeat immersions and I did get two pots out of one batch. I had never tried green pu-erh and that may be what others found bitter. I didn't think so, but then I like pu-erh, and I did sweeten it. I found it very light and refreshing, with a pleasant pick me up. The pineapple flavor was very mild and the only discernible fruit flavor for me. I think it would be very good mixed with something fruitier.

Comments about Teavana 9 Treasures® Flavored Green Tea:

I carefully brewed it at the correct temperature for the recommended amount of time. It smells good as it approaches your lips, but was surprisingly lacking in flavor as I sipped it. I expected more flavor - but as time passed after a sip I was aware of a flavor in my mouth that grew stronger. It was a distinct flavor but was more floral than strawberry or fruity. I think some would like it, but I wouldn't order it again.

Comments about Teavana 9 Treasures® Flavored Green Tea:

ANY tea becomes bitter when steeped too long, especially green and black teas. This tea when steeped about 2 minutes is very good. Because it's flavor is subtle, It is great when mixed with other teas, even lesser quality boxed bag teas.

this is a delicate tea that shouldnt, as mentioned be steeped to long. It is light and refreshing with hints of strawberry flavoring.
I have blended this with the jasmine oolong using less of the oolong and it gives it a richer taste with out over powering.
Overall I find this tea to be delightful enjoy!

Comments about Teavana 9 Treasures® Flavored Green Tea:

Really good tea. I love to drink it in the morning with breakfast. Really sweet smelling, but the sweetness doesn't seem to carry over in the flavor. Also, I love the tea pellets, but there's not enough of it in the mix.

But over all a pretty good tea.

Comments about Teavana 9 Treasures® Flavored Green Tea:

I am a health conscious person. I have been drinking store, health food stores and nature green tea for a few years. However, just recently starting drinking Teavana's white and green teas. This is my first time trying 9 treasures and it is very bitter. This tea reading is misleading because you expect more fruity taste and even the smell is misleading. This tea is the most terrible tasting tea I have tried and I will not try it again. My husband purchased it for me and brought 2 bags. This is not good.

Comments about Teavana 9 Treasures® Flavored Green Tea:

Not a fan of this tea. If I let it steep too long, it's too bitter, but when I let it steep the recommended amount of time, it's too weak. I even tried adding one and a half teaspoons of tea to try and make it a bit stronger, but it still didn't taste right. It doesn't taste as fruity as it smells. I agree that it tastes more like leaf of a fruit than the fruit itself, which was not what I was looking for. The smell in the store misled me to believe it would taste like pineapple and strawberry. Maybe it tastes better with sugar, but I don't use sugar in my tea, so I wouldn't be able to tell you. If you're looking for something that tastes fruity and sweet without sugar, try the Japanese Cherry Green Tea. It's delicious.

Personally I would steep this longer, but a nice, refreshing light tea. Not a heavy flavoring. Definitely have suggested this to friends and co-workers.

This is a very light, fruity tea, and it is so delicious! I drink it at any and all times of the day! If you like your teas to be strong in flavour, add lots of leaves...this one is pretty delicate! Also...if you let it steep too long, it can get a little bitter - but that's not the tea's fault! Enjoy!
