This is the tea that brought me to Teavana and it is the only reason that I try out additional teas (as I purchase this I throw a sample or two of other teas in my online cart). So far, nothing else I've tried would keep me coming here rather than the grocery store without my dear Thai Tea Blend. I wish I'd known it was being considered for discontinue - I'd have purchased boxes of it. I can only hope its simply out of stock as the indicator states (only through customer reviews have I any reason to think its being discontinued). Off now to cradle my two remaining bags...

This is by far still my favorite tea from Teavana. I love the smooth vanilla undertone combined with a touch of coconut.I brew it double strength for a great morning wake up call. I can also brew it strong and add milk with sugar and it gives me a great restaurant quality tea. Please reconsider your decision to discontinue it. I have tried several of the new teas but nothing comes close. The Cha Ven Thai Tea is overwhelmingly sweet/fruity and cannot replace the quality of this blend.

Of all the fabulous teas I have tasted from Teavana this is my favorite, even more than the subtle whites. This is rich, earthy, & tasty -as if you are eating- with a quality that makes you crave more. The flavor is very Eastern as if in an old Hollywood movie- as if you are in a smoky tent of rich brocade. The black tea gives a boost to the red & the red tea gives a great flavor. PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE YOUR BEST!

This tea is like a fine wine. Fragrant and full-bodied with a, dare I saw, almost, pipe tobacco aroma. Can't live without this one. Was told at the Albany, NY store it's being discontinued. DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS TEA!!! I adore this blend and you simply have to keep it. This is my go-to tea.

The first thing that hit me about this tea was that it tasted very fruity initially. that kind of took me by surprise. But as it cools you really get hit with the spice in it. I actually like this one but the girl at the store said it was going away soon. I hope whatever they come up with to take it's place is as good!

I love the flavor. Quality ingredients used. You can make a thai tea that tastes like it's coming from a restaurant BUT double the amount of tea you think you'll need. The flavor is spot on, but it's definitely weak.

This tea is very close to the thai tea served in restaurants. I would use more than you think you need to get that good flavor though. It can be a bit weak, but the flavor is spot on (which is what matters). The weakness is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, really has no other problems.

I drink this cold. I make it up the previous day, refrigerate it over night, and enjoy cold thai tea the following day with sugar and milk. Yum!

This is one of my most favorite teas! I am very sad that Teavana is taking this out of stock! This is a daily tea for me! Mixed with German Rock Sugar and 4 creams in my 18oz glass Tumbler! Once a day! I love it!!! I plan on buying a ton in the coming months to keep me in my happy place!!!!

This tea is sooo yummy. I made it iced with rock sugar and added some organic 1% and it was so good. I could totally taste the coconut and the vanilla. The black tea rounds it out nicely.

While doing our monthly teavana shopping, my mother decided to go for this tea. I was a little skeptical, but I decided to give it a try. I'm usually NOT a fan of Thai tea when I go to restaurants, but with a little cream and rock sugar, I must say that this is a FANTASTIC tea. It's perfect for summer, with the coconut... Forget about coffee.. This is the best replacement.

I mix this tea 1:1 with Almond Biscotti. Add a little milk and turbinado sugar, and you've got yourself a truly delicious treat. For my "blueberry muffin in a cup", I mix the Thai Tea, Almond Biscotti, and Blueberry Bliss in the ratio of 1:1:2. AWESOME! I've made this for many people and they all go crazy for it. I always put some milk and sugar in it. You can really substitute it for dessert and not feel too deprived.

I don't know why, but I love this tea. I'm a fan of all things nutty, and this tea has a really nice nutty taste and aroma. Whether it is the coconut or almonds, the nuttiness blends very well with the mild spices. I'm a straight tea drinker but this one is great with a little milk and sweetener. My only criticism is that it is a very mild, almost thin, tea. I like to add an extra teaspoon to the pot and let it steep an extra minute or two.

This tea was simply divine. The aroma from the bag smelled so nice. I had to come to the website to check to see the preparation for this tea only because it contained two different teas Black & Rooibos. I also read the description again for this tea & it said to add creme and rock sugar. So, I added a little vanilla latte creme, rock sugar, & agave. And oh boy, it was yummy! I have a cold currently, so really all I could taste was the vanilla flavor. I believe this will be a tea that I will continue to buy.

I have so many different kinds of tea in my cupboard that it's almost embarrassing - but this one is my favorite! I've always loved getting iced tea in Thai restaurants, but I never thought I would be able to make it at home! I love the combination of black tea and rooibos, and the added flavor of nut and vanilla is subtle and perfect. I generally don't sweeten my tea or add any sort of cream, but that's how they serve it in Thai restaurants, so I know that it's good both ways. Mmmmm.

Deep, dark, rich cup. Blend imparts notes of nut, vanilla, honey, and unsweetened chocolate. Smooth start to finish. Acidity is perfect for a blended black tea. Rooibos adds a mild but pleasant astringent note akin to wine. Finish is crisp and dry. A wonderful cup, even after multiple infusions.

This was one of my first teavana teas. I had this tea with sugar and milk, and it was just really... watery. Maybe I didn't steep it for long enough or I didn't use enough tea, but I wasn't a very big fan.

This is a great black tea, but just know that the coconut flavor is VERY subtle--it does lend a nice warm, nutty note to the tea, though. I'm willing to bet that a coconut lover would definitely enjoy this as long as they don't go into it with high expectations for a strong coconut taste. This tea reminds me of Thai tea, but is far from being the kind of Thai tea you would get in a restaurant. Still, I see the flavor association, and I enjoy it. I make this tea two different ways, depending on what I'm in the mood for. Sometimes I like it straight, and other times I prepare it by steeping it directly into hot milk, no water needed, and add a little sugar for a wonderfully creamy, warm dessert-like drink. If you prepare it that way, though, know that you'll need to use about 50% more tea than the brewing instructions call for, and re-using the leaves doesn't work very well. My only complaint is this: I have a teapot I purchased from Teavana, and some of the little pointy pieces of red tea manage to get right through the strainer, making for a very prickly last sip, haha. But that's a super-minuscule complaint for such a delicious tea!

I've tried a few other teas from Teavana and so far this one is my favorite. The taste is excellent, not bitter, not strong, not weak, just right. I find myself reaching for this one most times when I want a cup of tea, and this is the only tea I've ever reviewed. Just great.

I never let myself run out of this tea! It tastes unique and sweet with little sugar. Ive shared it with many friends and they all love it! I love a lot of black teas, so this may not be for all tea drinkers, but i definitely enjoyed it!

Sumptuous, warm and inviting. No bitterness, fantastic balanced flavor. I do notice a little coconut but it is not overwhelming. This has become my every-morning tea. Great with a little creamer or soy milk. Could not ask for a better hot tea, I am super pleased. I adore Thai tea in Thai restaurants and have been trying to recreate it myself at home, in that aspect this tea does not work. It is not the same, but it is a super yummy anytime tea I am so glad I tried.

I am truly amazed at how delightful this is! This blend has a softer, gentler quality than plain black tea. While I like red tea, I don't taste it in this blend. I've actually switched from a daily coffee drinker to a daily tea drinker because of this blend. Like my coffee, I drink it black. Perhaps because my preferred coffee was hazelnut, the nut blend in this tea made for an easy transition.

This has become my first choice tea. I brew it for a quick cup morning or evening, and drink it iced and sweet all summer. I'm pretty careless about brewing it, and still haven't managed to make it noticably bitter.For an extra kick of coconut, I add some Coconut Aloha.

Great iced tea. The blend of red and black with vanilla makes this tea both comforting and uplifting. If it weren't for the caffeine, I would use it as a dessert tea, but since it's caffeinated I usually have it as an afternoon treat.

I'm not a huge fan of the aroma but I try not to judge tea by the smell seeing as how it 90% of the time tastes different then the smell leads you on to believe. I loved it, I used to be obsessed with Thai Iced Tea at Thai restaurants but have a hard time with it due to my allergy to dairy so I thought maybe this tea could fill the void and it did. I don't quite taste the coconut like others have said but I'm glad about that because I'm not the hugest coconut fan. But oh man, make this tea with some german rock sugar, yummm, it takes away the bitterness especially if you over steep

I had Thai tea at a Buddhist temple in Berkley, CA and loved it. This tea tastes just like it but without being bright orange :) My mom knew I was trying to find Thai tea to make at home and bought this for me as a gift and I'm about to buy some more! Great hot or cold.

What a fantastic exotic flavor! The scent alone is enough to bring my memory back to beach lounging with Pina Colada in hand!

The best part is the aftertaste of the subtle hint of coconut that just lingers for a few moments before you take your next sip. If you're a fan of coconut, this tea is the one for you.

Also, don't let the black tea throw you off. This was soothing and had a sort of calming affect. It could have been purely psychological, but it's one I'm willing to definitely do again.

I added a little pizzaz by adding some frothed warm milk to give it a lighter feel too it. I recommend this.

I'd like to call this one the feel good tea!

I've tried so many blends of thai tea, I've even gone to stores in areas where I needed a translater to find my way around and this is just the best. I brew a big pitcher and keep it in the fridge, sweeten with simple syrup and a splash of milk and it doesn't get any better. It has a great anise aroma in the can and very strong hints of marzipan and cinnamon. The coconut is hardly present until you brew it. Take great care not to over brew, it is a very strong cup of tea with tendancies to get bitter if your careless. its just awesome when done right.

I brought this Tea because i loved the aroma when in the store. But when i got this tea home it was a totally different experience. This tea is very strong almost coffee like. If you like coffee you may like it but if your not a fan of a robust tea stay away.

Drinking this tea will make you feel so special. Add a little half and half and a little sweetener (stevia is my fav) and this makes a rich dessert in a mug. I am not a big coconut fan, but the coconut in this tea blend makes is just perfect!

I really wanted to like this tea because I love all its ingredients, and I also love Thai tea elsewhere, but I find this particular blend to be unpleasant. It has a strange, almost plastic-y taste.. not necessarily artificial, but almost like something past its prime. I can see why other people like it, because it does taste like Thai tea - to me, it just seems off. The same applies to the aroma. I tried sweetening it and also using cream, but still no good. I guess it's just not for me, unfortunately!

I have grown to just love my Thai tea. It is very tasty after dinner in lieu of a dessert. Be careful not to oversteep--and lightly sweeten it. A splash of milk is also fabulous. Just love this one.
