Purchased this gift set for myself. I work 3rd shift and thought this would be a perfect substitute for coffee and soda. Of course the day it arrived, the boyfriend and I had to try ALL the teas immediately! We had fun trying out the teamaker for the first time, astonished that something so simple could do the work of equipment that is far more expensive and complicated.
Each tea was good for at least 2 steeps, 3 if you don't mind it a little weaker, but just as tasty. The MateVana will be coming with me to work for its caffeine content. It is a delicious substitute for coffee, and can be versatile with or without cream and sugar. The Earl Grey Creme was closest to more familiar teas, but with a wonderful fragrant extra something special. Both the Rooibos Tropico and the Rooibos Sweet Amore are amazing, and my boyfriend and I can't decide which one we like better.
Now that I have my boyfriend hooked as well, I will be purchasing the 32oz teamaker for home use so I can keep the 16oz one at work. I have already started a (very long) wish list of all the teas we want to try next. This gift set is a perfect starting point and includes everything you need to get started, including the measuring teaspoon and plenty of German rock sugar. I did purchase the 16oz glass mug as well (which works perfectly with the maker) and will be purchasing two more later.
I really look forward to exploring new tastes and flavor combinations. Who knew tea could be this exciting?

I've been a coffee drinker for years. My husband bought me some Raspberry Lemon Mate and a travel mug for my birthday, and I was switched over to tea very quickly! I had soo many teas that I wanted to try... but instead I just bought myself this set. I figured I needed the Tea Maker anyway, I wanted to try lots of different kinds, and I really wanted the small size tea tins since they are not available seperately. Love love love this set! I'm so glad I got to try these specific teas - they are all great, but it allowed me to see which way my tastes lean. I took this set with me on a big family vacation, and I was brewing tea all day long for everyone!

I only wish it was a little less expensive, because I want to buy a set for all my friends.

This was given to me last year as an early Christmas/moving away present. What a great way start getting into tea! I would definitely recommend it as a gift for someone who would be interested in getting into tea, as everything you need is in the box and you have a great opportunity to start exploring different types of tea with what's included.

This product is awesome. I have just finished sampling all the teas and the last two items I used was the sugar and the Earl Grey Creme. I wish I would have started with those two :)

The perfect tea maker does exactly that. Instead of putting the sugar in the cup, I placed it in the tea maker with the tea. It was wonderful!

This is a wonderful set to try Teavana or give as a gift.

I was recommended this by Gerald at the Lakeside location. He had a lot of good points, as I had never tried hot tea before. I must say, I was very impressed with how much came with this set. The tea infuser was wonderful, and I loved all of the teas except the Roobius Sweet Amore- Cinnimon just isn't my thing. What could have made this set better would have been the inclusion of a mug! Best thing for a beginner tea enthusiast!

I love the Perfect Tea maker, it is easily the best part of the package. The rock sugar is the perfect sweetener for tea because it doesn't change the flavor of the tea. The spoon is wonderful because it is deep and you do not have to worry about your tea falling off the edges. Also this set has a very nice assortment of teas - black, herbal,rooibos, etc.

Only possible con is that the tins are not the same colors as shown, they are a very fancy gold/tan color with Chinese symbols on them, so they don't match my other Teavana tea tins.

I bought this for a close friend who is a constant tea drinker for Christmas. Due to the health benefits, I have always wanted to like the taste of hot tea. I have bought a lot of different teas in the bag (Loose leaf tea always seemed like too much trouble). I never finished an entire cup of tea and have thrown out many stale bags.

My boyfriend bought me this for Christmas and it was the best gift he gave me, hands down. It is 2:30p and I am already on my 5th cup.

Truly amazing for someone like me. Easy to brew and such a great selection of flavors. I am a Teavana customer for life. I'm already ordering my second Perfect Teamaker for the office. Can't wait to try some new flavors.

Perfect gift for the wife. After several "strike-outs" on gifts over her last few birthdays -- this one was a home run. Good teas (especially the Rooibos Sweet Amore)...but none are morning starters for this coffe drinker...wife and I drink these in the afternoon.
