This was my first non-black tea purchase and it was a lark, total spur-of-the-moment. I drink exclusively Earl Grey but got sucked in by the enthusiastic clerks at the Teavana store in Chicago. I am very nicely surprised to find a fruity, healthy tea that I enjoy. I will buy more oolongs in the future.

Seeing as I stopped drinking soda around a year ago, I drink tea everyday...all day! I love this tea for it's sweet aroma and a bit of spice. But I did notice that once seeped, it is not as sweet as you might think. As far as it being an appetite suppressant, I am sold! Love this tea any time of the day!

Kamyia Papaya goes well with my liking of lighter fruity teas. It's smooth, aromatic, needs little or no sugar. I mostly drink it on it's own but also liked it mixed with Pineapple Kona.

This tea smells really good, but when prepared - there is something that tastes a bit artificial. I don't sweeten any of my teas; consequently, I may be missing out on an enjoyable tea if I would just add sugar! Maybe that's what it needs. I have prepared this one both iced and hot and concur that it is better iced!

I like to drink tea in the cold months. Last year, I drank Maracuya Passion (it's since been discontinued) and lost about 5 lbs without doing anything special. This year, I went a little crazy and bought about 4 types of oolong-- this one being the first I try out. I bought 2oz of this tea just to "try it" I was reading the reviews and I see that alot of people either loved it or hated it. Me I really bought this tea because I am on a diet and this tea has great health benifits! So I drink the tea 3 times a day and a few others like matevan and hit the gym. I was drawn to this tea first by its fruity bubblegum-like aroma. However upon trying it, I was initially disappointed. Since I'm not one to throw away tea on first impressions, I decided to try it again later. The second cup was delicious. I realized I had over-steeped it the first time making it bitter. This is now one of my favorite teas. I drink it in the morning and have several more cups throughout the day. This tea is also fantastic when mixed with the Arcadian Apple Green Tea.

I bought this tea because I wanted to try an oolong that is flavorful. I smelled it at the tea shop and was interested because it's aroma is perfect for the fall season. i was a tad reluctant to buy this specific tea, but the papaya drew me in. its a clean, refreshing tea, but sometimes it can be a little weak, so i brew it a little longer than suggested. i dont feel that it requires any sweetener at all.
i also tend to drink it during or at the end of my meals (especially if theyre kinda greasy) and it helps prevent stomach upset....ness. :)

This tea is really good. i liked the flavor and the aroma.. feels very tropical, if you steep them properly they taste really good.

I bought this from their shop in Costa Mesa, I do have a concern on how the employees try and push you to buy the expensive ones only as opposed to showing the customers various other options. So I would rather buy them online than go to their physical shop.

I generally buy White Tea and this is my first experience with Oolong. When I first smelled this it kind of smelled like bublegum to me. My mom remarked that it smelled like Juicy Fruit. However, the flavor profile when you drink it is completely different. At first you get sweet and mild top notes. Then, it gets stronger, a little spicy, almost like it's derived from chai tea.

What I love about this tea is the odd combination of flavors. I think they are combined brilliantly. Another plus is that the chai, spicy taste sticks around for a long time after you are finished with your cup. It threw off my sweet tooth after the tea was gone, which is a great plus.

The papaya and tropical flavors blend so well with this Oolong that it transports me to Hawaii. It is a great value not only for the health benefits associated with Oolong Tea, but also because I can get multiple steepings out of each serving. A wonderful treat with or without a sweetener. This tea is fruity, yet it has a cinnamon taste that makes it very different. Usually the two flavors are separate, but they mixed them in this tea and it makes for an interesting taste. I love it, don't get me wrong, but I just couldn't sleep , this thing kept me awake until 5 am !!!, there was no way I could sleep, I wasn't anxious at all, but just didn't feel like sleeping, Im a bit sensitive to caffeine, so maybe it just me , other than that the flavor, smell and taste are sublime and perfect, but from my personal experience I just wouldn't have this at night time.

I wasn't sure about this tea to start with, but I bought it based on the reviews. I'm usually a green or red tea girl, but this has won me over. This tea really fits the words paradise in a cup. It holds a medium or mild body acentuated well by the subtle sweet tanginess of the tropical fruit in it. This tea is at its BEST when in the combination of Sweet Fruit Garden/Kamiya Papaya Oolong. But if you want to have these teas in a drink that has no word that you could ever explain. Just add 2oz.-4oz. of Mandura ........ You are having any health issues this drink has done wonder for those who have tried it.

This tea is simply yummy- it has both fruity and spicy flavors that blend very well. I drink this tea at work mid-morning to help curb my appetite while waiting for lunch, which is what oolong is supposed to be good for. I would recommend this tea to anyone, tea drinker or not. I simply did not give it 5 stars because I like the utopian jewel better.

I bought this oolong for the health benefits and weight lost effects. What a surprise my first sip was. I steeped it 4 more times and it was just as good on the 4th glass as it was the first. I do not care for the "tea taste" and this did not have it..i went back to my local stoe the next day to see if they suggested a blend with it.. but this is great all by itself. You won't be dissappointed.

I wasn't excited about this tea the first time I tried it. The fruit and citrus overpowered the Oolong. I didn't even want to try the 3rd and 4th steep (which is usually when the Oolong starts to open up and generally considered the best brews). It was OK at most and I didn't plan on buying again. However, my second brew, I decided to try the 3rd & 4th steep. To my surprise! The herbal citrus, fruit notes tone down and the smooth citrus of the Oolong unravels. The slight spice, the smooth sweetness & citrus tastes wonderful with just a little rock sugar. I am quite pleased and drink it regularly now :)

I just went to the Avenue's mall in Jax, FL and tasted this tea. Frankly, I wanted to bUy them all. This tea was exceptional, it curbed my appetite for several hours - which is a major feat for me. I liked it so much I asked my hubby to get me the starter kit for our 20 year anniversary next month (May 2008) and he said he will.

This tea is excellent by far the best tea Ive had so far at Teavana. Especially helps that theres a free sample at the stores. Fresh fruit/perfumed floral smell. Its soothing and citrusy perfect to have before going to sleep

I love this tea on ice, it is especially refreshing and very soothing. I dont drink colas, or artificial drinks and so I am always short on variety over summer. The Kamiya papaya makes for a nice alternative to lemonade.

I tried this tea originally because I got Utopian Jewel and loved it, but wanted to expand my horizons. I've just found this tea TOO fruity for me. I've tried different steeping times to bring out the tea flavor, and I've found that it ends up too weak or bitter. It's not a bad tea, but it's not the right fit for me.

I am a first time buyer of Teavana and was in search of a good Oolong and Mate', for their obvious health benefits. I enjoyed the aroma of the tea, smells like you can eat it. I would recommend steeping longer than three min, since it has such a light tastes to it, however the aroma is great.

This tea is very good, but I gave it 4 out of 5 because the true flavor of tea is too subtle. I'm afraid the fruity and floral flavors take away from the tea taste a bit. I was surprised to see the rose buds in teh tea - that was a nice touch. Overall, it is a good tasting tea, just maybe too fruity.
