Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This fruit flavored tea changes it's taste with subsequent steeping. The first brew is very strong with the raspberry and fruit flavors and even comes out a very pretty shade of red. The second and third steep gradually loses it's fruit flavor and becomes a very tasty oolong with only light hints of the fruit remaining. But every time it is flavorful and delicious.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This pretty much tastes like Monkey-Picked Oolong. The raspberries don't make too much of a difference in flavor but because there's a good amount of filler fruit, it's substantially less pricey than the MPO, with all the same tea leaves, health benefits, and similar flavor. I love this as a mixer and it's definitely reusable!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I absolutely love this tea. I have it mixed with the weight to go black tea. Fabulous anytime of day.

I drink this tea 2 to 3 times a day. After the first week I notice a difference in my appetite and my skin in a positive way
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I love this tea! I think it's great on it's own, but it's so versatile with mixing with other teas. I like it with Youthberry, Peachberry Jasmine Sutra, Strawberry Paraiso and Huang Shan Mao Feng. It is great hot or iced. I like that I can taste the oolong but it has a berry kick to it. Overall, I love it. Bravo!

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I was expecting it to have more of a fruity, full bodied taste, but it is kind of tasteless and boring. I was disappointed.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is my first Oolong, I gave it 4 stars due to the fact that it has sooo many berries but so light a berry taste. It smells more berry than it tastes, so it is kind of deceiving. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy its not artificially flavored to taste more berry, maybe it needs a more flavor friendly berry substituted. I really enjoy this tea, I will steep down to the last leaf! I'am very happy that there is no Hibiscus in this blend, Hibiscus can be tart and requires too much sweetener to bring out the flavor. So if you want a subtle fruity, slightly sweet, palate pleasing Oolong, this is the one for you! This Oolong is for the purist who wants just a hint of fruit. (I always follow temperature and steeping instructions)
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I really do long for this oolong! I love to drink tea. I enjoy the entire process of choosing a great tea, brewing it, and enjoying a wonderful cup of tea. I had not found the oolong for me until I tried this one. It is so fresh from the very first smell of the tea leaves to the last sip in your teacup. This is a tea that makes you long for more of its freshness and quality!

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I love this tea. It's my absolute favorite. It's a mild flavor so I steep it a bit longer than what the website recommends. It's great and not bitter.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I liked this tea before the berries were added in. It used to just contain oolong tea leaves with a hint of raspberry that was perfect and very floral. Now, the oolong is drowning in dried berries, so the oolong flavor seems a lot weaker. :( Sorry, Teavana, but this is one case where I think the old style was better!

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I'm a devoted Oolong tea drinker. I don't venture out to drink much of the other types of tea. Once i tasted Oolong, I was hooked, and it was the Six Summits that made me devoted. It has a great sweet tea flavor and the fruit gives it extra sweetness. This is perfect for those with a sweet tooth. I put a little bit of stevia in it, but I don't think it's really needed.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is my favorite tea, seriously. I am really upset that it's being 'upgraded', and the entire company is out of it right now. I hoard this like gold. Luckily it's good for 6 infusions, so a few small scoops can make me cups all day! I prefer it iced because it's so refreshing, but it's nice hot too.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I just dont really like the vegetal taste... its a little too earthy for me. If you prefer the earthy tasting teas over the fruity ones then you would probably enjoy this.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This tea was more or less pushed off on me by the store clerk. I didn't want to buy 8oz but was told I had to. I have tried blending it with tiki twilight which makes it almost tolerable. Now I have 8oz of tea I don't like.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
My wife and I absolutely love Six Summits as an Iced Tea on hot summer afternoons. There's really nothing better!
What a great recommendation for our first Oolong from our friends at Old Orchard in Skokie, IL!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
Things I thought was great about the tea were it was a nice finish tea. It's my first oolong tea i ever bought. I'm a first time oolong tea drinker and I actually really like it and because with all the health benefits that come with it I thought were great. Has a light but subtle taste to it. It helps to have a fruit mixed in with the tea and one that is not to drowning in taste.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I don't prefer this tea on it's own. My favorite way to prepare it is by using the small tea maker and adding 3 teaspoons of this and 1 teaspoon of Strawberry Paradisio (hey I like my teas strong, don't judge me). Would buy again and again.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I brew this tea then refrigerate (not adding ice until completely cooled) Makes a soothing smooth cool drink to enjoy.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This tea is just wonderful iced. I also added a bit of German Rock Sugar.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
It's not bad, it just isn't great. The fruit taste/smell is very subtitle and pleasant. Looking at the tea you can tell it is very good quality.
Overall I would recommend this if you are an oolong tea drinker. If you prefer sweeten teas, this is one to avoid.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I'm just now getting into the various types of teas and decided to give the Oolong a shot because of its health benefits. I was a bit apprehensive about paying [$] per 2oz, but after receiving a cup in-store, I was blown away. I loved loved loved it! It was very smooth and not fruity at all even though the raspberries are included. I would recommend this tea to anyone who prefers a more mellow tea and who doesn't want to be overpowered by fruit or spices.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
Great for multiple infusions so you really get your $'s worth! The raspberry aroma is stronger than the raspberry flavor (even with the revamped tea that now actually HAS raspberries in it!). Amazing. Best oolong I've ever had.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I was stubborn about paying such a price for tea but decided I really wanted to try an Oolong tea. I am so glad I did because it is my absolute favorite oolong tea. I love drinking it and drink multiple cups a day. The raspberries are great as well.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
Great tea! I don't think they needed to add the raspberry pieces, as it already had a slight raspberry flavor, but it didn't seem to change the flavor at all.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I am truly NEW to tea drinking. I purchased the Kamiya Papaya Oolong and have been drinking that and Six Summits. They are pretty good.
My question is...what exactly is resteeping? Just reusing the same tea bag? I make my tea using the tea bags and hot water (since I usually only drink it while at work). So, should I just reuse the same tea bag later in the day when I want another cup? What do I do with the bag in the meantime...put it in the refrigerator? Leave it in a cup on my desk? Help! LOL, I know, stupid question...but I've literally never drank tea before this Teavana. And I started drinking it for the weight loss benefits in the first place.
Thanks!

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
If I could give any tea six stars, this would be the one. Maybe that's why they call it six summits? The high quality oolong (and I do mean high quality) doesn't really NEED the raspberries to make it good, but they sure don't hurt. In fact, the berries are subtle enough that you really only pick up on them when you smell the tea, and maybe right at the very finish. They compliment the oolong perfectly. When I drink this tea, I'm surprised by every single sip - I just can't believe how good it is! Granted, it's expensive... but trust me, you're paying for quality.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
Excellent when prepared gongfu style. Can be brewed five or so times, about 3 minutes first steep, adding about a minute to each subsequent steep... wonderful for bringing out this tea's nice subtleties.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This Oolong is FABULOUS! Even though it's a bit pricey, you can make up for the price my using it for multiple infusions. The flavor is lovely. It's one of my favorite teas and I can drink it all day without tiring of it. It's also a great tea if you need to calm an upset stomach!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I drink this tea in the morning because it really does help with my appetite going into the afternoon.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
bought this tea in a retail shop and was immediately hooked. can't say that I'm so keen about the "upgrade" that added dried raspberry pieces.. it is a lovely tea and worth the effort to pick the raspberry bits out.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
You can make at least three infusions with this tea before discarding the leaves. It is a fine quality whole leaf tea with a distinct Oolong flavor. The clean, fresh taste just gets better every time I use it.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
At first, I was very skeptical of a tea that costs [$] for 2oz, especially since I've never had oolong tea before. But after reading some info and talking to one of the store associates, I decided to give it a try. And, I have to say it is worth every penny. Not only is it a diet tea, but it actually tastes really good. I brewed three cups from one serving of leaves and the third cup was by far the most flavorful. Definitely worth trying.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I've bought over 30 different teas from Teavana and never tried an Oolong tea. So it was time and this tea was a GREAT introduction to this type of tea processing. Smelling the leaf you can easily find the raspberry infusion. But on my first sip I was left wondering where it was. For the briefest of seconds I only tasted the flavor of tea. Then all of a sudden my taste buds were treated to the perfect flavor of a raspberry as if I had just popped one into my mouth. It was an amazing sensation and on each subsequent sip I was treated to the same thing. First the flavor of the tea leaves followed shortly there after with the wonderful raspberry taste. I absolutely love this tea on it's own (how I taste all my new teas before mixing them) and not sure I would want to mix it with another. It stands so nicely on it's own I am very pleased.
As another poster mentioned it almost doesn't taste natural, however, just like the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls it is quite a natural flavoring. In the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls there isn't a single Jasmine leaf to be found in the actual tea. They "infuse" the tea leaves with Jasmine as they are processing them. This Oolong is treated the same way with "infusions" of raspberry, but not a single berry is in the final product. Quite natural and quite Delicious!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I drink oolong almost exclusively since it has cleared up my Nummular Eczema. I was given Six Summits for my birthday (as well as Monkey Picked) and fell in love. Six Summits is unique and addictive - both hot and cold.
I hadn't heard of Teavana before that but went in the next day and spent more than $400 on teas.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I have several very high quality Oolong teas in my tea pantry. This one is by far my favorite. It's just unusual enough to capture my senses and I really enjoy the aromatic qualities. I'd buy this even if I could only steep it once. I think it's exceptional.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I love the way it smells. It reminds me of hiking, when you smell something a little fruity, and you come to a high valley with some Rocky Mountain wild raspberries. It has exactly that smell. Todos mis amigos agree on this point.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is a very surprising Oolong tea - it tastes more like a fruit infusion than a real tea. I do enjoy the fruity taste but I wonder how they achieve it - can it be natural? I'd prefer unadulterated teas so if this has had flavoring added I will avoid it in future despite how nice it tastes. It's probably a great option for people who generally don't like oolong teas. I'd recommend Bai Ji Guan, Da Hong Pao, Imperial Rou Gui Rock Oolong. Enjoy!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
Very smooth and light, but a hint of berry adds just enough sweetness to be an unexpected surprize
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I had never had this oolong before so I tried a little at our local Teavana. I really like the very slight rasberry undertone. I am usually not a fan of fruity teas, this is so faint I really coul not tell that much. I tend to like my teas a little stronger , nothing added so I had to let this steep a little longer to get the flavor I like but once I did very good. Plus when you can re steep a couple of times even at [$] a good value. I have just found you get what you pay for and the Teavana pricier teas are a little better and retseeping makes it worth it. This is no exception.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I have to say I was really disappointed by this Oolong. Had a very weak flavor and I personally found the smell repulsive. Smelled too much like medicine. Guess that's just personal taste though. It's kind of hard to believe that no flavoring was added. I've been drinking Oolong teas for years now,and this just didn't taste like a classic Oolong. There was no earthy and naturally sweet taste that most have. The price was very disappointing too for such a bland Oolong tea, was expecting something a lot different. Teavana used to have such good Oolongs, such as Iron Buddha, but now they just seem to be producing overly flavored ones. I guess this just wasn't the Oolong I was looking for.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This was the first tea I got from a Teavana. It has a delicious, light flavor and sweet aftertaste. It tastes like tea because the raspberry is not overbearing, and the look and scent of the leaves as well as the aroma once it is brewed is very nice. I drink it in the evenings to calm down. Not only is it soothing but it improves your breath and teeth (or at least I think so. :) ) It is rather expensive, but you may be able to get more than one infusion from the leaves if you brew them carefully. Overall, a very healthy and natural-tasting tea. I don't even add sugar, because it's very good as is.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This tea is amazing. I love the smooth raspberry flavor! It blends well with others fruity teas but my personal favorite is to blend it with peppermint. It is amazing hot or for a very refreshing iced tea.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
Smelled just like the Oolongs we get at Chinese restaurants, but was very disappointed with what both my wife and I considered to be a very weak taste. Maybe the restaurant tea is all bagged, and we are just used to a stronger brew, but even extra steeping didn't seem to help. We haven't given up on Oolongs, but with this price, we won't buy again.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is an amazing tea that has aided in getting back to my holistic roots. It makes me feel good, I'm slowly losing the bloating that I recently put on from not managing stress or putting myself as a higher priority. Just be careful not to steep it too long...it can turn bitter. Of course, that doesn't bother me too much, I know that it's so good for me, that I am beginning to like it a little stronger for the health benefits!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
When done as intended, it is potent without being overwhelming or too bold. However, this tea is very customizable! Good for beginners (like me) because it is pretty forgiving.
First time I made it I oversteeped AND made the water too hot! After I watered it down a bit, it tasted good. My subsquent experiences with it have gotten much better. :)

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
love this tea, though careful not to drink too much as is very expensive, but steeps into these beautiful big leaves, nice to watch, and because you can get at least 3 steeps per batch, or more?, that sort of makes up for the cost. It's a subtle but rich tasting tea, unique, I'll always try to keep some on hand.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is one of the highest quality oolong's Teavana (and the world) has to offer. It can be used a few times with the same flavor/health benefits, so you are really getting the most for your dollar. I prefer it over the Monkey Picked Oolong because this one has a slight raspberry undertone to it, making it more palatable to me, and good for mixing with a bit of herbal flavors.
It has low caffeine, and is great for weight loss. I've been drinking it for about a month now, and have noticed its effects starting to take place. While it's not a miracle product, I've lost a couple pounds simply by drinking a cup or two a day, and taking walks around the neighborhood. Doesn't get any better than this one :)

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is such an awesome oolong and can be infused several times--which makes a better value than what you think at first. It has a nice subtle berry taste that make it great for blending. I like it with Lemon Blast Mate or Carribean Breeze. This one is very smooth and a little more forgiving than some of the other oolongs if you oversteep them. LOVE IT!

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I absolutely love this tea. Since you can steep this tea more than once I heat water to around 175 and put 2T of tea in the Giant Dancing Leaf glass tea pot--the 33oz one--and fill to the top with the semi-hot water. I then put it in the refrigerator to brew. The next day I use what I want out (heating it in the microwave) I then refill the glass tea pot with ~175 degree water to the top of the glass tea pot and put in the refrigerator again. I get a whole week's worth out of the tea doing it this way. The tea never gets bitter as I am cold brewing it. I also use the tea thermos with strainer by heating up the refrigerated brewed tea (to drinking temperature) and put it in the thermos. Then if I want the tea a little stronger I put some of the unfurled tea leaves from the glass tea pot in the strainer made for thermos, put the cover on tightly and turn it over and stand it upright so there is more tea that comes in contact with the tea in the strainer. I let that sit for a minute or two and then when it's ready to drink I just put the tea leaves from the strainer back into the glass pot to reuse. I get a whole week's worth of drinks out of just 2T of tea and it never gets bitter because I never use water than gets hot enough to make it bitter. Sounds like alot of work but once you get the system down it goes smoothly--and since this is expensive tea it makes goes a long way. I start the whole process on Sunday after noon and use the tea until the following Sunday morning. Then Sunday afternoon I start the next week's brewing process all over again. I also use this process for other teas--and I get multiple steeps out of them as I never use water that is hot enough to make them bitter.
