I have to say this tea surprised me. I expected to like, but not to want to hoard it. I sigh whenever I realize I'm nearly out!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I keep this tea in my pantry at all times along with Silver Needle and Monkey Oolong. They are my favorite trio.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
You can make at least three infusions with this tea before discarding the leaves. It is a fine quality whole leaf tea with a distinct Oolong flavor. The clean, fresh taste just gets better every time I use it.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
At first, I was very skeptical of a tea that costs [$] for 2oz, especially since I've never had oolong tea before. But after reading some info and talking to one of the store associates, I decided to give it a try. And, I have to say it is worth every penny. Not only is it a diet tea, but it actually tastes really good. I brewed three cups from one serving of leaves and the third cup was by far the most flavorful. Definitely worth trying.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I've bought over 30 different teas from Teavana and never tried an Oolong tea. So it was time and this tea was a GREAT introduction to this type of tea processing. Smelling the leaf you can easily find the raspberry infusion. But on my first sip I was left wondering where it was. For the briefest of seconds I only tasted the flavor of tea. Then all of a sudden my taste buds were treated to the perfect flavor of a raspberry as if I had just popped one into my mouth. It was an amazing sensation and on each subsequent sip I was treated to the same thing. First the flavor of the tea leaves followed shortly there after with the wonderful raspberry taste. I absolutely love this tea on it's own (how I taste all my new teas before mixing them) and not sure I would want to mix it with another. It stands so nicely on it's own I am very pleased.
As another poster mentioned it almost doesn't taste natural, however, just like the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls it is quite a natural flavoring. In the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls there isn't a single Jasmine leaf to be found in the actual tea. They "infuse" the tea leaves with Jasmine as they are processing them. This Oolong is treated the same way with "infusions" of raspberry, but not a single berry is in the final product. Quite natural and quite Delicious!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I drink oolong almost exclusively since it has cleared up my Nummular Eczema. I was given Six Summits for my birthday (as well as Monkey Picked) and fell in love. Six Summits is unique and addictive - both hot and cold.
I hadn't heard of Teavana before that but went in the next day and spent more than $400 on teas.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I have several very high quality Oolong teas in my tea pantry. This one is by far my favorite. It's just unusual enough to capture my senses and I really enjoy the aromatic qualities. I'd buy this even if I could only steep it once. I think it's exceptional.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I love the way it smells. It reminds me of hiking, when you smell something a little fruity, and you come to a high valley with some Rocky Mountain wild raspberries. It has exactly that smell. Todos mis amigos agree on this point.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is a very surprising Oolong tea - it tastes more like a fruit infusion than a real tea. I do enjoy the fruity taste but I wonder how they achieve it - can it be natural? I'd prefer unadulterated teas so if this has had flavoring added I will avoid it in future despite how nice it tastes. It's probably a great option for people who generally don't like oolong teas. I'd recommend Bai Ji Guan, Da Hong Pao, Imperial Rou Gui Rock Oolong. Enjoy!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
Very smooth and light, but a hint of berry adds just enough sweetness to be an unexpected surprize
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I had never had this oolong before so I tried a little at our local Teavana. I really like the very slight rasberry undertone. I am usually not a fan of fruity teas, this is so faint I really coul not tell that much. I tend to like my teas a little stronger , nothing added so I had to let this steep a little longer to get the flavor I like but once I did very good. Plus when you can re steep a couple of times even at [$] a good value. I have just found you get what you pay for and the Teavana pricier teas are a little better and retseeping makes it worth it. This is no exception.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I have to say I was really disappointed by this Oolong. Had a very weak flavor and I personally found the smell repulsive. Smelled too much like medicine. Guess that's just personal taste though. It's kind of hard to believe that no flavoring was added. I've been drinking Oolong teas for years now,and this just didn't taste like a classic Oolong. There was no earthy and naturally sweet taste that most have. The price was very disappointing too for such a bland Oolong tea, was expecting something a lot different. Teavana used to have such good Oolongs, such as Iron Buddha, but now they just seem to be producing overly flavored ones. I guess this just wasn't the Oolong I was looking for.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This was the first tea I got from a Teavana. It has a delicious, light flavor and sweet aftertaste. It tastes like tea because the raspberry is not overbearing, and the look and scent of the leaves as well as the aroma once it is brewed is very nice. I drink it in the evenings to calm down. Not only is it soothing but it improves your breath and teeth (or at least I think so. :) ) It is rather expensive, but you may be able to get more than one infusion from the leaves if you brew them carefully. Overall, a very healthy and natural-tasting tea. I don't even add sugar, because it's very good as is.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This tea is amazing. I love the smooth raspberry flavor! It blends well with others fruity teas but my personal favorite is to blend it with peppermint. It is amazing hot or for a very refreshing iced tea.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
Smelled just like the Oolongs we get at Chinese restaurants, but was very disappointed with what both my wife and I considered to be a very weak taste. Maybe the restaurant tea is all bagged, and we are just used to a stronger brew, but even extra steeping didn't seem to help. We haven't given up on Oolongs, but with this price, we won't buy again.
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is an amazing tea that has aided in getting back to my holistic roots. It makes me feel good, I'm slowly losing the bloating that I recently put on from not managing stress or putting myself as a higher priority. Just be careful not to steep it too long...it can turn bitter. Of course, that doesn't bother me too much, I know that it's so good for me, that I am beginning to like it a little stronger for the health benefits!
Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
When done as intended, it is potent without being overwhelming or too bold. However, this tea is very customizable! Good for beginners (like me) because it is pretty forgiving.
First time I made it I oversteeped AND made the water too hot! After I watered it down a bit, it tasted good. My subsquent experiences with it have gotten much better. :)

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
love this tea, though careful not to drink too much as is very expensive, but steeps into these beautiful big leaves, nice to watch, and because you can get at least 3 steeps per batch, or more?, that sort of makes up for the cost. It's a subtle but rich tasting tea, unique, I'll always try to keep some on hand.

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is one of the highest quality oolong's Teavana (and the world) has to offer. It can be used a few times with the same flavor/health benefits, so you are really getting the most for your dollar. I prefer it over the Monkey Picked Oolong because this one has a slight raspberry undertone to it, making it more palatable to me, and good for mixing with a bit of herbal flavors.
It has low caffeine, and is great for weight loss. I've been drinking it for about a month now, and have noticed its effects starting to take place. While it's not a miracle product, I've lost a couple pounds simply by drinking a cup or two a day, and taking walks around the neighborhood. Doesn't get any better than this one :)

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
This is such an awesome oolong and can be infused several times--which makes a better value than what you think at first. It has a nice subtle berry taste that make it great for blending. I like it with Lemon Blast Mate or Carribean Breeze. This one is very smooth and a little more forgiving than some of the other oolongs if you oversteep them. LOVE IT!

Comments about Teavana Six Summits Oolong® Tea:
I absolutely love this tea. Since you can steep this tea more than once I heat water to around 175 and put 2T of tea in the Giant Dancing Leaf glass tea pot--the 33oz one--and fill to the top with the semi-hot water. I then put it in the refrigerator to brew. The next day I use what I want out (heating it in the microwave) I then refill the glass tea pot with ~175 degree water to the top of the glass tea pot and put in the refrigerator again. I get a whole week's worth out of the tea doing it this way. The tea never gets bitter as I am cold brewing it. I also use the tea thermos with strainer by heating up the refrigerated brewed tea (to drinking temperature) and put it in the thermos. Then if I want the tea a little stronger I put some of the unfurled tea leaves from the glass tea pot in the strainer made for thermos, put the cover on tightly and turn it over and stand it upright so there is more tea that comes in contact with the tea in the strainer. I let that sit for a minute or two and then when it's ready to drink I just put the tea leaves from the strainer back into the glass pot to reuse. I get a whole week's worth of drinks out of just 2T of tea and it never gets bitter because I never use water than gets hot enough to make it bitter. Sounds like alot of work but once you get the system down it goes smoothly--and since this is expensive tea it makes goes a long way. I start the whole process on Sunday after noon and use the tea until the following Sunday morning. Then Sunday afternoon I start the next week's brewing process all over again. I also use this process for other teas--and I get multiple steeps out of them as I never use water that is hot enough to make them bitter.
