I own several teapots. My coin cast iron pot from Teavana is my favorite. Since I often am the only one drinking tea in the house, I decided to get this smaller one. Unfortunately, the way the spout is designed, it spills tea when pouring. It does this no matter how full the pot is. It's far easier to make tea in a larger pot and then refrigerate what is left for a cold tea drink. On the positive side, it is pretty.

This is a great pourer, and makes a lovely cup of tea. The problem comes when pouring that second cup of tea into a cup. Suddenly and without warning the top of the pot will fall and crash onto the floor (warning: do not use this pot while standing on a tiled floor: I chipped the enamel the first time it happened). So then you get to learn that you have to hold the top on rather firmly, as there is no lip on the top to help retard its falling. But wait, the top of the pot is really very very hot, because this is cast iron and the manufacturers have not put any insulated material on the knob. So you have to use a cloth to pour from your gorgeous pot. Not an unblemished aesthetic experience, and not half as much fun as it could have been.
A shame, really, because it is a lovely little pot.

This teapot holds much more tea than you might think, has a versatile color scheme for matching more pieces and can hold up to my every day use better than any of my other teapots. This piece is a great investment and looks good doing it!

I love this little teapot! It keeps tea hot for a very good amount of time. Love that the heat is so evenly distributed. Works very well with the votive burner.

I just got this teapot, and I love it. I drink from it all day. The only thing I don't like about it is that it keeps the tea warm for way too long (I personally like my tea luke warm), but that isn't really a problem! Great for one person. I only wish it came in a larger size so I could upgrade. Beautiful. I love the two different waves on each side of the pot.
