Although I only got this teapot yesterday, I already love it. This teapot really does keep my tea warm for a fair amount of time. The teapot and its lid do get quite hot when it is full of hot tea but the handle stays cool so you don't burn your hands when pouring a cup of hot tea. Although this teapot looks small and only holds 25 ounces, I still find that it holds enough tea for 1-3 people and possibly up to four people. The mesh infuser that comes with the teapot could be a little bit finer because some of the tiny particles of tea tend make their way through the infuser, but those particles are so small that it is not a big problem at all. I would also recommend using a trivet to protect surfaces from the heat of the teapot. I initially did not think there would be such a difference in taste when using this teapot instead of other methods, but I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first sips of tea that I brewed in this teapot. The tea brewed in this teapot does not really taste like it has a different flavor but instead tastes like a higher quality cup of tea. I also love the beautiful design of monkeys picking tea. Overall this teapot has exceeded my expectations and has led to a better tea experience.

I got this teapot from my family as a Christmas gift. My 3 girls paired it Painterly Ceramic Teacups with green inside and matching green leaf coasters. The cups are hand painted so each is different. They purposely chose four cups with green paint tones (they also come in amber and blue). They look fabulous together as a tea set and is very unique. The pot is perfect for 2 cups of tea and is easy to clean.

I bought this tea pot as a gift to myself this Christmas as I am beginning to become more "Health Conscious." It brews a perfect cup of tea, and following simple directions for the specific tea is very simple. The included stainless steel infuser steeps a wonderful cup of tea; and I love the beautiful jungle-green color and detailed artwork on the teapot. It's one of my prized possesions.

Not only is it beautiful to look at and display, but extremely practical.

I love this little monkey teapot. It is the perfect size for one or two people having tea. The pot itself is just beautiful. It's lovely on display, and really adds to the pleasure of stopping for tea whether alone or with company. My husband gets a kick out of asking me to make monkey tea and it has become our 5 PM "habit". Would definitely recommend.

I am kinda new to quality tea, but I was sold this teapot and educated on it at the Teavana store in my city. It most certainly is the best way to brew tea when you are at home. Also, this pot is beautiful with the monkeys and little leaf on the lid. I would recommend this pot to anyone.

The monkey design is gorgeous. This is a very high quality teapot - the lid fits perfectly, and the raised monkey tail & branch on the body of the pot match up flawlessly on the lid. I absolutely love this teapot!

This was the perfect tea pot for me-it is a gift that I love dearly. I was born in the year of the monkey and love the design; it is very beautiful as well as functional. The picture does not do it justice. There are two monkeys on each side, sitting on tree limbs: picking, eating and sharing leaves. There is a character under the back stem and at the bottom of the pot. The tea leaf at the top of the lid is just right for holding the lid while pouring the tea without any spills. The body is a heavy cast iron that is so durable I cannot imagine this pot ever wearing out or getting damaged, but it is not too heavy to handle easily. The ceramic lining make it easy to clean so that the taste or smell from previous teas made in it do not interfere with each new pot tasting fresh. I collect tea pots because I am an avid tea drinker, and of all the pots I have, I know for certain that this one will definitely become a family heirloom.
