I just picked this up a couple days ago, along with a pound of tea and the black hobnail cups. All I can say, is I don't think I'm going to be drinking as much coke as I used to.

Top quality simply awesome product... If your looking for a great tea steeper look no further. Just make sure you get the right size! I bought this exact pot but it was definitely to small for 3 people so get the larger pot that holds more tea. If it's just for you it's fine, but for 2 or 3 people I would get a bigger pot. But I can't say enough about how awesome this product is!

I got this for christmas along with the cast iron warmer, this dynamic duo makes my days off warm and tea filled. Once it's heated, you can simply keep adding water too it and the tea keeps a consistent flavour. Or for someone like me who enjoys their tea immensely strong, you can leave it with a tea light in the warmer and let it steep for a few hours. I'm in love

This is the second cast iron teapot I have purchased . I like it for the following reasons:
1. Lid fits flush and precise with little play .
2. Strainer basket touches bottom allowing more leaves to be infused .
3. Small pouring spout helps to keep heat from escaping .
4. Inside is enamel to protect from rust .
5. Matches iron tea warmer .
Hopefully this cast iron teapot can survive longer than my clay Yixing teapots . My wife seems to enjoy cracking , chipping and smashing the lids on them .

Bought this teapot at the Teavana store which is a shopping experience in itself. I love it, it holds 2 large mugs of tea, so you'd get a lot more if you're using the no-handle ceramic cups. It pours flawlessly and is just wonderful to look at. Keeps the tea hot for an hour? never timed it, but I also bought an iron warmer that uses a tea light in case I don't sit down to drink all at once. My son went to Japan for a few weeks, and he just loves this pot, reminds him of his trip over there. I keep it in view in my kitchen, lends a nice ambiance to the room, and provides a great tea drinking experience when used.
