This tea should have been the cornerstone tea for Teavana as this tea is heavenly and ethereal. God is love and roses are the flowers of love. When I drink this tea, I feel loved and I feel special. When made as directed the tea is too strong and the rose flavor overpowering, but if you use half a teaspoon of tea per eight ounce cup, it comes out so delicate and you taste all the nuances of the almond and violets. Because it is sweet by nature, no sugar or very little is required. Use a full teaspoon of tea per cup and drink it over ice. WOW. I stocked up on this before it sold out, but when my stock is used up, I will grieve a little.

This is such a wonderful tea! I'd recommend that anyone considering this tea give it a try. I bought this in the store and was so impressed by how amazing it looks for one, full of pink rosebuds and other goodies. Even better is how good it smells! It seems very luxurious and tastes great, although I'm not very good at describing flavors. I like it sweet. =) I'd heard that this tea was being discontinued, I hope that's not the case because I think it may be one of my new favorites.

I drink this tea whenever I feel like I need a little something special. It smells heavenly right out of the bag and looks so pretty brewing in my glass cup. I brew it and drink it just as recommended - sometimes I add a few pieces (maybe 4 or 5) of rock sugar to sweeten it very lightly (not so it tastes sweet but cuts the bitterness a touch). The rose does give it a strong floral taste and you smell the marzipan more than taste it IMO. As one reviewer mentioned, it is very "girly" - which is why I feel like a pampered princess when drinking it ;)

This is just a lovely tea. My friends and I enjoyed it over a light and fresh, early luncheon. It was the perfect compliment to a plum and almond tart we had for dessert. I purchased a large quantity to enjoy as often as I can.

What a brilliant tea! Not too heavy, not too light and smells like a sugary rose garden as soon as you open the tin. I don't use milk or sweetener for this one- it's too perfect on its own. It might be a little too fragrant for mornings but that's the only con I can think of. This is one of Teavana's best- mix with equal parts Cloud 9 Rooibos and it's even better- promise! (P.S. If you like a little cookie-dipping this is 'The One'!)

I love the almond and rose flavor mix. It's great anytime but especially in the evening in place of dessert- it's saved my diet on many an evening! I like this tea best with a little milk.

This rose marzipan tea Is good. With a unqiueness with the rose that Is slightly floral but I don't leave It in too long so I'ts not overwelming.

It's also got a nice black tea base. The candied violets are pretty. The only thing I wish the tea was a bit nuttier.

This is easily my favorite tea. The aroma is intoxicating. I don't usually like rose tea, but this one is different. It's the perfect blend, a bold black tea that is floral and sweet with a hint of almond. I caution you to be prudent when measuring. This tea has a fairly strong flavor that can become overpowering and even quite disgusting if used in excess, but this just means a full pot of tea can be made from a modest portion of leaves. Obviously, burning this tea is a bad idea. It won't become bitter, but most of the sweetness is lost and the flavor is altered. If you don't enjoy this tea the first time, try brewing another pot with a smaller portion of leaves and don’t pour the water in from a rolling boil.

FYI - I don't find Marzipan in the US often, so it may be unfamiliar to some. It's a sweet, almond paste used in candies and often combined with chocolate or fruit. I believe it is mostly found in Germany and Austria, but it may be available in other areas as well. If you like Amaretto, you would enjoy Marzipan.

I love rose tea, so this flavor caught my eye when I stopped into the store. I absolutely love it--it's sweet, flowery, and balanced. It'd make a great gift tea, because of all the pretty rosebuds in the mix. Warning: you might be tempted to eat all the candied violets--they're too yummy for words.

I just recently tried this and got from a friend. This is a black tea with a nice unique rose taste that is kinda sweet and diff. Though I't takes abit to get used to I't is still nice.

With a medium kind of flavor and I let steep for 2 minutes and the rose wasn't too powerful because of that also.

I enjoy serving this tea to guests because of its beautiful aroma and unique flavor. They are always charmed by how lovely it is, and the smell is so captivating! I find its flavor to be fairly light - I tried to use a large amount of tea leaves to intensify it, and ended up with a slightly bitter drink. I've since then learned this is a tea best enjoyed for its delicate yet rich taste. I personally enjoy marzipan, and did not find either the rose or almond flavors to be imbalanced or overpowering.

It was overwhelmingly floral in flavor and fragrance. I do enjoy a bit of rose but it seemed to overwhelm the nuttiness. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a strong rose taste and fragrance in their tea but not to someone who wants something nutty.

If tea were a prissy girl, it would be Rose Marzipan. It tastes just like it sounds like marzipan (kind of amaretto-ish) and roses. Reminds of something that my grandma might have liked. This one is a little to girlie for me. Might be good with some almond biscotti? Not sure I will buy this one again. Much prefer Rose Rooibos.
