This is perfect for teas that require 1 1/2 tsp as that is what is measures. They should sell a measured 1 tsp also for black teas, etc.

Having had it a little over a year, my husband dropped it on the kitchen floor one morning. The bowl broke off of the handle at the weld.

We got it as a replacement for an aging polycarbonate tea scoop that had come with one of our infusers about 10 years ago. Somehow stainless steel should be more durable than plastic...just don't drop it.

This spoon is the greatest. There is no more error when measuring out how many teaspoons of leaves you need to make the perfect cup of tea. I keep my in the airtight Teavana canisters along with the tea so I know where it is at all times. It's great because I have a designated spoon specifically for the tea instead of having to rummage around in my cabinets to find a teaspoon. I plan on ordering several other ones and putting one spoon in each canister of tea. It holds all the leaves just perfectly.

I use this Tea Spoon with every infusion. It is just perfect when dipping into a canister as the tea sits perfectly in the spoon without spilling out everywhere. It works well with Dragonwell which is a larger sized tea. I plan to purchase another one for a friend.
