I bought this tea because there were so many rave reviews and was a bit disappointed. The smell when you open the pouch is alright, but the strawberry scent and taste when brewed is overpowered by some kind of background flavor I can't identify. I've done everything I can to make sure I am brewing it right, but this tea is going in the garbage.

I tried this tea first hot, and was pretty impressed, but on ice it was all that much better! A wonderful tea to go with lunch, but I like it so much I just brew a large pot and put it in the fridge to sip on all day.

I drink this tea in the morning instead of coffee. It makes me go to the bathroom and makes me feel energetic all day. Don't use too much because it is very strong. Pour some milk and honey and you will feel great for the rest of the day.

I am not fond of Chinese teas of any kind. Upon reading about health benefits of oolong and pu-erh teas, I have decided to try them. The product in question gives you a cup of nice tea: smooth and creamy without milk. Strawberry gives this tea a slightly tart note, which emphasize creaminess . However, I would say that pu-erh is somewhat weak and comes out as flat after robust black teas from Ceylon and India and naturally sweet grassy Japanese green teas. Overall, Strawberry Slender Pu-Erh is appropriate for afternoon.

Im still new to preparing my teas the right way. But i must say that i really enjoy this one. Its sweet but not too sweet, if brew for the right time . The fist sip was a little bitter but after the the second it was very smooth by itself. I added a dash of soymilk and OMG!

The first time I tried this tea, it was too bitter and malty or even "earthy" tasting, but I think that is the puh-er flavor. I added a little cream and suger and it was like a creamy flavor explosion! It tasted like a strawberry shake.

This tea may have a strange aroma or taste at first, but once you take in the first few sips, you really start to taste the malty cream that's incorporated into the flavor. I add a packet of Truvia (a sugar alcohol, no calories) to 16 oz of tea, and find it to be pleasantly sweet and creamy. I believe the strawberries put of that initial pungent or maybe fermented aroma, but the tea is still great.

I blend this every morning with the Kamiya Papaya Oolong, and the flavors mingle wonderfully. I normally don't like black teas, but brewed and blended right (I brew mine in a single-cup coffeemaker so there is absolutely no steeping or sitting in bitterness), this tea is a wonderful aid for weight loss. I have it in the morning as a substitute for my coffee, and it wakes me up nicely without making me feel on-edge.

I loved this tea! Granted I did not brew it alone, but I thought it blended very well with my Oolong Tea. A suggestion a young lady working in one of the Teavana retail shops in my area presented as an option for weight loss as well as a good boost for my mornings.
I must say it is better than a cup of coffee. I still need my coffee from time to time but not as much as before. I suggest people try mixing some teas with others. It can really enhance some of them.
If you are not sure how to, or which ones mix with others. Visit a Teavana retail store and ask one of the knowledgeable associates there. I am sure they would love to assist you.

This is probably my favorite tea. The ages pu-erh provides a nice malty flavor that compliments the strawberries and cream very well. It also makes it feel 'wise' because of its age. It feels like a more experienced tea. It may be the only pu-erh available, but it is amazing. The aroma can be smelt from across a room. Very amazing.

I wasn't too crazy about this at first, but it's not too bad. I feel like I need to add a lot more sugar to this one than other teas. I do tend to prefer green and white teas instead of black though.

I bought this tea online without sampling it first - big mistake! I'm sure someone out there would like the taste of this tea, but it's so weird I would definitely not recommend buying this without trying it first. Or buy only 2oz so you don't spend too much money on a tea you aren't likely to like. Nothing against this tea (or Teavana) - it's just a really odd taste that even with blending it's a very odd taste (I've tried it with several, including Sweet Amore Rooibos, which would usually cover up anything).

I can't say if it has any diet-enhancing properties as I haven't been able to get a full cup down. It smells nice, but the taste doesn't match with the smell.

I use this tea in the morning after breakfast. I noticed that by drinking this and then some oolong tea after lunch I started loosing weight and other people started noticing too! The texture is sort of milky and the taste is good... I recommend this over the unflavored version.

I really enjoyed this tea. I'm new to the Pu-erh world, since I'm an avid Matcha & Green tea drinker. I've tried unflavored Pu-erh, and hadn't decided if I liked it or not. This strawberry flavored version has convinced me to add Pur-eh to my list of teas to enjoy.

I read the previous reviews and gave it a try. First, it is an awesome appetite suppresant. I found teh strawberry aroma very enticing. the flavor is smokier than regular black tea, but didn't seem to have as many tannins. my husband took a sip and liked it, also, and he's not a black tea fan. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unusual black tea, or a diet aid.

The lady who sold this tea to me said she lost 10 lbs while drinking this - i now see why. This tea truly does curb the appetite so one doesn't eat as much. Alone, the tea is slightly bitter, so i have mine infused with the Caribbean Breeze herbal tea, and the smell alone will sell you. It is DIVINE. Plus, this tea gives me energy so I don't feel like sitting around all day.
I brew 4 cups at once, pour 2 into a big mug and then put the remaining 2 in the fridge so it cools, b/c i personally think this tea is better cold.

I love, love, love this tea!! I drink it in multiple infusions all day: AM for the caffeine, then re-infuse in the afternoon, and again in the evening. Each infusion is just as good as the first. It has a beautiful strawberry flavor on top of a full, earthy and very smooth tea flavor. I dislike strong tannin flavor, and in this tea I don't notice tannin, just the very smooth and full flavor. It is a very different flavor from other black teas, but I prefer it because you get alot of flavor without bitterness.

I've been a caffeine addict for years, and am brand new to the world of tea. I have no idea what tea body or tea finish is. I bought the Strawberry Slender specifically because of its weight loss benefits and then was afraid to try it after reading all of the reviews. That being said,it smells like a deliciously sweet, fresh bowl of strawberries. I was very happy with the brew that resulted from mixing it with Peach Tranquility. My husband and I think it's quite tasty and I am looking forward to sharing it with my friends.

This is the worst tasting tea I have ever tasted in my entire life. I've been drinking tea for a long time and can typically finish a glass of tea even if I don't care for it, but with this tea, I can barely bring it to my lips....just awful!

First time trying a pu-erh tea, not too crazy about the smoky-like flavor. Is OK, but after I use up my 2 oz, don't think I'll re buy unless I can find a way to blend with another tea to make it more palatable.

This is one of the most unusual Pu-erh teas I have had the pleasure to try, and I absolutely LOVE it! The strawberry smooths out the normally rough edges of a pu erh. Try it with sugar and vanilla soy milk. Very soothing on the tummy after a full meal.

Honestly I thought this was the worst tea ever...before I started blending it. It's become one of my favorites for mixing, but I cannot tolerate it on its own. I mix it for a great hot tea with:
1tsp Mate Lemon Blast
1tsp Tung Ting Jade Oolong
1tsp Rooibos Peach Bloom
1tsp Strawberry Slender Pu-Erh
Steep for 3 minutes -- you can rebrew this mix once more, but sometimes it gets a bit bitter.

Also try mixing it with a 1-1 ratio with Rooibos Lemon Twist. The tea definitely works, but it does not tickle my fancy all on its own. It's ESPECIALLY important not to steep it more than 3 minutes; it's so strong.

Hmmm...pu erhs are a odd tea. Not sure if I can call that flavor good whether plain or flavored--more like tolerable. And whatever you do don't smell the bag first thing in the morning. However, they do give you a gentle push into, um, regularity. I'm not sure strawberry-cream is a complementary flavor to pu erhs. I'm not sure what would be, but they do the trick. Does anyone actually like this stuff??
