The teapot is nice, but the infuser is useless. Pieces of tea clogged up the hole of the glass filer and small pieces of tea were not filtered out. I bought a Finum gold filter and I am happy with the combination.

I would use a tea light to try to keep the water hot, but it never worked, which is weird because at the store it always works.
I love the look, and it's nice to have it out on cold fall/winter days.
Love the removable glass filter built in.

I love the teapot but it can't be used with the glass warmer. I bought the set and the warmer will not stay lit with this teapot on it.

We bought this tea pot because we had a bunch of Teavana teas and we just assumed that with a teapot from Teavana, there was no way we could go wrong. We were also on a slight budget, and since the rest of the teapots were upwards of 50 bucks, we settled on this one. It wasn't outrageously priced, it looked fairly pretty, and while it wasn't anything special, we wanted a teapot soon.We used it perhaps two times before the middle filter broke. The top also broke after it fell off and onto the counter. Not the floor, the counter. The glass was so fragile, cheap, and thin that it just shattered. This teapot was not worth the [$]. It felt cheap in hand, the glass is terrible, and the filter does not work as well as I had thought. The only good thing about this teapot was that it looked nice while it lasted.

Someone in customer service recommended the Belle Amite teapot to me--said it was his favorite one. It IS a beautiful teapot--the mouth was big enough for me to get my hand into, so I'd be able to clean it easily. The problem was the glass infuser inside--it has the little slits cut at the bottom. When I began adding the water the tea immediately begins to swell, and then it's not long before the water won't drain from the infuser into the pot, and you have about half the water in the pot, and about half still in the infuser. Ended up having to raise the infuser and use a spoon to move the tea around to clear it so it would drain. Really disappointed--was excited to have a pretty tea pot, but I'll stick with the PerfectTea Maker.
