This jasmine tea is great to help you wake up in the morning - especially when you didn't get enough sleep and you have a "I didn't sleep well" tummy-ache. If I make a pot of this tea in the morning, I'm out the door quicker than usual and without the tummy-ache. It has just enough caffeine that you'll be awake, but without jitters.

Although I love Jasmine scented teas, this was not incredibly enjoyable for me. The aroma of the jasmine is absolutely wonderful, but the taste of the tea left something to be desired. Not exactly bitter, but it had a definite, distinct aftertaste I found unpleasant. This was my first oolong, so perhaps I'm just not a fan of the oolong taste. For reference, I'm primarily a white, red and green tea drinker and avoid all black tea. I'll probably avoid oolong in the future as well. I also don't recommend it for late evening drinking. My fiance and I had a horrible time getting to sleep after drinking a pot of this tea one evening.
It was very impressive watching how much the tea leaves expand in this tea.
I far prefer the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls to this tea.

Comments about Teavana Jasmine Oolong Tea:
At first I was not a fan of this tea. I thought it was a bit bitter and I did not like the Jasmine. So, I put it on my shelf for a few months and pulled it off again yesterday. Let me just say, I am so happy that I still had it. It is great tea. I think my problem when I first tried was my water temperature. I had a faulty thermometer that I replaced a bit ago. With the right water temperature and brew time, this tea is great!

Comments about Teavana Jasmine Oolong Tea:
The first thing that made me buy this tea was the simple fact that I like the smell of jasmine. I never had oolong tea previously, so I thought I would venture out. I now keep a tin of it at work and a tin at home. I have even packed it in a suitcase to bring with me on trips. It is light and refreshing, and always seems to put me in a good mood. And I have unscientific evidence that this tea cures any ailment (although I think tea in general can cure anything ;) ). It says that it's good for digestive health, and I think it certainly is. I haven't tried this yet, but I think this tea would taste amazing with a tiny drop of vanilla extract, or maybe some vanilla sugar. I love bold teas, but this one has special place in my heart. I love the fact that it has a floral note to it, not a fruity note. Putting aside all of tea's proven health benefits, the aroma and flavor of this tea alone are enough to make you feel like you're doing something good for yourself.
Also, I'm not sure how some of the other reviewers managed to get a "bitter" taste with this tea? The only time I got close to having a bitter taste with this tea was when I left the tea leaves in my glass as I was drinking it slowly...so it just steeped the whole time, and the flavor got a little bitter (or "leafy") during the last few sips.
Can't say enough great things about this tea!

Comments about Teavana Jasmine Oolong Tea:
Great tea for a true tea lover or health conscious. It would be a little plain for a tea 'beginner'. I love to mix it with Weight-To-Go or Blackberry Mojito Green Tea. A little fruity kick takes it to a whole new level.

Comments about Teavana Jasmine Oolong Tea:
I have never had an oolong or a jasmine tea before, but tried it based on the many positive reviews here. I am very glad I did. This tea is amazing, it has such a smooth, calming flavor and smells lovely. I sweetened it with some white gold honey. Definitely found a new favorite.

Comments about Teavana Jasmine Oolong Tea:
Great tea. I first encountered teavana at the mall near campus. I quickly found out I am a huge fan of good quality tea. It's definitly worth the extra 20 cents - 30 cents per cup when you do the math for something that actually tastes as good as it smells. I love oolong tea in and of itself, however the jasmine added to it just takes it even more out of this world.
