Teavana Store Samples

Your local Teavana stores offers delicious samples of certain teas. This guide will help you make the teas at home (or figure out which tea you tasted). To taste these teas, find the Teavana nearest you here. Below are our sample teas along with instructions for making these tea blends.

Jasmine Tropica tea blend:

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea, use 2tsp of each tea and 3tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 175 degrees and steep for 2 minutes.

Chai/Chai tea blend:
White Ayurvedic Chai Tea

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea, use 2tsp of each tea and 3tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 175 degrees and steep for 2 minutes.

Mate Chai blend:

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea, use 2tsp of each tea and 3tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 208 degrees and steep for 5 minutes.

Iced Peachberry Lemonade blend (our iced tea sample):
Peachberry Jasmine Sutra Green Tea

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea: In a Perfect Tea Maker, put 3tsp of Strawberry Lemonade and 5tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 208 degrees and pour to just over where the handle attaches (around 12oz of the water) to the Tea Maker. Steep for 5 minutes and allow the remaining water to cool slightly (to around 175 degrees). After that, add 3tsp of the Peachberry Jasmine Sutra and the remaining water. Steep for another 4 minutes. Drain over ice.

Monkey Picked Oolong tea (in cast iron teapot):

Instructions:
Use 2tsp of tea. Heat water to 175 degrees and steep for 3 minutes.

Use 1 tea ball and 1tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 175 degrees and steep until tea blooms (around 5 minutes).

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea: In a Perfect Tea Maker, put 3tsp of Apple Lemon Pomegranate and 5tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 208 degrees and pour to just over where the handle attaches (around 12oz of the water) to the Tea Maker. Steep for 5 minutes and allow the remaining water to cool slightly (to around 175 degrees). After that, add 3tsp of the Fruta Bomba and the remaining water. Steep for another 3 minutes. Drain over ice.
