Sphere Tatara Tan Cast Iron Teapot

Tatara pots are designed by Hisanori Masuda, using the ancient art of Tatara ironworking, perfected in the mid-Edo Period in Japan (mid-18th century). Mr. Masuda's work has been exhibited in some of the world's finest museums, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. A recipient of many design awards, he teaches at Tohoku University of Art & Design in Japan. Enameled on the inside for years of use, preventing rust and oxidization, and equipped with a stainless steel mesh infuser for use with loose-leaf tea, the ideal way to brew. 32-ounce capacity.
