Made by a family owned cast company with a 400 year history of cast iron craft and designed by famed industrial designer Ken Okuyama, this teapot is beautifully constructed. It features a fully-enameled inside and a stainless steel strainer for easy cleaning. The eggshell finish exterior has several layers of hand-applied lacquer that has been heat tempered for strength and durability. Cast iron remains the best way to brew tea. Satin gold finish.
