Storing tea is an art form in some cultures. This large ceramic tea container is made in the Arita region of southern Japan known for high quality ceramics and this is no exception. Because of its size and shape, it is difficult to fire, so you can see the result of a master craftsman in every tea tin. After firing, these containers are hand painted for an artistic, beautiful finish that keeps your tea fresh and delicious for up to a year. Container includes an interior plastic cap to seal it. The lid and container are ceramic. Holds approximately five ounces of tea depending on the size of the leaves.
